What a wonderful Pub. This was our first visit. The atmosphere was busy on this lovely spring day, full of families and couples. People enjoying themselves. Why wouldn't they - what an amazing place. The service was above and beyond. Max - our server was attentive, kind and made us feel very welcome. Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Also the food, oh gosh the food. Being a Sunday a few of us tried the roasts, Divine - huge Yorkshire's, yummy roast potatoes and perfectly cooked veg. Oh and definitely try the puddings 🥰 We will be sure to returning soon.

We all had very lovely food and especially the roast dinners and turkey, the fish and chips, signature burgers and kids menu with many options

Maxine was lovely she was friendly and explained the menu and was knowledgeable regarding what meals were not available. Thank you ☺️ I had chicken pie with mash potatoes and vegetables which we’re delicious however the pie was a little let down by the consistency, would have much preferred it to be more creamier.

Great place, very friendly and welcoming staff. The chefs were amazing. They produced a varied and excellent quality of food, the best gammon ever - taste, moist and presentation were perfect.

Food was absolutely gorgeous. I had a turkey roast and ate the lot. All my family and friends enjoy all their food too. Only slight niggle was service was slow. But it was worth the wait as food was delicious

Myself and a friend came for a spot of Lunch and the food was fantastic! My steak was cooked to perfection! Kallum and Samuel were in the kitchen and did a great job! Our server Max was amazing! Very polite and professional! Might make it our regular lunch spot. Thanks again!

Definately recommend coming after a night out with your friends, was absolutely spectacular and couldn’t have asked for better service from the lovely Lauren and Emily. The salt and pepper calamri was to die for! What a wonderful experience!

We arrived at no booking with our disabled granddaughter, having experienced eating there before. The staff could not have helped us more, nothing was an issue and they remained attentive throughout our stay. The chef was tim. Really stood out the table service. Thank you team.

Maxine was lovely who served us, we just had an unfortunate issue with one of the meals which was managed really well.

We came here for a midweek treat and weren’t disappointed, I had the hunters chicken schnitzel, my partner had the 8oz gammon and our daughter had the signature burger and we all agreed they were lovely. The staff were great and we didn’t have to wait too long for our food either, we’ll definitely be back.

I only popped in today with my toddler for a soft drink, the young lady at the bar was SO kind to us, thank you so much.

Menu is quite restricted. Lamb shank was very nice Don't bother having a steak. This is no a flame grill. Seasoning was non existent. No malard chairing on the steak Doubt it was cooked fresh. Seemed, like other restaurants, defrosted then cooked. Menu and a decent flame grill is needed. Steak is definitely not up to standard it should be. Steak should NEVER be grey on the surface.

Exceptional service from start to finish, great food. Loved our Sunday Lunch.

Unfortunately this visit never worked for us, don’t think we will go back. So apologies. Party of 4 my order was 1) prawn cocktail. 2) 3 meat roast. Bread on prawn cocktail was either just out the freezer or the coldest fridge ever.. in fairness the server did offer to change it, we kept it. Main course just not worth the £19.99p. Small portions, poor quality beef, just over powered with veg. Was an expensive experience. Was previously a top place to go.

We had pre booked a table for my mums 60th, we had a lovely time. Food and drinks were again lovely. Nothing was to much trouble. Jack the deputy manager is absolutely lovely and went above and beyond.

We visited on Friday January 17th and had great friendly service from Maxine. Our delicious meals were prepared by chefs Kal & Dale! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, which brightened up a rather grey January afternoon! Anne & John Tilling.

Went for Christmas Dinner. Not been out for Christmas before but the staff were lovely and welcoming and the decor was festive. The service was great and the meal was lovely.

Great pub. Really nice food and great service. Every time I go in I’ve been served by Maxine and she is lovely.

Visited this pub a few years ago in the afternoon, and it was great. service, food, ambience, everything was amazing. However, popped in on the off chance of a meal and relaxing drink only to find that it has lost all of the charm it used to have. It's such a shame for a really big pub to be so empty on a Saturday night. Hopefully, it gets better and busier soon.

Lovely place, warm & cozy. Food was nice although the buttermilk chicken burger could have been drained from the fat it was cooked in. It was lovely and tender but as I bit into it the fat just squirted out! Not pleasant. Drain first on kitchen paper maybe before serving. Otherwise all was lovely and I would have give 5 stars as everything else including service & atmosphere was perfect 👌

We visited the Walton Arms on December 25th and was looked after by Alisha. She was very friendly, attentive and provided excellent service.

Lovely pub, staff very friendly. Kids had chips and pizza they really enjoyed it. We had the turkey pie with red wine and mash. The best pie we've had so far. Would definitely recommend this place. We will be back to try their Sunday dinners as it wasn't available on the Wednesday. Its affordable we paid about £60 to £65 i think. 2 pint of beer and a bottle of diet coke and the kids drinks were included in their meals I think.

Food was perfect and cooked to perfection

Had the Roast. Solid 8/10. The lamb was delicious - very soft. Potatoes were tasty. Carrots a little under cooked but still edible. Beautiful place inside and out. A little cold inside for my liking. A bit of a wait for our food but it was worth it in the end. Dessert was very nice too. Will definitely be back for another Roast and pint of Estrella.

Christmas lunch at the The Walton Arms today as family working yesterday etc and sadly have to say it was pretty much a disaster. Started with a phone call 2 hours before saying the delivery hadn’t arrived so no Christmas menu available (although no mention of this at noon when we called to confirm time of booking) just pub classics……don’t insult my intelligence and just admit the ordering was cocked up and yesterday was so busy you ran out! Then no apology or any form of gesture of good will just very defensive staff, slow service for starters to arrive and poor atmosphere (oh and cold too). They didn’t seem bothered in the slightest about destroying a families Christmas meal together. Lesson learnt won’t be eating there again and certainly don’t recommend Christmas dining!

Lovely atmosphere, cosy environment, our food was excellent, Maxine our waitress was very friendly and helpful and really good craic, the steaks were perfect steak and venison pie was superb
