Been quite a few years since I went to the Hatton Arms but was delighted to find it was better than ever. Fantastic lunch with a client in the lovely beer garden (The Cheese & Onion Pie was sublime!) and the Hatton Gold 4.1 ale was excellent. Won’t be long before we return

First time for Sunday lunch here but have visited many years ago on Fridays for the best fish and chips around. Duo roast of beef and pork was fabulous. We are on a tour of Sunday lunch pubs looking for Xmas lunches but unfortunately Hatton Arms does not appear open on Xmas day. Please correct me if I am wrong. If you want the Traditional Sunday Lunch you need to visit here. Great staff fabulous service excellently priced. Enjoy!.

What a little gem to find a "proper pub" lovely staff and atmosphere. Food looked beautiful dining room so comfortable lovely log fires. Definitely worth a visit.

Near to the birth place of Alice in Wonderland author. Beautiful location and very cosy. The food is delicious and service is friendly.

Meals are amazing here, no matter what time of day you go...staff are always polite and happy to help...definitely recommend xx

This lovely country pub offers fantastic quality food and a warm and friendly service. The atmosphere is wonderful and if I didn't live so far away I would be happy for it to be my local. Top tip, the Hatton pie is one of the best I've had. Can't wait to return and try the specials, alas I was a little late in the afternoon last Saturday and missed out!

Visited tonight for a birthday meal, second time in a few weeks and for the second time it was 5 star food and 5 star service and also a stunning little place, highly recommend!

Stumbled upon this little gem on the way home from Wales. The food and service were amazing. We had the Confit duck pappardelle and the Wild mushroom linguine, both delicious but hubby ordered a side of salt & pepper chips and he can never order them from anywhere else as, he said, they are the best he's ever tasted!!! Lovely, friendly pub, which we will definitely be returning to.

Well kept beer and good WiFi connection! Found a good quiet backroom to do a work meeting too.

Great Pub with traditional British pub atmosphere. The food, especially the steak pie and chips, is fantastic. Will be back next time we are in the UK.

Visited for a meal on Sunday, restaurant was full so ate in the bar area. Food was amazing, proper home cooking, and the gravy was top drawer. A true Northern pub and will happily cross Warrington for another visit.

Best Sunday Roast I’ve had in ages. Loads of beef, gorgeous veggies and sides cauliflower/broccoli cheese included not an additional extra, huge Yorkshire pudding filled with crispy onions !! I was so full but refused to leave anything. Definitely going back.

The service was warm. The atmosphere was cozy. The fish and chips were very delicious and fresh. The butter and pork were just as old and tough as they had been overnight.

Nice pub, friendly staff. Had to take 3rd choice of food because my first 2 choices on the menu were sold out. Ordered stuff then advised, after 5 mins or so, that they didn't have them. Got a burger in the end, which was average at best.

Had the mixed roast Sunday lunch was very nice , but definitely would have liked more veg and different veggies as I dont eat potatoes And even tho i did say when ordering could I have extra veg was disappointed that there were no extra veg and they still put the potatoes in the serving which were wasted .

If only this pub was within walking distance I could quite easily spend a lot of time there. It's an old building with lots of cosy little rooms really lovely atmosphere.

Great meal and attentive service

We had the nicest Sunday roast here today, veggie toad in the hole and the duo roast, absolutely delicious chef 👍 we ate in the bar area but they also have plenty of other rooms, an open fire, and a restaurant. Really enjoyable visit. Easy parking across the road, relaxed atmosphere, soundtrack easy listening and helpful friendly staff 🤗

Always nice place to have food and drink

Called for lunch and we both had the festive roast turkey dinner which was excellent. We have been a few times here and each time has been fresh hot food good choice for traditional pub with a touch of class

I can't thank the manager and chef enough as they very kindly opened early to provided a buffet and private area for us following my father's funeral. There was a fire lit for our arrival, the food was lovely,everything was very professional and organised. But id like to thank Jackie for her kindness and compassionate at a difficult time for us. All very much appreciated. With regards Christine

Always clean and the staff is friendly

Dog friendly but it seems forced upon them. The dogs are allowed in one room but have to stay on the concrete slab floor and the staff don't seem happy to have dogs in. They have beds but the beds absolutely STINK. I ended up putting my jacket on the floor for our dog. The food was OK but the roast was a small, fancy portion and an hour or so later my other half was hungry again.

Good choice of beers and good choice of food which is of excellent quality and well presented. Recently updated the restaurant and seating in bars. Friendly atmosphere and when it's cold outside the roaring fire is most welcome. A great pub to visit! Recommended ! Go there!!

John your pub used to be fantastic , the bar appears still to be but the restaurant supervisor was just rude and unwelcoming with two young children she refused a table for a high chair expecting a two year old to sit at the back right high table, we was told the low tables where reserved for wheelchair users (all three of them) we explained we booked a high chair and was told very abruptly that no the system booked the table and can’t be changed , having moved tables before that’s nonsense and then told to wait until another table waited 15 minutes two two hungry young children and not called , again went in was rudely spoken too and heard the supervisor say to a table leaving ‘don’t rush’ , no second drinks order like the tables around us no dessert requests , no asking how the meal was like the table around us You went to a great school in Manchester from memory and have great manners not sure what happened to your supervisor today

A proper village pub with nice staff and friendly customers. Ideal destination for townies looking for a tranquil escape. Great restaurant and large beer garden.

Had an excellent meal of steak pie and chips. It was delicious and there was plenty of it. Very friendly pub. I sat outside and had a good chat with the locals and staff who all seemed to know each other! Excellent pricing too. Ring o bells was 30% more expensive the day before and not great !

Took the Mrs for a meal first time here oh my god food to die for and one of the best pints around Hatton gold just try it for yourselves you be disappointed

Was kept waiting at the bar before anyone spoke to us. I had booked a table for two. After about 10 mins we got to order our drinks and food. Drinks came, then we waited, and waited, and waited. After an hour I asked when they thought we might get our meals....we'd both ordered roast beef. After the staff all vanished into the kitchen a female member of staff came to say that our order had been lost as they'd had to change the till roll......thought about this on the drive home, so how comes the drinks came? Pretty soon the food arrived, looked lovely, tasted good too....not enough roast potatoes though, mash just doesn't cut it on a roast dinner. We did wonder if they might have knocked anything off the bill as an apology for the extended wait, no they didn't, not even 1 of the drinks. Food good, service poor. Not sure I want a 30 min drive there again, and thats a pity.

Food was good and priced reasonably. The atmosphere is suitable for families and when the weather is nice could sit in the quite spacious beer garden. Good service by the staff. Spacious car park which is located opposite the pub. Quiet location. Overall good experience and recommended.

It's a lovely little place staff & food are great

We were here for Sunday dinner and it was fabulous. The portions were huge! Lots of roast beef and perfect Yorkshire puddings. Even better were the generous portions of vegetables. The dining room is lovely and the service excellent. Thanks Hatton Arms staff!

Food wasn't the greatest veg was raw and the beef I was tuff

We ordered a salmon & prawn salad, as they did not have the falafel salad we actually wanted to order, chicken wings and chips. After waiting for over an hour, we checked where our food was. The member of staff spoken to was rather rude, then informing us our food had arrived whilst stood at the bar asking for an update. The food tasted great, but the salad was massively over priced at £17.95. It was tiny.

Popped in for a family meal having not been before. Service from Ali was brilliant and everyones food was delicious. A great menu with plenty to choose from, We will definitely be visiting again and recommending to others. The Sunday Roast was one of the best I have had - Thank you and keep up the good work!

Good cup of coffee served with a biscuit. Coffee brought to table. Very good price for a Flat White Coffee.

Brilliant place! Very accommodating as I visited on the spot and wanted something to eat, they fitted me in as it was very busy. Never been before, ended up in what looks like, the horse racing room with loads of horse racing, visitors, owners stand/seats etc badges hung up on the beams above. Had the cheese and onion pie as there wasn't any veggie burger left. It is the most tastiest c&o pie I've ever had. Will definitely be back for that again. Met some lovely people there including the staff and regulars. Dogs are allowed inside and was friends with a tiny little un who loved my nose! Photos bit blurred as she was moving to get comfy after washing my nose! Give this place a go. I'll be back again for my c&o pie and to see more furry friends.

What a diamond of a hidden Little rustic pub. Gorgeous listed building and all the quirky little Snug areas with low ceilings and beams. Open fires and great beers. The Hatton Gold is a great pint.

The Hatton Arms is a welcoming, warm pub with a real fire and different rooms depending on your needs. It is dog friendly and horses are often stationed out the back by riders popping in for refreshment. I have just had a meal here. The menu was appetising with a number of specials also advertised. I had a beef and Hatton ale pie with chips and vegetables. The pie had a perfectly baked golden crust with large chunks of succulent beef and a lovely flavoured gravy. The chips were extra chunky and also golden and crispy but light and fluffy in the middle. I will definitely eat here again when I am in the area. I should have taken a photo before I began eating but it looked too delicious!

Nice beer garden. Great place for a pint or two of Hatton Gold in the sun. But not as friendly as it used to be. And certainly less dog friendly for a country pub. Lost some atmosphere in side.

Really nice food but pity we were not in the restaurant as booked. Ended up in the middle of noisy football fans that spoiled our evening somewhat.

I was attending my brothers funeral so I can't say what the meals were like, we had a buffet lunch which was very nice, food and service was very good, atmosphere as you can imagine was sombre but overall l would recommend it.

Excellent Sunday roast today. Selection of beef pork or chicken, vegetables perfect, desserts yummy. Service very good and all reasonably priced. Would recommend but be sure to book as it was full.

I don't normally like Korma curry, but the one at the Hatton Arms was actually quite good. So as Korma goes it was the best I've ever had. 10 out of 10

Organised a leaving do to the Hatton Arms at short notice due to another venue cancelling on me. The staff were able to cater for a party of 20 with short notice, with all satisfied with their food and drink. Good job!
