The best restaurants in Fairfield and Howley Warrington North West

This place is the business. Really excellent cafe food. Great quality English breakfast. Delicious quality bacon and sausage plus all the extras you would want. Lunch options are great such as corned beef hash, lasagna, chilli etc. The staff are great and super friendly. The food is also way to cheap for the quality. I visited this place about ten times. Loved it. A great traditional style cafe without all the pretentious bull****. These places are very hard to find these days. Great job!

I ordered over the phone, an hour and a half later I had to call the takeout to see where the food was. A staff member said they had been calling my number and had left a voice mail as the person who took the order did not get the door number. I advised I had no missed calls nor did I have voicemail In order for the takeaway to leave a message. Clearly a poor excuse for incompetence. Anyway the person said the food would be fifteen mins. Half an hour later the food arrived. In the southern garlic dish there were around 8 garlic cloves, uncut and hard. Big chunks of tomato again uncooked. The starter of meat smelt that bad I gave it to the dog who would not eat it. And the chicken was not cooked fully. The onion bhijs were soggy, I seriously do not know what to say, except j was that disappointed I took to writing this review. Poor and sad experience

We have never had a bad meal always perfect but tonight not the best, tasteless. If you have a new chef get rid Very disappointing 😞

moved to the area and struggled to find a good Chinese but I have now the best chrispy beef I've had will recommend and will be ordering again and very polite staff on collection

Amazing food and Amazing service from our waiter Jaz. Food came quick and was all boiling hot and fresh. Couldn’t ask for any more. Would definitely recommend

Ordered the salt and pepper box for delivery as my leg is broken and it was the only Chinese place open for some reason The lady was lovely, took my order and sorted everything out, perfect so far I got the food, 12 inch pizza box filled with everything ( I usually like it separate but no problem), started eating but realized there is no chicken pieces! Tried to separate everything out and found 8 mini small pieces of chicken, can probably have them all in one bite :) Called the place the lady was so understanding and told me that she is now allowed to do anything because the manager is not there, so guess, what i went down with my broken leg... Manager came down and started shouting at me in Chinese, the lady was translated into me that he is saying that no one else complained about this and this is the amount of food we give, i was like this is not fair amount of chicken to get for £23, HE STARTED SHOUTING AGAIN! Like bro have some respect! I came all the way with my leg to get this sorted and you talk to me like that in Chinese and i can't understand anything you saying? They do not care about their customers, the only thing he cared about is that he will have to waste the chips and make new ones I then refused to have the food again after his attitude, so he shouted again in Chinese 😂 like brother i can't understand you! Then he gave me £20, kept arguing with him until he gave me my £23 back Horrible experience, i wish i just had some frozen pizza instead of going through all of this and getting shouted at! NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! (Sorry for the lady, you were very respectful and nice but i can't let that happen)

Ordered from this gaff, worst mistake probably made for a long time, mixed starter absolutely rank full of grease, ordered papadums with chillie jam n onions, no papadums came,then they said when I ordered will be 45to n hour, it came 1hr 40 mins later, stay away from this place 👍

Fantastic breakfast. Unfortunately the Roast beef dinner was cold, poor quality and exceptionally disappointing. I did try to explain to a staff member but just got "oh" as a response.

Everyday I get a cup of tea and a ginger bread man. But I like my tea strong so they leave my tea bag in. Instead of leaving the string and paper out at the end of the bag I always burn my fingers. Everything else is brilliant.

I am disappointed in the shoe service prioritising drive through whilst my order was already in. Its very dirty outside

So disappointed with the service we got. I never leave bad reviews at all but on this occasion I have to be honest I'm afraid! Ordered the £2.99 breakfast deal at the window, went through and the girl said the order hadn't been made, despite collecting it via the intercom 5 minutes prior. She said she'd put it through, then said the deal didn't count (even though it was on the app). Husband tried to make things easier and said just get a double sausage and egg meal with a drink. Had a 10 min wait sat there, we went to collect and were then given the wrong order - bacon with nothing on it and a hash brown with a drink? Not sure what was going on but something needs sorting with drive thru and ordering as it was awful! Whether the staff member was new or not, training should be done fully to prevent this from happening to others. We were going to go back and sort it but after all the faffing around and time wasted, had to leave. Won't be returning to this branch again.

This Chinese is the worst I have ever had! Greasy, way to salty, the chicken was chewy and tasted weird, over all all everything we ordered just tasted horrendous, ! we couldnt eat it! my children's sausage was thrown in the fat to reheat it, i could see the fat under the skin of the sausage! when my son cut into his food the fat splirted out all over his plate! even our dog turn her nose up at the food. Such a shame as this place was lovely many years ago.
