The BBQ ribs are to DIE for they are always 10/10 spot on. Every meal we’ve had from here has been great.

1st time trying NEVER going back..…the sweet n sour chicken was really sour, the salt n pepper chips were re heated they were vial got home with the order and was missing the curry sauce. The lady in there had to help with the order as the old guy jus didnt write it all down. Feel sick now very disappointed as it just lacked flavour. Even the sweet n sour sauce tasted like disinfectant

Always a great meal, food was tasty and good portion size

Not as nice as usual, duck was really skimpy with hardly any meat on, no meat on the ribs either. Everything else was nice xx

Disappointing tonight. Salt & pepper chips we’re all wet & soggy. Prawn toast was 1 slice of toast cut into 4 strips but there was nothing prawn about that toast. Just really thin & greasy. Veggie spring rolls had more pastry than veg 😔

Delivery was longer than expected, wouldn’t order again as you don’t get your money worth in the slightest . Get tiny portions in a little tub and the quality of the food is lacking . Use to be great quality years ago here but never again , partner even said not to order here as we tried it few months ago on her account and was the same not good

Waited a little longer for delivery but was well worth it, delivery driver very pleasant. Food was piping hot, the duck was cooked to perfection, all absolutely delicious and so much of it!

Ready early and handed over with care & courtesy. Very possibly the nicest Chinese food I've ever had. Every dish was a more stunning version of items I've had from other places. First visit of many.

Food (banquet + extras) were ready after only 10 minutes. Food was cold and could tell it had been rewarmed. Can’t complain via just eat as after 2 hours the status of the delivery still hasn’t been changed

Never ordered from here before but gave it a try and wasn’t disappointed! We ordered the banquet for 2, everything was absolutely delicious and lasted us 2 days, such good value for money and will definitely be our go to in future.

over an hour early so it was spoilt, partner hadn't even got home. salt and pepper chips were from frozen fries and in a plastic container so they were wet. Chicken fried rice was dry and flavourless. special chow mein had hardly any meat and was really bland. Worse take away we've ever had!!!

Tried the place because it considerably cheaper on here than others. Truth is you get what you pay for. Prawn toast was a slice of bread with a very very think slither of prawn…won tons small, spring rolls ok, chips very small portion. Weirdly all the starters and chips were anaemic and pale. Prawn toast for example was still floppy bread… also it was very bland, no seasoning or flavour anywhere. If you’re looking for cheap and cheerful…you’ll get cheap here but pay the extra and go your usual

Are these good reviews bought?? I’ve never had anything something so disgusting in my life. The beef curry , the beef is coated in some undercook batter. The spring rolls oozed cold oil. It’s all in the bin pictures sent to just eat for a refund. Frozen pizza in oven. Gob smacked this has an over 4 rating. You all should try jades garden for a nice Chinese

Have used this takeaway for a few years now as it's always been good value and reasonable food. However, last two visits, the portions have been very small. Won't be going again.

the ribs were delicious. however hardly any meat, and barely a teaspoon of honey. the crispy seaweed tasted stale. the crispy Mongolian lamb was amazing.

Spot on as per usual. Never had a bad order experience with The Rose Delight and I highly recommend the beef in Szechuan sauce

The order took over 2 hours to arrive, it's clear that this restaurant has taken more orders than they are able to fulfill. not only was it late but the quality of the food was poor, we have ordered from the restaurant before and enjoyed the food. This time it was clear that the food was rushed, I appreciate that Christmas eve is probably a busy night but they shouldn't take more orders than they can fulfil, which thet clearly have.

Good service however the salt and pepper chips wasn’t seasoned well enough , you can tell the chips were frozen ones and they got cold really quickly however the banana and pineapple fritters were amazing.

Can custom order food without salt. :-) Chicken chow mein - Not great, not bad. Chicken was okay. Noodles not good. Veg very good. Garlic fried rice - pleasant Chips - a bit soggy Orange duck - pretty nice Lemon chicken - Unpleasant synthetic flavour.

Banquet for 2 is the best value in town. Great tasting meals made better by the fact you can choose your own 2 mains, with change from a 20pound note. Very hard to come by these days thanks to cozzy livs.

Food was very greasy. Have ordered before and it’s been nice so perhaps just a bad day. Ended up throwing the majority away as I couldn’t eat it.

Very confused by my order received. Both the ribs and the chicken which is listed as being in a sauce couldn't have been more dry. Shame because the food was on time couldn't have been hotter and the portions were good but it was so dry half of it required me to make my own sauce to eat.

I was really disappointed everything we ordered was bland and tasteless except the curry and duck. I always try to look for the positives in everything but I’m really struggling to find any.

Best Chinese I’ve had in a while. Reasonable prices, great quality. Portion size on the smaller side but price reflects that. Free prawn crackers. Delivered early and payed attention to requests for no onions etc.

Why, oh, why was the chicken in the chicken curry battered? Not happy. Scraped so much off. Then binned the rest. Not happy at all. Note to self. Search for new supplier.

First time here for a while .. Brilliant delivery, super fast and very pleasant delivery person. Food very nice only comment was the main courses were quite small (half volume of the usual plastic tubs) very very tasty but small portions..

Some of the food was delicious but some was awful, the bbq chicken skewers were vile and tasted like fish. The beef was an awful taste awful and overpowered the sauce. Won’t be ordering again sadly.

The food took almost 2 hours to arrive, (we ordered 4 things) and they gave me the wrong order! I ordered veggie dumplings and got some samosas and the mushroom goo yung was rubbery and soaked in water. We had to call up to even get our order to be made. Not coming back.

First time trying this Chinese food was lovely and delivered on time. Prices was reasonable apart from the Dim Sum starter with seaweed for two people was disappointed small portion side with barely no seaweed however did still enjoy it but not worth £8 wouldn't get the starter again.

Half of my order missing. Please refund what’s missing

Use to be brilliant place but everything I received tonight was children’s portions in tiny tubs . For the prices they have become stingy I will just go elsewhere in future

I have to say that I was not overly impressed with the food at this takeaway. The salt & pepper chicken wings lacked flavour, and were by far the scrawniest morsels that I’ve had from ‘any’ Chines takeaway to date. Likewise, the sauce in my beef & mushroom was very gloopy and was way too salty. My experience has been far from satisfactory and I certainly will not be returning.

Food is always spot on and delivery is always on time. No complaints. We went for a bit of a bigger order this time, added the Duck appetiser and Sui Mai. Both excellent.

I almost don’t want to admit how good this was in case everyone else orders from there!

The par far soup tasted like dish water with maybe 2 tiny prawns chopped up and some egg white! Definitely no crab. The salt and pepper chips were cold soggy fries with maybe 2 jalapeños chopped up in there but not a hint of seasoning. The ribs with fatty with barely any meat. The seaweed was the only thing half decent and that was a tiny portion. Won't be ordering again.

Food arrived early which was amazing! It came piping hot. We ordered the beef chow mien and chicken fried rice, both were delicious! Proper chippy chips, but thinner. Very tasty appetisers. Delivery driver was lovely! Would definitely order again.
