Food is mediocre at best, it’s a hint of carribean food nothing at all like others I’ve tried where you can taste the authentic Caribbean flavours. They also don’t send the jerk sauce advertised with the meal, so dry chicken, dry rice and dry chips 👍🏻. If you want to actually try some amazing, authentic Caribbean food try mama flo’s in Stockport 🤤

The food is delicious and first class service. Excellent telephone service too . The staff so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

Food was cold was delivered very late and didn’t get part of the order. Very disappointing it looked like it was kicked dropped into the delivery car. Shame on the delivery driver not happy

ordered at around 9.30pm, was still waiting for the food at 11.30pm. poor service. Will not be placing an order for delivery again. the food didn't arrive even tho I gave them my mobile number twice when calling the place twice. very poor service.

Absolutely terrible service we ordered food at 19.30 and spoke to the shop about our order twice with them saying it was on its way. It's now 22.10 and no food and the shop is closed We paid £53 for this order. It finally turned up at 22.20 and I have had to put it in the fridge it's to late to eat it now Sorry but we will not be ever using them again.

ordered from here for the first time after seeing it on social media at 6:10pm. the order was scheduled to arrive between 6:40pm and 7:00pm and at 6:55pm they called us to tell us they had no salmon which was fair enough but rather late and we opted for fried fish instead. we then waited a further 35 minutes for the order to arrive, a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes between ordering and receiving the food, bear in mind we don’t live far from the shop. we ordered a chicken strips & steak box which arrived with no steak so i called the shop and they got another box of steak with chips and rice sent out within 20 minutes with a fruit punch. the steak in the boxes was dry and the rice was bland. we also ordered a burger and paid for extra cheese with which it arrived with 0 cheese on. we made this order on a friends birthday and was very dissatisfied with the quality of the food, small portions and the mistakes.in all honesty i would not recommend here to anyone due to our experience.

Ordered food at 8:00pm, restaurant shut at 10 currently 10:25 and food still not arrived tried ringing restaurant and got no answer poor service overall will be requesting a refund as having received my food what a waste of time

After 12 months of not ordering from pixies we took the chance and thought things might have changed but unfortunately not! We placed order at 19.30 and I am sat here at 21.50 still with NO food. We paid £53 for this order and nothing I have to be in bed soon for a 6.30 get up for work.... Pixies if you can't fulfill a order don't except it it's not good practice to make your customers wait hours after hours ....Sadly we will never be using you again however good your food

Stumbled across this place randomly and the owner gave me the menu, can’t say enough how good the food was, outstanding. Asked the lady for recommendations and they was all lovely, she home cooks everything! Proper Caribbean food. I’ll be back 😊

It was really shocking , the portions was too less and the delivery was too late. Paying 30 odd pounds for 4 portions is absolutely disgusting. I’ll never order from Pixis again , just want my money back. Really gutted.

Food is good. You have to order four hours in advance. I’m confused as to why it can take so long to cook rice, chicken and beef. If you ring up to see where the food is they will tell you “it’s just round the corner” or “15 minutes away” that means it’s hours away. If you don’t believe this review, order and see.

Order 4 hours ahead of when you actually want the food for. The food is amazing but the wait is awful.

Great food but don’t order if you’re hungry, I’d probably suggest you order a good 2-3 hours before you expect to get hungry. Its not the first time that I’ve rang up over an hour after my order has been accepted only to be told by the restaurant that they’ve just got to my order due to being busy, and that’ll it’ll be another 45mins - 1hr. I don’t doubt that the food will taste when great when it gets here, hopefully in time for breakfast. They also don’t apologise when this happens, just ask “do you still want it?” - all that aside, I’m sure they’re lovely, maybe just not very quick or great on the phone. Would suggest pick up if you’re hungry. Onwards and upwards pixies.

Delivery service is diabolical- almost two hours ago and still not delivered! Very very poor

Order placed at 6.30pm. Currently 8.15pm order has still not arrived, even though the delivery tracker says it has been delivered. Rang restaurant at 7.40pm they said it would be 15 minutes…..

Food is always good from here! The only thing that lets them down is their opening times. On multiple occasions I’ve tried to order around 9pm and they’ve closed even though on justeat and google it says they shut at 10pm.

Hate to do this but the last 3 orders have been 👎. Missing items, late delivery, poor quality. I will focus on tonight’s. Missing items again, 90 minutes late, poorly packaged food meaning explosions over other items. Items missing, late and had to chase. Adv over missing/damaged items. Got 1 missing item that was developing mould at the bottom. Only 1 damaged item (can) was replaced even though 3 damaged items were given to the driver bagged.

Went yesterday for curry goat banging. The portions were bang on loads of meat. The food tasted quality. Definitely going bk try the other bit on offer

ordered food at 17:35, to be told delivery would be between 18:15 and 18:35, it's now 20:30 and still not arrived asked for a text to check the status of the order at around 17:30, never received a reply, phoned and asked for an update at 20:00 was informed that it had just been made and was waiting for a driver. it's now 20:30 and still no food.

Food was decent but got half chips and rice and was spoon full of rice and no chips. Resent rice and chips 50 minutes later which was no point as ate r meal by then 👎 won’t b using again.

A colourful, bright place with on theme cheery music. A very small, cramped seating area with 8 seats to 2 small tables. I had the Medium Goat Curry with Rice and Peas. The goat was fall-apart, melt-in-the-mouth tender and succulent, but a little overly salty. The spicy curry was rich and full of flavour. Fluffy, tender, well-seasoned rice, but the beans were a bit mushy. Staff were efficient.

This is now officially my favourite place to order from. I've never had Rice and Peas this good in a very long time. The rice is seasoned so nicely and the grilled chicken is absolutely delicious! Healthy good food and I will definitely order this again. It's worth the wait time fir sure! Next time I order anything off Just Eat, it will be this place again.

I ordered my food at 8pm it turned up at 10.45 far too late to eat. First time I ordered was great so it’s a shame as it’s definitely put me off. Requested a refund still waiting to hear back as the food was freezing when it arrived. Not that I would want to eat at that time.

Shame I didn't get my half rice and pea but the meals was tasty and good foods quality. would of rate it 5 stars but I didn't get to taste the half rice and pea I didn't get so unfortunately I had to rate it 3 stars. Definitely ordering it again 👌

Food is 10/10 every time! One item was missing from the order but one quick phone call and within 10/15 mins we had the missing item delivered to the door piping hot! Amazing service as always.

Although somewhat late, the food was wonderful! The coleslaw is the best I've tasted in the UK! Pixie, if not already available, should make larger options available as option for side. I'll definitely be purchasing from them again as I've got more I would love to try from their menu. I'd also like to try the fried dumplings fresh so will have to visit in person for that as well. Absolutely the best thing I've had on offer from Just Eat.

I have changed my review rating from 5 to 2* I was promised a refund as they sent me the wrong order, I have waiting over 2 weeks for the refund and I still haven’t received it. It’s a shame as the food is great but I won’t be returning after well over 50+ orders here.

An hour and 40 minute wait for cold food. I ordered a large curried goat amd got 4 chunks of meat.. 1 slice of carrot and one cube of potatoe!! I’d been craving this for weeks so was so disappointed

Don't bother with delivery from any of their branches, they don't deliver and refuse to refund. The food is good, but make sure you COLLECT you order. Order placed 18:00, delivery time was changed 3 times and was supposedly delivered at 23:00, 1hr after they closed.

Would never order again curry goat was watery and flavourless, not authentic at all. And actually wasn’t even goat. Was lamb chops. Fries were the frozen kind. Not nice food. Had it before but thought I’d give another chance. Got worse!!

As soon as you walk in the staff are bubbly and full of positivity and bright conversation! You can tell they truly care about the business, which by the way, has INCREDIBLE food! I’ve been buying from them for years and they’ve even offered to do a special request for me to have multiple batches of my favourite dish of theirs to collect for freezing at home! Absolutely amazing service (and tasty cake), you can tell everything is homemade and made with love. I couldn’t recommend Pixi’s Warrington more honestly, love it every single time

Food ordered at 1850H for delivery. Estimated delivery time 1940H. Partner phoned them at 2020H when food had not arrived. Informed only 2 delivery drivers, the food had been cooked and was sat waiting to be delivered on the next delivery run. My partner asked if the food would be cold and still OK and was assured that it was in an insulated bag. The food turned up at just gone 2100H. It was all cold. The fries were soggy and some were undercooked, the burger and bun were soggy, the hash brown was missing, the drink was missing, the salad was missing, the jerk sauce was bland. My mango and lime chicken curry tasted of neither and actually tasted like chip shop curry sauce. I only wish we had looked at more reviews as it looks issues with delayed delivery are not a new. The food was pretty much inedible and ordering from them was a waste of time and money and ruined our evening. Absolutely never again and I will advise anyone I know not to order from them either.

My Mango and lime chicken curry tasted of neither and actually tasted of chip shop curry sauce My partners jerk chicken burger was completely soggy as it had been sat steaming away it it's wrapper for so long. Her drink was missing, her salad was missing, her hash brown was missing. Her fries were soggy too and some were undercooked. She couldn't eat it. We wish we had looked at the reviews as it appears massive waits for delivery are an ongoing issue present for months. If they had been honest about delivery time I wouldn't have minded and would have either ordered on another day or collected but this experience left a bad taste in the mouth (literally, and sorry about the pun). Basically awful food with parts of the order missing that takes hours to arrive. I would suggest avoiding this place like the plague.

Met j j in a shop in Warrington,,,he invited me down to his takeaway (or eat in) N he gave me few samples (goat curry jerk mac n cheese... Went there nxt time i was in area N i had goat curry+chicken strips... Omg it was utterly delicious 10/10 at least... Can't wait to go there again 😋😋😋😋😋😋🤞

Really enjoyed my selection from Pixi’s. My experience was made even more special when I upwrapped the vegetable patty to find out it was homemade! The pastry was thick and delicious and filling a tasty surprise. Festival was incredible, as were the plantain and rice and peas. Thank you.

Food said to be delivered 7:30 turned up nearly 2 hours later, food wasn’t hot and chicken was bone dry and chips were soggy! Most of it went in the bin! I would like a full refund

Food was nice but the delivery was absolutely shocking. Over 2 hours to deliver and it was like they hadn’t started when I chased after 2 hours. For takeaway it was tasty but the delivery was too late.

Order was marked as delivered at least 20 mins before it was delivered and when it arrived it was cold. I can’t say if it would have been nice hot but the food was very average.

food was 1hr 20 late, had an item missing, was so cold it was all thrown away apart from the cake which was consumed and was good apparently. spent the £ best part of £30.00 to be served up probably the most substandard meal ive ever eaten. its a shame as ive used a few times and its been good but after tonights experience i wont be using again

food here used to be exceptional and I raved about it in the past however the last 3 orders have just not met expectations. I'm unsure why standards have dropped but the quality is just not there anymore. The biggest kicker is that the delivery as the last few deliveries have been over an hour late, which is just unacceptable; and has happened too many time for us to want to order from here again - which is a desperate shame

Been to most carribeans in Manchester so decid to go over to Warrington.. this place did not disappoint. Excellent food ,staff and atmosphere.. would 100% recommend. That banana cake is the one trust me

Terrible service, food ordered at 5:50pm and turns up at 8:15pm. When we first rang the takeaway we was put on hold for 10 minutes, when we rang back we was told the food should be with us soon, no apologies for the lateness… extremely unprofessional. When the food arrived it wasn’t what we ordered either and the chips tasted like they had been reheated. Don’t waste your money. Must be new management as we used to love ordering from here but will not be again.

Food is great and used to be brilliant - now food is precooked days in advance and arrived cold as stone after a 2 hour wait. Suck a shame - grown to big and forgotten about the basics.

I love this place. Tried it for the first time today with my friend, the food was great and the atmosphere and customer service was even better.

UPDATE - as of December 2023 delivery still takes 3 hours. Don't be fooled by them saying its improved. If anyone else reads the replies to previous reviews claiming delivery speeds are much better and gets their hopes up - please don't bother. We ordered twice and waited 2 hours plus both times. Decided never to bother again but I saw the replies from the owner saying how much better it now was and took another punt. Website said 50 minutes delivery... Phoned after an hour and 20 and was told the food hadn't even been started so it'd be at least another 45 minutes. Knowing Pixis I assumed that meant another 90 minutes at least so I asked them to cancel the order and refund the money. 2 weeks later I've still not got it and have had to get company who power their website to chase it on my behalf. Worse than ever and will definitely be the last time I bother.

A fantastic little place. Small seating area or takeout and delivery. The food is delicious, bursting with flavour. I would highly recommend the goat curry, lamb chops, home made punch and homemade Jersey sauce. Amazing. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much trouble.

Beautiful food and friendly, welcoming staff. The goat curry was perfect, as were the jerk lamb chops - full of the most marvellous of flavour and succulent enough to fall of the bone. The home-made jerk sauce added an extra element to the dishes too and the home-made punch was incredible - a real taste explosion. We can't recommend enough.

Food is fantastic, as always. Recommend the goat curry, chicken curry and the jerk burger. Really nice to see there is a small eating area inside the shop too so you can eat in.

Ordered the on-bone oxtail with rice and peas. The oxtail was succulent, juicy and loosey goosey. Literally fall-of-the-bone in the comfort of my own home. Savory and spiced, just oh so nice. The rice and peas had me sufficiently pleased. Everything 10/10, will definitely order again.

Whenever I order takeout, this is my go-to place. It's always soooo good.

I got a take away for lunch today and was not disappointed at all. Had a wrap with rice and chips, portion was really good and all parts of it where full of flavour. I got some chilli pickle and scotch bonnet as well so they really added to it Got a lovely cornflake tart for dessert as well. Really good all round and I will be going a again. A lot.

Outstanding food. If your in town at lunch time on a Friday or Saturday and want some real, tasty food. Forget paying a fortune in the market, get yourself here. I had the goat curry, with rice n pea, my daughter had the jerk chicken strips, with half n half. £6 each with a can! Some of the tastiest food I've had for a long time, and I love my food.

I went to pixies on Sunday night after a busy day I didn't feel like cooking. I actually won there competition and won 2 meats and 2 sides, I got jerked steak and fried chicken with rice and peas and chips, my partner got the same. I had to pay for his but there was a discount when I went to check out. Although the food wasn't ready when we went to pick up and had to wait and extra 15 mins, we got home and the food was piping hot and fresh. The food tasted so good and was well worth the wait and money. Very impressed 👍 would highly recommend
