never turned up phoned shop hour and a half after it should have been with me said it hasn't even been sent out plus don't have what I wanted so cancelled the order

Although delivery took a while so worth the wait food was full of flavour tasty and fresh delivery driver was lovely and apologetic about the wait will definitely order again or visit the restaurant it’s self

Waited over 2 hours for my order. The status was marked at delivered which it was not. Ask for an update to be told the courier was on the way. Waited another 45 minutes. Called the place 3 times and no answer. I have contacted to get my money refunded. Terrible service. Especially marking the order as delivered when it hasn't.

Food was ordered at 6.10pm and received a delivery notification of 6.45-7.05pm food has still not arrived. Spoke with the restaurant directly at 7.30 and they informed of delivery difficulties however assured me they would get the delivery to me by 8.10pm still not arrived at 8.20pm this is absolutely unacceptable Eventually arrived at 8.30pm

I didn't even get this order what a joke. they have done this now twice. Shame as the food is good but shocking delivery or none delivery

Can’t comment on the quality of the food as Iv order over an hour ago and it’s still not arrived. If the restaurant can’t deliver within the timeframe then they should lower the radius. Ridiculous

Food is gorgeous and delivery staff were polite!

Curry goat was old meat swimming in oil, inedible. Pattie was a cornish pastrie and burnt. Plantain was burn and soggy and the mac n cheese was just pasta with microwaved cheese on top. Pictures we have taken reflect all of this. Highly disappointed

Only 15mins late so not devastating. First time I’ve tried Jamaican food, fancied something a bit different from the normal takeaway order. Food was overall really tasty, I’d say the portion of chips was a bit on the small though but if that’s all I have to moan about (pretty good at moaning) then it must be decent

AVOID!!!!! I ordered my food at 19:20 tonight, on a Monday so definitely not peak time. I called up shortly after just to confirm with the store that they had received my order. The guy who answered took 5 minutes to let me know about whether my order had been received and when he advised that they did have my order it was not very convincing as he was tripping over his own words. 9pm arrived, still no food and so I rang the restaurant again, then I was met with stuttering answers once again and was told that due to a driver not showing up all orders were delayed, I asked for an ETA and was told it was on its way. 09:30pm and still no food, rang the restaurant and no answer. I rang one last time and was met with the rude, lying staff member again who then told me that they were waiting on a driver. Do not order from here, literally ripping people off!!!

All food was cold no taste awful will not be having again

I rent the restaurant nearly an hour after my delivery time and the lady said it’s still in the shop we’re waiting for driver, I said my food is going to be cold, anyways my order turned up over an hour late, it was stone cold with a thick layer of oil on top, was inedible so gave it to the dog 😔

I rang the shop numerous times and it took 2 1/2 hours to arrive. When it arrived the cake was missing and food was cold! Very disappointed

Rang the restaurant, no help. All they could tell me is that the food was on it's way. The app said it had been delivered for 20 minutes before the food actually arrived.

it was very late but to be fare it was directed to Warrington branch I live in knowsley I rang up and complained and it was changed to st Helens branch so that's why it was late....but the food was amazing.... rice peas✅ ox tail on the bone with a sauce✅ dumplings✅ and vegetable pattie✅. deffo be back for more 👍

Take away ordered at 4.30, due for delivery 5.10pm, FINALLY arrived 7.10pm after 2 chaser calls to Pixis. Food mainly cold & inedible, Pixis offered me £20 refund as delivery driver ‘thought’ my wrapped soggy food was hot through that sweaty plastic bag, trust me it wasn’t. I paid £55 for a 2 hour late, soggy, congealed cold takeaway..this is not acceptable. That’s the last time I order from Pixis, & certainly WONT BE RECOMMENDING TO ANYONE, avoid at all costs. Poor service, worse food.

£20 minimum order, £5 extra minimum charge, drink cost me nearly another £5 and never even arrived in my order. They must have forgot it or something. Took an hour and 40 mins to get here. Only delivered half of the meal. We called up and he said there’s not much he can do as the machine is turned off. So now my other meal is going cold whilst my partner doesn’t have anything to eat. The food I did get was soggy and the box was that wet it fell apart. Ordered at 18.52pm, received order at 21.34pm. All the food was cold. Chips were soggy and steak was really fatty. Normally our order is delivered within a reasonable time and is great, but tonight has been really disappointing. Husband has thrown his beef loaded chips in the bin!!

Dont be put off by the bad reviews. So I travel to Warrington once a month and I'm always looking for a decent Halal place to eat. I'm a foodie so always on the hunt for somewhere I can call my top 5 places to eat in any town. I heard about Pixi's but to be honest the reviews online put me off because I didnt want to wait over an hour for food after a long days work. After a few recommendations from regulars I decided to head down and was amazed and all the meals on offer. I spoke to JJ (Pixi's son) who took the time to recommend suggestions based upon my preferences. I ordered the grilled chicken strips with homemade jerk sauce, jerk chicken wings, sweet potatoes fries and coleslaw. And because I had to try it, I also went for curry chicken, with rice a peas and chips. As I waited I chatted away to JJ, who although was flat out with online orders coming in every few mins made the time to make me feel welcomed. You can instantly tell that he has a passion for his brand and his brothers work tirelessly getting all the orders ready for delivery. I didnt have to wait too long and took the food back to the hotel. All I can say now is, the food is DEFINITELY worth the wait. All authentic, great flavours, all cooked properly with no raw meat or overcooked. It was so good I managed to finish it all in one sitting. That was probably the only negative thing about it, I over ate, but when food tastes that good you will finish it all. In conclusion, dont be put off by any of the negative reviews, good home cooked food isnt fast food McDonalds junk, so be patient and then "Refuel your body with healthy Jamaican food". I'm definitely going back next time I'm in town.

It's the first time I have ever ordered from pixies and the first time I've ever eaten curried goat!! Best thing I've ever eaten thank you so much for the food. I will definitely order again and will definitely recommend you to all my friends. 👍👍. Lovely

we placed the order on just eat it said delivery time between 2045 and 2105.at 2146 I phoned to find out were order was and was told it left ages ago and should be with me by 2155,2216 I phone back driver will be with you any minute,now 2230 and we are still waiting if and when the food does arrive I suspect that it will be ruined due to being cold,so now I'm just under £40 out of pocket

Food is mediocre at best, it’s a hint of carribean food nothing at all like others I’ve tried where you can taste the authentic Caribbean flavours. They also don’t send the jerk sauce advertised with the meal, so dry chicken, dry rice and dry chips 👍🏻. If you want to actually try some amazing, authentic Caribbean food try mama flo’s in Stockport 🤤

Missing items again as per, send meals with no sauces, spoke to the manager last time and was assured this will not happen again, 5 out of the last 6 times I’ve ordered from here the food has been sent with no sauce. Dry chicken rice n chips. binned

food was very nice cannot complain with flavour it was honestly brilliant. but I ordered the large oxtail and only had one bone of oxtail so I'm not sure what the extra was for

Absolutely terrible service we ordered food at 19.30 and spoke to the shop about our order twice with them saying it was on its way. It's now 22.10 and no food and the shop is closed We paid £53 for this order. It finally turned up at 22.20 and I have had to put it in the fridge it's to late to eat it now Sorry but we will not be ever using them again.

ordered from here for the first time after seeing it on social media at 6:10pm. the order was scheduled to arrive between 6:40pm and 7:00pm and at 6:55pm they called us to tell us they had no salmon which was fair enough but rather late and we opted for fried fish instead. we then waited a further 35 minutes for the order to arrive, a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes between ordering and receiving the food, bear in mind we don’t live far from the shop. we ordered a chicken strips & steak box which arrived with no steak so i called the shop and they got another box of steak with chips and rice sent out within 20 minutes with a fruit punch. the steak in the boxes was dry and the rice was bland. we also ordered a burger and paid for extra cheese with which it arrived with 0 cheese on. we made this order on a friends birthday and was very dissatisfied with the quality of the food, small portions and the mistakes.in all honesty i would not recommend here to anyone due to our experience.

After 12 months of not ordering from pixies we took the chance and thought things might have changed but unfortunately not! We placed order at 19.30 and I am sat here at 21.50 still with NO food. We paid £53 for this order and nothing I have to be in bed soon for a 6.30 get up for work.... Pixies if you can't fulfill a order don't except it it's not good practice to make your customers wait hours after hours ....Sadly we will never be using you again however good your food

Stumbled across this place randomly and the owner gave me the menu, can’t say enough how good the food was, outstanding. Asked the lady for recommendations and they was all lovely, she home cooks everything! Proper Caribbean food. I’ll be back 😊
