The best restaurants in Bewsey and Whitecross Warrington North West

Went in the day with a friend and had fish & chips which was fabulous. Ordered Indian takeaway for 2. Good price. However had vegetable rogan josh which is supposed to be mild (marked as one chilli). It arrived 1/2 hr late and give them there due they did call me. The food was way too hot and spicy to eat. Today I added a tin of coconut milk and its still to hot to eat. So not impressed at all. I have eaten rogan josh for years and that was nothing like it. The rest of the food was ok but nothing to write home about. Please get it right

We waited nearly 3 hours to receive our order! We have ordered from Cafe at the End of the Universe countless times and never once been disappointed or let down by their food or service, until last night when we waited close to 3 hours to receive our food. I understand how busy a Friday night would be (ordered at 7.15pm) and so we expected the wait time to be 1/1.5hour. However, to have to contact them twice to ask where our food was extremely disappointing. The first time we rang (8.30pm) we had to wait whilst they tried to locate our order number which didn’t fill us with confidence and we were told our food was next and will be delivered soon. The second time we rang (9.45pm) we were told there was a delay in the kitchen. When we received our food it wasn’t as if it was piping hot, it was warm and to be honest one of the burgers looked like it had been thrown together quickly (half of it in the box rather than on the burger bun). This shockingly poor experience has left us severely disheartened & ultimately just disappointed in this business which we had loved before this happened. We should not have to wait nearly 3 hours to receive our order! I can’t say we are in a rush to eat from here again.

Absolutely amazing food , the best tapas I’ve had here in the uk! Staff are amazing and friendly too. Me and my partner had quite a few dishes, to which we even got a well done from the lady serving , it was too good to leave! Would highly recommend. Thank you las ramblas 😊

The Cardamon used to offer quite tasty and ell presented curries but sadly the latest effort - a prawn methi was both tasteless and swimming in oil. The boiled rice probably has more taste in it! Naan bread was leathery. A great shame as it used to be a good place.

Tried the potato Rosti with bacon and it was delicious! Will definitely be back !!

Probably best indian in Warrington, with good food and great staff. Sadly "we" let it down. What happened to courtesy and etiquette? Why does going to an Indian determine its ok to shout and swear? Thank fully I got a booth, next time I'll take ear plugs

We visited as a group of 14 for a hen party on a busy Friday evening. Zeytin helped with our booking, pre orders, allowed us to decorate our table with balloons and accessories and gave our bride to be a fabulous welcome. The food was delicious, service was first class and nothing was too much trouble. All 14 starters and main meals came out seamlessly and staff were attentive with drinks. Thank you so much for a great evening!

Not only was the food wonderful, but so was the team. They were so friendly and made us most welcome. We’ve already been back and it was just as good the second time.

I visit Rhode Island coffee in Warrington weekly. The staff are friendly and chatty. The shop is clean and tucked away in a quiet corner of the Golden Square precinct. Coffee is great. Wi-Fi works very well. You can gain points on every visit to redeem a free coffee in the future.

We hired the grand exclusively for my 40th birthday party on a Saturday in May. It was amazing. Ellie from the start helped me organise the party. She arranged the DJ (DJ Ali) and recommended everything platters who done our catering. My friend also made me a 40 and we got some balloons from Pentangle in latchford to match their gold navy and white balloon display. I think it looked amazing. We wanted exclusive hire because my son is 14 and I wanted him there but also my family would be traveling 200 miles so there would be a number of kids there. The venue is perfect bar in the centre stage for the DJ and a great dance floor. We did need to get the music volume down because you couldn’t hold a conversation but I wasn’t complaining 🤣 just dancing all night. The deal with exclusive venue was to have I think 100 people in by 8:30. I had over that but it was so warm in the bar (heatwave weather) loads of them about 50 were all drinking and chatting outside (possibly because of volume too). I did have to usher them all in otherwise it would have then opened to public. It was quick service at the bar no one complained. Toilets are super clean, venue was sparkling when we arrived. Would I do it all again 100% it was also only a £100 deposit to secure the night. Honestly one of the best night I’ve had to date bar my wedding it was that special… the bar staff all had a whale of a time and the security guards even got involved with the glow sticks and glow up glasses! Best night thanks guy 💕

Came here the Saturday of the Bank Holiday weekend. The food was incredible, staff absolutely fantastic, fab atmosphere. The flavours of everything we had was just divine. Can't wait to return.
