Fantastic, friendly & inviting cafe. Staff are helpful, polite and service is fast. The vanilla latte is just delicious and I must say the vegan banana bread is absolutely delicious absolutely tasty! Definitely worth a try! Such a charming, inviting, warm cafe.

Despite it stating here that they do, and having done so for many years, they have stopped selling any gluten free products! One staff member told me they did, but at the till i was informed they do nothing 😡. Despite there being plenty of options for vegans which is a dietary CHOICE. Staff quite rude and dismissive about it will not be comming here again.

Been here once prior and had a great experience. Today, lots of tables dirty and uncleared. Chose a sandwich and when it arrived half ingredients in said sandwich were missing. Chose another one but was charged the extra for new sandwich, despite the inconvenience. Coffee was weak and luke warm. Hubby had soup and this was served with a dirty spoon. Spent more time up going back than sitting and relaxing. Sad really as previously was a great place to stop for coffee /lunch. Disappointing.

The nicest place you can go for any food or any drinks! The place is beautiful and the staff are lovely. Whenever i’m out in warrington and want food this is my go to place. Always a seat to sit at and quick service! Love love love.

Not been on town for a while. Had to come back for our favourite coffee. The new addition of a sea salt and chocolate cookie was a delight. As ever it was impeccable service. Keep it up you lovely folk!

The staff are always friendly but 0ver the last few visits the coffee and hot chocolate were decidedly weak. Couldn’t finish my Americano as it was too weak. Not a one off so not returning until word gets out they are using more coffee/ chocolate in their brew

I really needed to feed my 10 week old baby. It was 5pm and still the Lady allowed us to come in at closing time to feed her. They warmed her bottle and gave us 15 minutes to feed. Its rare any place would do that. Im grateful and I promise we will be back as customers in the future!!!

Stopped here to do some admin work. Coffee was amazing as was the feta and pepper panini. Excellent Wi-Fi connection.

I am a regular goer of Rhode Island Cafe Warrington and love every experience I have here. I am remembered by staff which goes a long way, and am always greeted like family. Warm and welcome atmosphere, and the best coffee around (the raspberry ruffle latte is mind blowing .) it makes my day chatting to the team here, and the lovely community vibe they make. Always very clean and covid safe too. Could not recommend them enough, 5/5 as always.

I absolutely love this coffee shop friendly staff meet you with a big smile on there faces shell and Jeanette are like the best a good chitter chatter as there doing your order of a large latte and 2 ,pieces of toast with jam also you can hear the boss Sam laughing and giggling which is so nice to hear makes you so welcomed and when you leave you always get a bye they go up and beyond nothing is too much for them this is why I go back every time I'm in town centre so if you've not been please go and check them ladies out and have a large latte and you may be like Me and always go back

Rhode Island Warrington opened its doors again for takeaways on Friday so thrilled after a depressing 4 weeks of lockdown to be greeted by Samantha and Michelle, the much awaited coffee tasted like nectar and can’t wait till weds when we can once again enjoy the fantastic atmosphere by sitting inside, socially distancing and remaining safe due to the fantastic effort of all the staff.I would also like to mention the efforts of Dave, who has made the shop look very festive, and well worth a visit to see the decorations and a tasty treat!

Great news, we had our Saturday morning coffee and toast earlier today. The coffee shop is now open for takeaways and will be fully open again for business on Wednesday 02nd December 08.00am. Great news and good luck to all the staff.

Came in first impressions busy and nice.saw some paninis on front counter reduced to 1.50 then heard staff member say reduce them to a pound she then took them into side room.showed my voucher and she brought out a panini a drink n small choc bar.all worth aoround £2.50.a lot less than £3 odd I paid too good to go

There are some cafes that don’t feel safe but Rhode Island isn’t one of them which is why I still visit . The staff are a friendly bunch and they take your safety seriously . All necessary measures to keep you safe and clean are taken so it’s business as usual . Besides all that it’s the best brew in town and if it’s a cuppa , with or without snacks all effort is made to make you comfortable and safe for your enjoyment .

This is my favourite coffee shop in Warrington and my go to whenever I have a spare hour or two, the staff are amazing and very welcoming.

Poor customer service from staff, very rude! I was shouted at when not wearing a mask as i was about to sit down to eat. When table was not cleared before we sat down and we were asked to remove a tray that was previously at our table. Will not visit again!

I attend daily for my extra hot latte which is wonderful and sets me up for the day, so pleased that it is now up and running and the team have made a tremendous effort to safe distant customers and staff, feel very comfortable and safe visiting for my usual fix, and it’s really nice to see the rest of the staff returning, Jeanette and Ange, to alongside the other staff that I have mentioned in previous reviews, well done Rhode Island team Warrington!

with the hot weather upon us decided to cool off with a flavoured frappe. The selection of flavours was substantial. I tried the oreo frappe and it was delicious. Cant thank the very helpful and welcoming staff enough.

It's the simple things in life...it felt so good to be able to go sit down at my fave place during my lunch break,brings a little normal back to my life. Even though Rhode Island was extremely busy(which speaks volumes, clearly I'm not the only one who missed this place), I did get to sit in and enjoy my tasty flat white which was just the switch off i needed to a hectic day,the staff had a lot on their hands but still managed to put their personal and professional touch to my coffee, despite their busy day they staff couldn't have handled it it any better, you could see they where happy to be back at work and welcomed every customer back which is very nice, I smiled going in and smiled leaving. It's the only coffee facility in town that you're able to sit in yet and it just makes it so much nicer in these times, the staff and management are doing amazing at keeping on top of everything from excellent customer service to proper hygiene standards, great work Rhode Island team, happy to be back at my fave place and best of luck from here forward and here's to many more flat whites made work love!!!!

We arrived at coffee shop at 16.05 and was met with a very sharp and abrupt. Sorry we now close at 4 without even a what can we do for you or is it take out . We have been waiting for my once favorite coffee shop to re open but after that I couldn't care less if they survive rude staff you would think they would want to go the extra inch as they have been off for weeks . Anyway I went to the burger caravan on the square very friendly and the coffee was top notch and a lot hotter than Rhode island so .Rhode island close when you want its your call I ain't bothered

Our first visit to Warrington town centre since re-opening, the highliaht was seeing that Rhode island coffee was open. Great staff, great coffee. Will be back and hopefully for a sit down when back to the new normal!

I love this place and the coffee and have used it fairly regularly for five years.They have a high turnover of staff though.The only drawback for me, and it's a major one, is the length of time it takes to get served, even when the staff outnumber the customers!When it's busy I go to Cafe Nero across the square, only two staff but service is always quick and friendly.If Rhode Island could sort out the speed of service I would happily rate it five star.

You walk it and the vibes are legit off the wall, it’s such a nice cozy atmosphere it’s like walking into your chill mums house, like everyone there was so friendly and nice, it was the first time I’d been and it was like I’d been friends with the staff for years! Like everyone has such good vibes it’s the best cafe I’ve been to in my life, and don’t even get me started on the food it’s was 12/10 v tasty it’s like being at your best friends house and you’re just chillin the decor is so cozy and it’s like a coffee shop that you see in like a rom-com everyone is just vibing it’s really good and if you’re reading this you should go there ✌️

Make a few family trips the UK and Rhode island coffee is always on the list for us. Even though we always have a tasty lunch my sweet tooth gets the better of me every time and I always sample a new cake, muffin or brownie, I'm not a tea/coffee drinker i tend to stick for the hot choc but my family can't fault their coffee so coffee addicts and tea lovers take note. The staff are amazing here, so welcoming and super friendly so the atmosphere is always enjoyable, Samantha the manager makes a point of holding great customer loyalty as every time we visit we know she's genuinely pleased that we love coming back to a great wee place, she makes our experience feel valued and welcomed, while shes evenly friendly and professional shes also mad craic (must be the irish in her)Can't wait for our next visit in the summer.

I have been coming to Rhode Island since it opened 18 years ago. There are plenty of competitors in town but I return here every week as they have something special. Not only do they have the best coffee in town, they have the best team working there.

You can be hooked on Rhode Islands coffee. I pop in most days, always receive a welcome smile and greeting that goes nicely with the warm friendly atmosphere.

Went into Rhode Island today with some friends for a coffee & some dinner. The staff are always so friendly & helpful, love the deco & the coffee is delicious. The only thing that let's it down was my friends had dinner but the only thing I could have was a biscuit because there wasn't anything gluten free.

There are plenty of coffee shops, but this is pleasant, comfortable, clean, has a great ambiance, and above all has really friendly and efficient staff. Apart from the drinks, serves a good variety of snacks, cakes, sandwiches etc. Eat in or outside. Very enjoyable experience. Open from 07:30.

We’d been to the Eric Tucker exhibition at the museum and gallery and just wanted a coffee and light bite before heading back home. Reluctant to go to the usual Starbucks or Costa this place was a real find. You walk in and the space is large but it’s made to feel cosy by the layout. Lots of the usual cakes on display and then a couple of walls of books lined the way round the corner to more seating area. People were there just spending time with each other, mums having a catch up whilst their babies played ,couples sharing stories and talking rather than on their phones.

I have been go to Rhode Island Coffee since it opened as Rhode Island 18 years ago. It is without doubt the best coffee house in Warrington. The place clean, warm, comfortable and friendly. Their coffee is excellent as well as the other food and refreshments that can be purchased. The staff are all very friendly and sociable. Rhode Island is that popular that TV celebrities from both the BBC and ITV as well as the Antiques Road Show and other antique programmes on TV have been visitors to Rhode Island. Now that speaks for itself. I am personally responsible for starting the Book collection where you can take books free of charge. R.Leigh.

I visit the cafe weekly as it located in the heart of town centre where I meet a lot of clients and contacts in my job. It’s always a great place to do business and the Wifi enables me to email etc out of office. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and everyone I meet there comments on the quality of the customer service, product and environment. Well worth a visit both socially and professionally when in Warrington Town Centre. Keep up the good work guys

Excellent coffee (a chocolaty Colombian style roast), great staff and a cracking location in the corner of Golden Square. Lots of indoor seats and half a dozen tables in relative seclusion outside. My wife tells me the cakes are lovely too. Highly recommended.

Rhode Island Coffee Shop have two of my favourite things, coffee and books. Their coffee and desserts are amazing and so is their massive bookcase. I love it! The customer service is spot on too, you really feel welcomed at the Rhode Island Coffee Shop. They greet you when you come in and also when you leave - it’s very nice.

Always a popular coffee shop in a great corner in the Old Market. Rhode island has been here years and slowly but surely, the other units in the old market area are turning into restaurants. This makes/will makes a great forecourt area for food and drinks away from the Mall and Rhode Island leads the way.

A lovely getaway for a nice cup of coffee or tea in an incredibly friendly setting. Easily the best place in town for a cup of coffee in terms of quality but also one of a kind when it comes to the staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy location to sit down and enjoy a drink.
