Ordered the shakshuka for brunch and it was DELICIOUS! One of the best brekkies I’ve had in the area. Generous serve with a good combination of flavour and the sourdough bread in the side was so fresh. Great coffee and friendly service. Will be back!

As a vegan, it's not that easy to find good places in Perth that not only have more than one vegan item, but also have great vegan food. The tofu scramble at Secondeli has won my best in Australia award! Highly recommended.

Dropped in as they are open later than most cafes. Good for a late lunch. Kitchen is open until 230pm. Ordered the chicken salad and it was great. Generous servings, friendly staff, will definitely go again.

Secondeli Cafe, the cosy cafe located at Mt Lawley near IGA. The food is delicious and the coffee is good. Bread is rather unique. The cakes look nice and will try them next time. There are plenty of tables and chairs and service is attentive as well.

Not a bad set up for a cafe with indoor and al fresco seating and a separate window perfect for takeaway food and coffee. The coffee is very good and the cakes are also delicious with the sticky date pudding moist and light, and the brownie densely chocolatey. The scones, too, are nice baked treats but severely let down by the cheap jam and small amount of canned whipping cream that spreads really thin and almost runny on the scone. We also tried the brunch menu recently with the Shashuka that had overcooked solid poached eggs and bearnaise that didn't go well, and Steak Sandwich that tasted very ordinary. Service was OK, and it's a comfy place to grab a coffee and food.

My husband and I had a pretty disappointing experience. We got rudely told off by staff after my husband gave our table number- the one on the table with the WR code. Apparently this was wrong and he was meant to get a number from the counter. They were really pissed off about it, despite our apologies and running in to get the other table number. It soured the experience. The food was also not great, my husband’s waffles were dry and absolutely covered in mayonnaise, he spent most of the time trying to scrape it off. Chicken overcooked. I had the Asian mushrooms. The components were tasty enough but didn’t really fit together. The mushrooms and salad were drenched in too much dressing. It was still nice to sit out in the sun, but I don’t think we will come back. Not sure if Secondeli is under new management? Shame as we used to visit often.

I don’t ever write super negative reviews because I know how damaging it can be for the business, however I strongly do not recommend Secondeli. This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star yet I had to give it 1 just so I could leave a review to save everyone else from wasting their time at this place. Not sure if the owners of this place has changed, but it’s not cheap and I paid for food to come out that looked like it had already been eaten. The shashuka I ordered was not even filled to the top, merely just half filled with the sauce and didn’t even come with the egg and sausage. Had to send this back to the kitchen because they “forgot” the main ingredients. Both my shashuka and partner’s panini was cold, not to mention the bread of the panini was stale. Food already took over an hour to come out, and coffees were cold and watery. I tried to raise this with the staff and they were nonchalant and unhelpful. Save your money and go elsewhere!

This entire dining experience at this place was pitiful. I would save my money and go somewhere else. I got the shaksuka asking them to substitute the sausages with mushroom, the lady at the counter assured me that this would be done. When my dish finally came, there was no mushroom. And I thought it was a bit strange that my dish was only half filled in the bowl It came out in??? I went back to the counter and showed the lady there was no mushroom in. She said that they would make a replacement one for me. I waited and waited. Eating out with my son is an experience that I cherish, and this place has ruined my lunch with my son today. He sat there watching me wait for my meal while he was eating his. 15 minutes later I went back to the counter and asked the lady about my dish and she said it’s coming. In the meantime, I saw another shakshuka being taken out, and it was filled to the top with an egg and garnish! I went back to the lady said my son has almost finished his meal and I want my refund. I don’t want the dish anymore. Again she said it’s coming. I sat there for another 15 minutes waiting for my dish watching other dishes go out to other tables. This place has really left a bad taste in my mouth to say the least. I regret going here and I will never go back here ever again..

Horrible. Food was mid at very best, cold steak sandwich which was very underwhelming. Service was horrible and staff were not helpful at all.

Disappointed I was discriminated against for having a pram with me for my 6 month old to be told prams were not allowed inside on weekends. Nothing mentioned on there website, needless to say I won't be going back there!

I am disappointed with the tomato ham and cheese toastie. Barely toasted it looks like a sandwich. The coffee was nice though.

Small corner Cafe, some indoor and outdoor seating. Very casual menu, simple but easy. Food was decent. Limited seating for groups.

Well. I pride myself on my mashed potato so let's take that as average (3) cooking. I tried their shashuka and I would rate it at 1.8. I would rate their green smoothie at 1.6. If I wanted to eat below average grub I would make it myself. Definitely won't be back.

Today I ordered a breakfast meal to share, on our table of eight people (we breakfast there every four weeks). It arrived and was an enormous meal. I needed to place half on my friend's plate. As the table was crowded, with no room to even put the spare plate on the table, I asked if the kitchen would halve it for us. They said it was their policy that meals couldn't go back into the kitchen once they'd been served. What??!! Absurd, right? But if that's so, why didn't they do it in the kitchen in the first place?

Popped into this place, Tuesday for lunch and to do a bit of work. I must say the staff, particularly the young woman behind the counter had customer service down to an art. Friendly, engaging and warm. The food was great and I really enjoyed it. Coffee, absolutely awesome. I imagine you guys get super busy at the weekend lol I was lucky to go at a quieter time. A complete, worthy cafe experience.

Love this place! I have never had a bad coffee from here always consistently good. Have eaten here for breakfast and lunch , food was yum and the pricing is competitive for the area. Would recommend stopping by.

So glad we stopped by to experience this great Cafe...warm atmosphere, friendly staff, efficient service and came here for breakfast, food was delicious even had to take home cake from the cabinet for afternoon tea. Excellent food that's reasonably priced with staff that are polite and happy. The staff always have a smile for their customers.

Just had breakfast here and when I walked through to the bathroom at the back not one member of the kitchen staff was wearing a mask, that included the staff preparing the food. Didn’t even have a mask on them at all, I had just finished eating and it made me feel sick to my stomach. 4 people in the kitchen not following health directives shows that management is clearly not taking public health seriously. Gross!

Got a brekky bagel and toastie delivered via uber eats. The bagel was soaked in oil. It was literally dripping the bagel was literally wet with oil. Was completely unedible and had to be thrown out.

My go to for coffee. I will go out of my way to go there. Perfectly made every time and all the staff are amazing. Friendly, efficient and remember my order.

A diamond in the heart of the community serving home made dishes on the specials menu each day , lots of choices and with an open kitchen all prepared to a high standard of 5 stars Friendly staff , welcoming surroundings and great to see all ages eating together value for money at £3.50 each , £2 for desserts and hot drinks £1

Have shopped across the road at 2nd Ave IGA for years and somehow never been here! Why!!! From the very impressive sweet treats in the cabinet to the substantial menu offerings, this place is a winner. Add to that the excellent service, coffee and portion size and we have a real contender on the vast 'Beafort Strip'. Parking can be a challenge, but take it easy and you'll be glad you went. 5 stars. Shakshuka + Hash Browns.

Good Cafe to sit and relax, staff are friendly order inside and they deliver to the table. Coffee is very good and the sweets not too bad either, and I don't like sweets!

Bought a coffee from the take away window. The cup was wrapped in a napkin, so I didn't realise how hot it was. Took a gulp and burnt my tongue and roof of my mouth. Painful for days. Never going there again.

Super impressed with this small cafe (blink and you'd miss it along Beaufort St)... crushed avo was so yummy; poached eggs on GF toast with fried halloumi was just as good. Hollandaise sauce was a bit sketchy (store bought?) but the coffee well and truly made up for it. Service is friendly, helpful and fast. Can't believe we waited so long to try this place.

The basic ham, cheese and tomato toastie was a slacker's offering. Take pride, even in the simple stuff!

2.5 out of 5. Hash browns underdone. Avocado “toast” was rather bland, including the feta. Mushrooms too underdone. Been here twice, same deal both times.

Had crushed avocado for brekkie. It's a nice little Cafe. Good and handy location. Nice staff. We loved the food. Cafe design is so nice and relaxing with a view over Street. Order was quick. No big wait. Just the tables were a bit small. Recommended.

Best coffee for miles around…..I’d even say in Mt Lawley too. Ordering thru the outside window is easy and they also have a loyalty card. Parking can be a pain but the coffee is worth it. 🤷‍♂️

By far the best cafe in Perth! Coffee is always exquisite, no matter the time of day. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

After the recent flooding in Warrington the wonderful staff of this cafe have cooked meals and handed out hot drinks to all those affected locally. The food is delicious. Home made, very tasty and plentiful. We have been calling in to order lunch nearly every day and it has always been ready for us to collect. Or they will deliver. It's well worth a visit. You are guaranteed a warm welcome.

EXCELLENT. Good friendly service, coffee is delicious, breakfast is big and well served. Avocado mash is really excellent. Burger is good size and good for those mornings after a beer or two...

Usually great service and food but this time the forgot our order and after waiting for 45 minutes and asking the waitress to ask about our meals, we approached the counter to be told that there was going to be another 10 minute wait. Thats 55 minutes for a salad. Cancelled the order and went without lunch because we didnt have the time to wait in our lunch break. Pretty disappointing.

Second Deli just went to number One!!! Wowmazing brunch!!

Do not order from Uber eats. My food came absolutely trashed and cold. The toast for my eggs Benedict was so cold and completely soggy. The hollandaise sauce was smeared across the container so there was none left to eat on the eggs Benedict. The pancakes aren’t even pancakes- they’re two big chunky lumps of sweet bread. I couldn’t even believe it. Neither could my toddler who waited for these to come. What a waste of money. I spent $50 this morning trying out a new breakfast spot and my experience confirms why I never stray away from my usual places. Also paid $8 for a small glass bottle worth 5 sips of juice. You could tell my food sat on their counter getting cold for quite a while. It came THAT cold and soggy. Not an ounce of warmth. Extremely disappointed

Secondeli Cafe: Coffee is good, and the staff members are professional & attentive. Interesting decor and pleasant ambience; anytime I've ever been there the experience has been positive. Worth a visit if you're in the Mount Lawley area. Slainte!

The coffee at this cafe is amazing. My wife visits a couple of times a week for her regular toast and hony and goes back for her iced coffee for the drive home to Mandurah. I had a muffin today which was awesome. Thanks guys.

Secondeli has been a local Cafe to us since its inception to the corner of Second & Beaufort. We are glad to call this place home which such an establishment in Mount Lawley and they make a great Long Mac too!

Great vibe at 2:30 in the afternoon, packed with diners, pleasant staff and delicious food. The waffle was fantastic, just a subtle sweetness that encouraged me to eat it all.. The coffee was good too.

Food was great and staff friendly

I came here last week with my baby (in a pram) and my mother. I was stopped at the door by one of the waitresses who told me "I was not allowed to come in with my pram". I was so shocked I asked her to repeat what she had just said - I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER WITH A PRAM!! I explained to the waitress that what she just said was discrimination and she just blankly stared at me, then said I could eat outside (it is the middle of winter and I have a baby). I refused to do that and left. I am absolutely disgusted that this place discriminates against mothers and their babies. Cafes should be able to accommodate people from all walks of life: whether that be people in wheelchairs or mothers with prams, or anyone. I had planned to place a large brunch order as we were there to celebrate a milestone... so we took our business elsewhere and I will never return. Shame on you Second Deli for discriminating against a mother with her baby.

Soy milk coffee has been lumpy twice now.

I won’t get coffee anywhere else, and the raspberry and white chocolate muffins are awesome as well as the people who work there.
