The best restaurants in Bewsey and Whitecross Warrington North West

I am not one for writing reviews, but given my exceptional customer experience at Cafe Blu, I decided to make an exception to the rule. From the offset, everybody at the Cafe was friendly, down-to-earth and very welcoming. I didn’t have any cash on me and had to pay by card/phone, however there was a hiccup with the payment going through. To my astonishment, this was resolved swiftly, and in a manner that I have never experienced before...anywhere. Thanks again for that. I ordered a bacon and egg on toast that was cooked to perfection. The egg was lovely and runny and the bacon was perfectly cooked and not too fatty. I have had similar butties from other establishments that have gone straight in the bin. This one was cooked to perfection. I honestly cant recommend this Cafe enough. Whilst waiting for my sarnie to be cooked, I briefly chatted with a pleasant young lady who I believe is the niece of the proprietors. She took time out to explain what's on offer, menu-wise, and how they are pro-actively looking for new ideas/recipes to accommodate their customer requirements/pallet. Get yourself down to Cafe Blu or order via ‘Just Eat’ – you won’t be disappointed!

What a great little bar . £2.50 for a pint of Guinness, and it's poured the right way , if you know ,You know . Fantastic staff can't fault them. Well done guys 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Very hospitable staff, I was greeted with a smile and a pleasant attitude. Clean, open eating area with plenty of seating available. Cooked fresh to order. A small bowl of soup is offered for while you wait, which was thick and very tasty. 1 Fish on Rice with salad, naan + chickpea soup. Other soup options were bean soup or okra soup. Well worth the money for the amount of good food. A spiced tomato flavoured charcoal-grilled full butterflied fish with 3 grilled tomatoes and half a lemon, lightly salted long-grain white rice with some kind of sweet rice-and-currant topping (not a clue what that is), a mixed salad (of cucumber, tomato, lettuce, pickled red cabbage, white onion and lemon wedges), large naan and chickpea soup (with lamb). A lot of meat on the fish, succulent and well cooked with great flavour. A decent portion of rice, flavoured well and very complimentary of the fish. Good, fresh mixed salad with great flavour and texture variety. Soft, stretchy, flavourful naan. Rich soup with great flavours, if a little oily from the meat. 2 Kebab On Rice With Beans And Okra (No.9) Kebabs were juicy and moreish, but deposited a fair amount of grease onto the rice beneath it which also soaked through the container. The freshly made naan was soft and chewy with a few crispy spots and good lightly salted flavour. The okra and beans were soft and smooth and both in rich sauces.

My daughter had her wedding meal here and the food was simply magnificent. The service superb,and Ella our hostess was incredible meeting every need or request.

I dare say: Dicks has the best coffee in Warrington. I grabbed a takeaway coffee from Dick’s near Warrington Central train station before work, and it kept me energized all day.

Came in here for a family Birthday on a Monday evenings with my wife and two young children (5+2). I was made to feel very welcome by the whole team. The food was great as expected and it was nice they were able to prepare pasta for the kids. They even brought a little birthday treat which was a lovely touch.

Just had a really pleasant evening at Vandal. Service was excellent and really pleasant and attentive. Burger and chips was great, the burger was huge!! Thanks guys

Food is always tasty and the portions are decent sizes. Would definitely recommend sharing a portion of chips because they're huge

First time we've been to Sakan and it won't be the last. We were made to feel very welcome in this lovely bistro. The food was absolutely delicious - We were spoiled for choice but went for the chicken shawarma wrap and a ciabatta with avacado, haloumi and mushrooms. Both were absolutely delicious. Service was really good, so friendly. A hidden gem!

I booked an Afternoon Tea experience for my Mum's birthday. We had an exceptional experience, from the booking process through to the service and the food on the day. Google said the restaurant was closed and I was worried that it would be, but what an experience, the hotel honoured our booking and we had the whole place to ourselves, it was fantastic, a private dining Afternoon Tea! The service was 5*, Phoebe and Lauren were very attentive. Phoebe created the best Almond milk Cappucino I had ever had, it was amazing. The sandwiches were so fresh and we asked for vegetarian, they were so tasty, as was the cake selection. I would HIGHLY recommend the Meridian and would certainly return again! Thank You!

Amazing authentic food freshly prepared and cooked whilst you wait. The owner /chef was really helpful regarding Gluten allergy and clearly knows food safety which was really positive and assuring. The food was cooked and ready in approx 10 minutes and you can pay by cash, contactless or bank transfer. The quality of food was excellent and tasted absolutely amazing! So good we went back the next day. Amazing food at a brilliant price! Definitely worth a try!

Beautiful cocktail bar. Friendly staff. Amazing DJs. would 10/10 recommend for venue hire for any kind of occasion!

Went in the day with a friend and had fish & chips which was fabulous. Ordered Indian takeaway for 2. Good price. However had vegetable rogan josh which is supposed to be mild (marked as one chilli). It arrived 1/2 hr late and give them there due they did call me. The food was way too hot and spicy to eat. Today I added a tin of coconut milk and its still to hot to eat. So not impressed at all. I have eaten rogan josh for years and that was nothing like it. The rest of the food was ok but nothing to write home about. Please get it right
