Pendergast's Steakhouse & Bar in Warrington

Took our Beagle with us for Sunday Lunch,he had a water bowl and little snack on the house. We had a fab u lous time, brilliant food and service that didn't break the bank. Can't recommend it too highly.👍

Arrived a tad late 5 mins after trying to find parking . Once inside we were told our table wasn't ready because of a walk in ! .. multiple 2 seat tables available?? .however we did get a lovely table . Now to ordering drinks . Pinot not available alternative suggested ... %percent beer of choice not available alternative suggested .. not a great start . Food was ordered fillet and ribeye . The fillet was the flattest slice ever seen and no way was 6 ounce . The rib eye was all fat, absolutely terrible. I hate to complain but needs must . The duty manager was apologetic and deducted from bill which we did appreciate. Will we return ...doubtfull

After visiting Pendergast’s for bottomless brunch on Saturday 3rd May and many times previously and loved it we felt really disappointed this time with our experience The bottomless brunch menu has changed. To our surprise most of the drinks have been taken off the menu & calamari and chicken wings leaving the rest of the menu quite frankly a let down (except for the sticky chilli chicken and onion rings which saved the day although a much smaller portion). The menu on the website still advertises the old menu with the items of food on it and cocktails which have been taken off which in my opinion is false advertisement. I would not have paid £35 pp if I knew this was the case. Such a shame to be told espresso martinis and the Penelope cocktails had been taken off as well as half the other drinks. There are much better value for money brunches in the town centre with more of an option now. Gutted because the Saturday DJ days are usually an event we look forwards to.

Lovely place and excellent attention and service. We both had fillet steaks both ordered medium however both we felt were more rare so not great for me but was ok. The steaks also were only just warm and we like hot food

I have to start of by saying how amazing the customer service is here , the gentleman where really helpful and had such a welcoming vibe. I’ve rated it average due to how poor are steak was . We come here for the steak and I had medium rare my partner has medium we was unsure who’s was who’s , it didn’t matter to us , but the quality of taste unfortunately for a steak was not there - so was disappointed at that as it’s a steak house. The starters were outstanding , we had the flatbread and the sticky chicken bites and they tasted wonderful. Loverly red wine I just didn’t want to give this place a bad review because everything else but the steak was outstanding . We just come here for the steak more than anything. We approached this at the end as they was more then happy to sort it out for us and they was more disappointed then we was when it was mentioned. But don’t let this put you off coming here as inside is stunning , great for a date night but error with the steak maybe just a one off

Went on a Saturday evening, exceptional service, even better food, all had steak 10/10, would definitely recommend, Will was our waiter who new his steaks Tip go in Tank bar before get the receipt and you get 10% off your bill at Pendergast

We went for a work lunch and one of my colleagues mentioned that the food was excellent but i was not expecting how good it was the steak was incredible and the service was also as first class as the food. I will definitely be going again and will recommended to family, friends and colleagues.

Went with my hubby to Prendergasts for a birthday meal. I could not fault anything both of us said it was one of the best steaks we've had so tender and juicy. The staff where really informative and a special mention for Tia who gave us good advice and made our experience great. Can't recommend enough will definitely be going again

We started to go to Pendergasts at the back end of 2023, and everytime we have been the service has. Been exceptional. The bar & waiting staff are very knowledgeable and are great at pairing their wine (of which there is a vast selection) with the dish you have ordered. The food quality is brilliant and portion sizes are just right with extras available to add to your pre-post meal (such as mini wine charcuterie toppers). If you haven't been for one of their wine tastings too you're missing out. For somebody who doesn't really have a clue about wine (such as me!) their sommelier & manager make the event crazily inclusive by going back to the basics for me but rounding it off with some more advanced knowledge for the rest of the group. Price wise all aspects of the venue are reasonably priced when you look at the quality of the service, food, drinks & events.

1st time to Pendergasts steak house in Warrington with my wife and from the start to finish the whole experience was amazing WILL looked after us as soon as we walked through the door to a beautiful restaurant and gave us great service throughout the whole time 👍 best steak we have ever tasted along with the lovely chips and 2 lovely sauces beef dripping 👍 flat bread amazing 👍 thank you WILL definitely be back 👍
