100% Recommend their lunch menu food! Was absolutely stunning! Our server JP was friendly and knowledgeable and also made the best espresso martini! Definitely worth the visit!

Our friendly team makes working here an absolute pleasure. I am a Guinness fanatic and we do serve one of, if not, the best Guinness in Warrington so this is my favourite place to drink too 💯

Visited Bold Street House after a meal in town, Have walked past this bar multiple times and never went in but glad we gave it a go this tike. It is a lovely bar with delicious cocktails. Staff are friendly. Highly recommend no matter the occasion!

Having been a fan of Bold Street House since it opened, we headed there yesterday, Friday late afternoon. Should have questioned the emptiness at that time. Smaller, limited menu perhaps understadable in these times of challenging overheads. But a 10% service charge " on parties of 2 or more"?? So, unless you plan to drink alone, expect a stealth increase of 10% on the price you see. Which is already a bit high..... Always came here for Warrington's best margarita, but at £9 (+10%!) it was weak and thin on the ground. Had 2 for £12 at G.o.S. beforehand, which were far superior. Feels like a great little bar we've always loved but won't now go back to .

Great Roast Dinner Couldn't Fault It And So Much . Lovely Staff And Will Be Back.

Not great. Walked in and there was only one other person in there so was expecting a quick in and out, however it took a good 35 minutes for our food to arrive. We ordered 3 dishes to share which we expected to come altogether, but there was a good 10 minute wait between each dish (this was after the initial 35 minute wait). If it was busy we would understand the wait but we were the only customers so it was a bit strange. The bacon and egg naan was actually really tasty, the halloumi ciabatta was pretty average, and the Nutella stuffed French toast was actually just filled with chocolate sauce and was very eggy. Paid an extra £2 for strawberry and banana which from the picture looked like it should come on the side but was inside the French toast so was warm and very scarce (there was probably not even a full strawberry and 3 slices of banana). Probably wouldn't return for food.

Absolutely the best Sunday lunch I've had in a long time. The weekday menu is great as well. Very kind and welcoming staff will definitely be back.

Came to meet friends for brunch last Sunday. Great, friendly place, fab menu and perfect coffee. I had a bin lid which was amazing! Can't wait to come back next time for the Sunday roast!

Lovely place, always recieve a great welcome from staff. We sat at the bar last night for Prosecco and the lady behind the bar was so friendly. A real asset to the business.

Lovely little cafe overlooking Palmyra Square. My Son and I called on for brunch and had bacon barms. Fresh barms with tasty bacon. We couldn't resist the chocolate muffins which were delicious. The food is reasonably priced and there is a modern and pleasing aesthetic vibe to the place. There is disabled toilet access, the toilets were clean and well decorated. There is outside seating available and veggie/vegan options available. Handy for a quick bit, full dinner or cocktails. No parking as it is town centre. I highly recommend this quirky cafe!

Wow, what can I say! Bold Street House never fail to go above and beyond, we hired it out for a surprise 50th and all the staff were incredible and attentive throughout the whole night from start to finish. Fast service always with a smile and nothing was ever too much! Thank you to Leanne, Manel, Sióbhan and Patrick for making the night extra special! P.S if anyone hasn’t been on a Sunday make sure you go for their Sunday roast it is incredible!

Nice setting for cosy drinks. My partner enjoyed their cocktail. Has a food menu, but we only stayed for drinks. Service was polite, friendly, and efficient.

We came in for cocktails after dinner at Vandal around the corner. Atmosphere was great and we loved the cocktails. We'll be back!

Myself and partner and my parents visited here yesterday for just a drink before going to a restaurant we were booked into nearby. I knew this place had such good reviews so I was keen to try it as I had never heard anyone say anything bad… this is why I am so confused why we had such a terrible experience!! When we first walked in it was busy which was promising and a female waitress showed us to a table as she said there were a lot of bookings/reserved. She brought water over straight away which I thought was a nice touch. Then it went wrong from there. My mum asked for a glass of Pinot Grigio and was told there wasn’t any.. which since it was a Saturday afternoon before the evening you think they would restock! My dad asked for one of the bottled beers, my partner asked for an old fashioned and I asked for a french martini. She said yes to all of them and then came back and told my Dad the beer he wanted they didn’t have either! Usually bar staff will tell you this before you order but I let that slide because I understand they can be busy.. The drinks took around half hour to arrive which again I accepted with it being so busy - but the GLASSES… not only were there lipstick marks but also greasy fingerprints around the glass too. My mum asked for a new glass and was brought one straight away which was appreciated but this one wasn’t much better with a dirty piece of something on the side of the glass!! My partners cocktail was nice and tasted right , mine on the other hand was not. It was very watery, didn’t taste alcoholic and there was a strange after taste which I couldn’t describe- It didn’t taste like a French martini that’s for sure. The final thing was the place was small and there was a table next to us and a table behind us. In order to get to the table behind us, the bar staff were going around me as this was the only small gap they could go past which was absolutely fine. However, one waitress came along and told my Mum to took her chair in despite there being a space around me to move past. The girl next to her on the other table had her chair pushed all the way out and my Mum was tucked in- eventually the girl asked her too but the way she was asked was slightly rude!! She stood and stared at my mum as she was struggling to move her chair and honestly it was slightly awkward and uncomfortable… We just wanted to leave at this point so went up to the bar to pay the bill when we were informed of the 10% service charge. We asked for this to be taken off because of the experience we had and explained to the staff why. We were told it had been a busy day … Safe to say I won’t be visiting again but I am so confused as to why our experience was so different to everyone else on here!!

Me and my friend booked here for a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. Staff were brilliant, really kind and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was amazing and such good value for money. The aperol spritz was the best I’ve had in a long time. I will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family. Fabulous roast, with all the trimmings. Excellently presented, food plentiful and really tasty. Crisp and succulent chicken, melt in your mouth shallots and delicious gravy. The chef knows what he’s doing with a roast, if you want a roast to savour this guy delivers!

A really lovely atmosphere and the staff were attentive whilst knowing that I was there for a quiet night on my own. The food and wine was lovely and the music selection might as well have been taken from my own playlist! I am visiting Warrington for work for a short time but I will definitely be back. This is a lovely spot.

Have often popped into Bold St for a couple of drinks and always been impressed by the staffs welcoming attitude, lovely atmosphere, and attention to detail, such as a glass of water while you decide what to order. Never eaten here until yesterday but decided to try the food and we certainly weren't disappointed, we ordered halloumi, chicken wings, loaded fries and chorizo to share, it arrived quickly, was beautifully cooked and reasonably priced. I can see why it's one of the top rated places in Warrington. Also got a small blue light discount too which was a bonus. 😊

We visited today to celebrate a 70th birthday and we couldn't have asked for better. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was friendly, relaxed and comfortable. The sunday lunch sharing boards were amazing. The food was tasty, plentiful and I would highly recommend this place; I can't wait to visit again.

Small cockatiel bar with great staff, good atmosphere. Find a table and they will come to you to take your drink orders. Had some food here too which was reasonable, I was expecting a bigger menu but that was probably because of the time of night.

What I like about this bar is how independent it is and what they do is delivered so well. I really enjoy visiting here. Firstly the location is great, (love sitting outside in summer), secondly the owners and staff know very clearly what high standards are and deliver them well. I love the beer and cocktails, although I haven’t had a my food yet. The chilled relaxing vibe is great. Well done! See you again soon!

It's just a bar really, but the bar food they do is good, and the lunchtime soup, sandwich and hot drink deal is very good value - and, if it's fine, with seats outside for the setting next to Queens Gardens.

The owner, her lovely husband and their beautiful son Kitt (who I was lucky enough to cuddle!) were so lovely, friendly and welcoming. They took the time to speak to us and were so down to earth and just sooo lovely. Siobhan served us and she was absolutely gorgeous and so attentive. The staff in here are always on the ball and can’t do enough for you. It’s a lovely place bar that’s always busy but they always make room for you and welcome you in. We will be back (hopefully with cuddles from the gorgeous Kit!)! Spoiler (sorry!), we can’t wait to visit their new venue and wish them every success - we’ll be regulars!

This was out first visit. Very impressed. We had the Sunday lunch sharing board. Chicken with all the trimmings, alot of food but excellent. They let you take home what you can't eat. I booked for my cousins hen do - from the 1st phone call you could tell they cared about their customers. The venue itself is beautifully decorated and it was very clean - even the loo! I had arranged for balloons to be delivered and...

Nice enough. Pleasing decor with friendly attentive staff. However, I object to a service charge automatically added to a bill especially just for drinks. Being put in an awkward position when it comes to paying leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I have no objection to tipping but it is at my own discretion. This would put me off visiting again
