The best restaurants in Stockport North West

Loved.mt birthday treat here with family members. Will definitely come again.

We had a delicious lobster ravioli and prawn fettuccine. Portions were ample but not overwhelming. We had a very pleasant bottle of house white wine which was nice and cold. The proprietor was very honest in admitting that the tiramisu was unfortunately not homemade that day as the chef was on holiday so we had a good pistachio melt in the middle dessert instead.

Called at the end of a walk for a refreshment. Good selection of draught ale and other excisable liquor. Helpful friendly staff. May have something to eat next time. The menu looks interesting 🤔 👀 👌

First time visit will go again. Good value

Happened upon this fabulous cafe while in the area for work. I loved everything about it - the decor and relaxing atmosphere, staff were fab and friendly (including the lady who received a previous unfortunate review, she couldn't have been more hospitable) and the breakfast of poached eggs with mushrooms on toast was delicious. The quality of the ingredients was excellent - amazing bread! I found it a welcoming place to get some work done between appointments while enjoying a lovely breakfast and a couple of very nice flat whites! Will definitely return

Nipped in after a visit to the Cork of the North wine bar. The restaurant was bustling and lively Ordered a sharing platter to start and some tapas to follow. All of the food was excellent, the staff attentive and helpful. They provided some great tips on the what was in the platter against our tapas choices. Overall more than happy to recommend and I'm keen to go back.

Just the best. Best staff, best food best experience all over. Very accommodating and always smiley.

Sunday tea time 20/10/24....... Bought a large chips & mushy peas, the chips were not a large portion unless you are a burrower & they were cold. The mushy peas were not mushy & were also cold.

Lovely place to have a drink and or a meal. Very tasty tacos. Staff were very friendlly and helpful.

A wonderful pub with a beer garden, reasonably priced and a great atmosphere, the current landlady's are doing a wonderful job

The kids burger was very big. Would have been better with some salad and cheese slice. But all food was nice.

Unfortunately we waited rather a long time for our food. I had a bacon and chicken toasty? It was burnt and the bacon was dry and burnt. Maybe the chef was having a bad day.

It's been open for a long time, and the food has a lot of good taste. The prices aren't too expensive. You can order to take home only.
