The best restaurants in Stockport North West

We have been in a few times over the last coupe of weeks. The food is fantastic and excellent value for money. The staff can't do enough for you. Would definitely recommend this place

Fabulous cream tea with great, attentive staff. Very retro style, although the loos are a bit strange having no sort of ante-room. Just walk in straight off the pub floor. Maybe a trellis screen or something outside might help. However, the decor in the loos is pure 80s, and I loved it. The dog was given dog treats and ice cubes, which she enjoyed. The only real moan was that the music was a bit loud, especially as we went in at 4.30 pm. Turn it up for the evening crowd by all means, but a bit much for afternoon. I'd highly recommend.

Lovely place. Very child friendly. Upstairs is delightful. Good food. Good selection of cakes with vegan options. Decent wine selection. Staff are diligent and helpful. Very clean. Chilled atmosphere

Four of us went for a meal and although the food was lovely some of the staff were very rude. One in particular was very abrupt.

Being all and only a short walk for us it's a great place for a quiet drink and watch the footy, play pool or even darts! Arrived before the evening entertainment where there is often an act on and of course some bingo and Also a prize draw. The club has been nicely decorated is clean and has a very welcoming feeling with familiar faces from around the local area. The staff are very friendly and helpful even to us not so regulars will make it a more regular thing even if I'm hopeless at darts. Thanks for your hospitality will be back in soon!

Ordered via the web page. It came within the hour and the man delivering was absolutely delightful. Really lovely and friendly. Talked to me about my car. I wanted to invite him in!! When we unpacked the meal we realised the rice was missing so I called them. They apologised and came back inside ten minutes with the rice and a bottle of beer! Just can’t fault them for their customer service and friendliness. The food was quite delicious as well. Will definitely be ordering again.

Wow! Fancied something different- and we weren't disappointed. Lovely take out menu- halloumi taco bowl and sweet potato fries. Out of this world- fresh, tasty and generous portions. May have found a new favourite.

Fab cafe. They were really accommodating to our group. Lovely coffee and the paninis and toasties were delicious. Very friendly staff too :)

Best dosa restaurant in Manchester, in my opinion. Great vegetarian breakfast buffet, and I'm not even a veggie!

I went to this place for my dinner at work, she asked me do I want food or drink, I said a bit of both, she only turned round and said we don’t do any of that here you should go to the cafe down the road, this woman needs to learn some manners and good customer service skills, what a disgusting way to treat a customer to tell them we don’t make what you want without even knowing what I want.

Ordered as a treat for me and my little girl when the food arrived I noticed the gravy was missing so-called the restaurant up as I like to pour the gravy on my burger. Whoever answered the phone was yelling at me and said the driver will come but he is not rushing by the time he gets here. My food is going to be freezing and I am not going to need the gravy. Also, the burger was not even a burger it was two pieces of small chicken on a bun. I paid for cheese. The cheese was absolutely disgusting cheap vile cheese. The mayonnaise was cheap and horrible and made the bun soaking wet through. Last, but not least they sent me the wrong drink and then lied about it on the phone. Update it has now been over an hour and still no gravy or correct drink!!

Food cold chips were like crisps and kebab was just meat paid extra for nan bread and we paid £2 50 delivery and tipped the driver never again .

First time today. Sausage, chips and gravy. Was lovely! Usually I find chippy's too greasy, but here was spot on. Will be visiting again!
