Great staff and service the chesse on toast is the best

A simple but great cafe very welcoming, friendly and accommodating.

It is a great atmosphere for the children and they love coming having toast and a baby chinos

on tuesday the 23rd i’ve come to star point cafe and got lunch with a strawberry fruit juice drink and let me tell you it was absolutely exquisite and it was that divine i was shocked by how amazing it was if u haven’t come here i would really recommend coming it’s a must do.

I can only give 4 stars. Fantastic everything...service.... quality....atmosphere.... but was shocked to pay £3.10 for a coffee. This is not London but a community cafe that caters for mostly pensioners.

Lovely staff, nice, clean and friendly environment. A good place to relax and have a coffee and bite to eat. Not too expensive.

Lovely cafe, food and drink, staff are great too. Nice community atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor spaces. Big and free car park nearby the cafe.

Aside from the quality components of an exceptional bacon butty and brew just thought I'd pass comment on something that happened there this week. At the time the cafe was full and an elderly lady dropped her plate and with it her sandwich. The plate shattered and of course the food was ruined. A lady member of staff immediately came over to reassure the customer, check she was ok and dismiss any need for apology immediately offering a free replacement though the elderly lady declined. Good deeds should always be acknowledged. Well done Startpoint and your hard working friendly staff.

I am a regular customer at StartPoint. The food is really delicious and very well presented. The staff are very friendly & helpful and will go the extra mile to accommodate any requests you may have re your order. The coffee shop and toilets are kept very clean thanks to the staff who all have very high hygiene standards. Thanks to everyone at StartPoint for the friendly welcoming atmosphere and great service. 😀

& unhelpful. When asked for something told to look on the menu by the darker haired girl instead of trying to help. Youngest girl bringing drinks over when asked for a certain milk grumpy reply. Need to go to charm school is my advice! No breakfast available! Limited menu! No change of gloves or washing of hands between preparing food & serving. I have a certain allergy not very reassuring! Would not visit again 1st experience wasn’t very good either they forgot the sandwich with no apology.

Such a shame because the place and staff are great. However missing the small things, like butter on a sausage sandwich and bits in the tea. Attention to detail is important!

A friendly little coffee place and community centre. If you need something to do in Woodley, you can probably find something to do there.

One of the most loveable local coffee shops near Woodley. Staff are really friendly. In case you are new and struggling with menu, they try and get the best tailored menu for you, never seen anywhere else..

Best bacon bap I’ve had in a while. Excellent cappuccino. My friend says her jacket potato is spot on. Friendly and helpful staff.

I went in yesterday and got bacon on toast, the bacon was thick and undercooked, to the point I've woken this morning to really bad tummy ache and diarrhoea, won't be eating there again

Great provision for gluten free - always make an effort to sort a gf option and have great gf cakes too! The staff are super friendly and it’s always great to watch the world of Woodley go by when here. They also do amazing work within the community - there’s always something going on. ❤️

Visited this place today with my sister in law. After waiting half an hour for a piece of cheese on toast when it came it was ot what I expected. I asked the staff if I could change it for something also and was immediately hit with an attitude from one of the staff. I ordered something else and handed my money over and was then told I had to leave the shop because I complained. I asked to speak to the manager and was told by the staff member who told me to leave that it was her mum while she was smirking at me and wobbling her head. Then was told if I didn't leave the shop she would get somebody to get me out? A man came out the back of the shop. I explained to him that I wasn't raising my voice and just wanted something to eat. Again being told over and over again to get put of the shop. I had handed £10 over to pay for what I ordered and was then told that I didn't?? So on top of her rude attitude I was also accused of being a liar!!! That girl seriously needs an attitude check and lessons in customer relations!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR!!!!!!

Good place for people to meet, eat, snack, drink. Reasonably priced. If you want sausage or bacon sandwich there is a time limit. I was on own and had sausage sarni and pot of tea. Nice, good price and got 3+ cups out of pot ! Good service too

Living in Woodley we regularly enjoy the facilities of StartPoint. Customer service is brilliant, and food/drinks lovely. We don't use the computer or community services on offer, but marvel at the scope of help and opportunities to develop IT skills. Recommended.

Really great staff, great prices on food items, very popular but always find a seat, go two or three times a week. look out for Kerry and Laura they will look after you. The rest of the staff are good too but i forgot their names. Enjoy

I can't believe we are so lucky in Woodley/Bredbury as to have such a friendly and community minded cafe. Good coffee (and other drinks), plus light snacks and meals - if you're really hungry, go to Taylor's fish and chips next door but one, run by the same five star family - takeaway or eat-in.

Lovely friendly staff make this a great place to go and make their customers feel very welcome. They're helpful with suggestions from the menu or offering alternatives if they're running short on something. The place is very comfortable and the standard of cleanliness is very high. There are a variety of choices of types of place to sit which also makes for a very comfortable feeling. There's plenty of choice on the menu and staff are happy to discuss or adapt things if you should need to. The food was tasty and arrived reasonably soon after ordering. Prices are very reasonable and great value for what you get. I've been several times now and will not hesitate to visit again when I'm in that area.

Best milkshake I've EVER HAD. Staff are friendly and talkative. Good simple options. Great for people who write on laptops (but you have to use the bt open zone or their FREE TO USE computers to get wifi.) Also there are no charging points (plugs) to be seen.

The place to be to make friends or meet friends and family for a coffee in a very friendly cafe . cone along we don't bite well we might have a nibble or two . haha .

This is the Hub of the community good food and drink served by friendly staff and if you want you can have a FREE computer or iPad lesson I really liked being there, you could say I'm biased as I teach I.T there but im not its really a great place to visit.
