The best restaurants in Rainford St. Helens North West

Christina could not have been more helpful when we were aranging our wedding reception. The whole event went without a hitch at Raiford URC Church hall and here team liased with caretaking staff on the premises. All dietary requirements were met , including the last minute changes. The charge of about £30 / person was very reasonable for a quality meal - Thanks Ninian & lesley.

We called here yesterday with my partner and grandaughters, I had the Alpine breakfast which I thoroughly enjoyed, I was a little disappointed when I was told there was no pancakes available as I was looking forward to 2-2-2 apart from that we really enjoyed our time there, thanks to the staff for their friendliness and we hope to return soon. Great steak pies, was greedy and had 2, plus got my daughter a Christmas ginger bread. Really nice for the price and great service by the girls behind the counter.

Little Italy serves beautiful food. The service is excellent , the staff always go the extra mile. Definitely recommend a visit.

Eat here at least one, twice per month. Great food, great staff and reasonable prices.

Not impressed. It was 1pm at the end of a walk -we decided to get coffees and snacks. Being vegan, we’re limited but were made up there were choices! There was a sign at the entrance to the cafe blocking the way but didn’t investigate. We probably would rather sit inside. Not sure why that was closed - even if it was. Its the Easter holidays. Lovely day so we went to the back to the window hatch and would sit outside. Ordered three vegan sausage balms and coffee. Server said she’d have to check and man came up and said ‘no no no its far too late for breakfast now.’ I hadnt realised this was breakfast. He offered nothing more and was dismissive so we just came away and they lost around £20 sale. Need to be more accommodating, especially for people with limited diets.….but we wont be going back.

Really lovely caring staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. An excellent breakfast which was both tasty and value for money. I would have no hesitation in recommending. Thank you, Paul

Never got what i ordered. What i got was illuminous red and covered in grease. The bread was like tough cardboard. I know its a business and you want to make as much money as you can.wanting to do takeout and run a restaurant just ends up in disappointment for more customers. Any takeout or restaurant can go downhill within a couple of weeks.. Sort it out its not good enough. Sean

Not eaten here before, we had been out for the day and needed feeding this came up on Google search. We hadn’t booked but they did find us a table for 2. We both had roasts hubby had beef, I had a children’s vegetarian mushroom wellington. All food very nice, as were the staff we encountered. Good value for money. A very busy day for the staff as the weather was gorgeous. If in the area again I am sure we would pop in

Amazing food, great service from both bar and restaurant staff - a little on the pricier side, but you fully get what you pay for here.

Visited for my birthday meal on 9 March. Food was outstanding and service from Gareth was fantastic. He looked after us really well. Would highly recommend.

Good place for breakfast and a coffee

Searching for the best toasted BLT in the world and these people are at 99% (always room for improvement😂😂). I do a re test on every visit to the golf range and never leave unhappy. The cakes and sausage rolls are bit special too 😏. Fantastic service from Elaine and Alex. Always a smile to go with my brew and snack.

Absolutely gorgeous - been here a few times now with family and as a couple, and it never ever disappoints. Food is always 10/10 and so are staff
