The best restaurants in Rainford St. Helens North West

Christina could not have been more helpful when we were aranging our wedding reception. The whole event went without a hitch at Raiford URC Church hall and here team liased with caretaking staff on the premises. All dietary requirements were met , including the last minute changes. The charge of about £30 / person was very reasonable for a quality meal - Thanks Ninian & lesley.

We called here yesterday with my partner and grandaughters, I had the Alpine breakfast which I thoroughly enjoyed, I was a little disappointed when I was told there was no pancakes available as I was looking forward to 2-2-2 apart from that we really enjoyed our time there, thanks to the staff for their friendliness and we hope to return soon. Great steak pies, was greedy and had 2, plus got my daughter a Christmas ginger bread. Really nice for the price and great service by the girls behind the counter.

Visited for lunch today. Fantastic restaurant. Food lovely, service great and smells like Italy! Highly recommended.

First of all, the waiting staff were excellent! Very friendly, accommodating and attentive. The food was tasty, although I do think a little on the pricey side for what you receive. I ordered from the "Specials" menu and paid £23.95 for the New York Strip, which came with some hand cut chips and some vegetables, which I discovered I had to share with my mother and her Slow Roasted Lamb Henry. I had presumed, wrongly, that we would get our own individual portions. That being said, it was a very pleasant dining experience, made all the more so, in part, due to the staff and the general atmosphere. There was no rushing us, food came out swiftly and hot and the staff genuinely seemed to care.

We had the afternoon tea in celebration of my late mother 90 th birthday, she loved going to the houghwood with my late father. As per usual excellent food and service.

Eat here at least one, twice per month. Great food, great staff and reasonable prices.

Not worth the price and poor presentation would not return smashed advocado was just under £9 each should be something with it and sat for a while before being serve tables too close together

Been a couple of times recently and the food is always really good. Service is fast and everyone is really friendly, probably our favourite place to go.

I enjoyed my visit to the Bridge Farm Cafe on News Lane, Rainford, Merseyside.. I will definitely be going back on a regular basis from now as it truly is an hidden gem.. I found the ambience very friendly and inviting inside the cafe, of which was spotlessly clean and tidy, outside was quite spacious and well laid out too with a decent amount of space for car parking at the rear. I found the menu was quite varied and reasonably priced considering the lovely rural location.. As previously mentioned, I'm definitely going back to Bridge Farm Cafe and also to check out the garden plants too.

Amazing food, great service from both bar and restaurant staff - a little on the pricier side, but you fully get what you pay for here.

Had a fantastic meal for my mum’s 70th birthday. Booked the little room up the stairs for 8 of us plus dogs. Staff were lovely and very accommodating in terms of decorating the room and bringing a cake out etc. Food was great too would highly recommend. Thank you for a memorable lunch for mum.

Searching for the best toasted BLT in the world and these people are at 99% (always room for improvement😂😂). I do a re test on every visit to the golf range and never leave unhappy. The cakes and sausage rolls are bit special too 😏. Fantastic service from Elaine and Alex. Always a smile to go with my brew and snack.
