The Rainford Deli in St. Helens

Due to the exceptional service and food we had on our last visit, we decided to give the Rainford Deli a second go. Nothing has changed in the fact that we again received great service with great food, it was warm with a lovely atmosphere. What a great cafe.

Visited here this weekend with my husband and young son, the staff was amazing, very accommodating friendly and welcoming, asked us exactly how we would like food, the establishment was very clean and such a nice atmosphere will definitely visit again soon

As usual the Deli supplied me with my favourite morning meal of crispy bacon on toast and a latte. So friendly person's here who give you their time to talk. Excellent service every time I visit. Wouldn't dream of eating elsewhere. Well done ladies.xcxx

Have been visiting The Rainford Deli for probably about 6 years normally a Saturday. Very friendly staff, food is locally sourced and delicious. Highly recommend for a light or big breakfast. Thank you so much to all the staff for re-opening during this difficult situation too.

Been here a few times with my kids. Lovely welcoming staff, great variety of food! With delicious home made cakes! Great value for money. Very homely and community atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

Have been coming to the Rainford Deli for approx 2 years. Each time my husband and I are welcomed with smiling faces and pleasantries. The food is always cooked to exact liking ie hot when it should be and cold when it should be. The Deli is always busy which is a good sign of a good shop. Food is cooked on the premises is fresh with good ingredients. I wouldn’t wish to go anywhere else in Rainford . Keep up the good work ladies. See you soon. Mary bullen

I asked for tea and toast 11 30am. The assistant was friendly but was a long time taking my money. Sat down and waited 15 minutes for the cup of tea. No toast but was told the toast was on its way. Ten minutes later I asked the assistant who was chatting to people at the next table for my toast. The warm bread came at 11 55am, been under the grill roughly 15 seconds. Ate 1 round, left the rest, not impressed. There was approximately 6 people in the Bistro. God help them if they were busy. I had an appointment in St Helens at 12 20pm, only just made it. I won't be going again, sorry.

After waiting 20 minutes + we were served our breakfast, on cold plates - consequently everything on the plate was cold and uneatable, and I ended up wrapping all the meat in serviettes and taking it home for the dog

Full english freshky cooked to order Reasonable and friendly staff. Highly recommemed.Have kids toys too.

We visit The Deli at least 3 times each week. The food is lovely and tasty being freshly prepared. The menu is extensive and you can order food which isn’t on the menu. The staff are wonderful, always smiling and appear happy in their work. I wouldn’t wish to eat anywhere else in Rainford. Well done girls. It’s a pleasure to visit you.

This is a wonderful place to eat in Rainford. The food is freshly prepared while you wait hot and very tasty. Friendly staff to make you always feel welcome nothing is too much trouble. They even have toys for the younger guest to enjoy and books too. Owner is always on hand and always has time to speak to you adding to the community feel of this village. I highly recommend a visit to this place once been I’m sure you’ll be back again and again. Check out the menu well worth trying and good prices too and deals come up regularly. My two children enjoying a bacon sandwich, a ham sandwich while I enjoyed a luxury hot chocolate. The beautiful scrambled eggs on toast was this morning. I’ll be back tomorrow.

I could not recommended this place enough. The staff are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The food taste amazing and it is all homemade. There is a great choice of food and drinks at very reasonable prices. I can't wait to visit again soon.
