With 8 rotating hand pumps, 6 keg taps and two dedicated cider pumps you cannot knock the amazing variety of beers on offer. New bottled and canned beers weekly and choices on a variety of wine, there is definitely something for everyone here. Did I mention it was also dog-friendly? what is not to love.

This was our 2nd visit to Goya Bistro and once again cannot fault it. The service is fantastic and recommendations are always fantastic. The food is amazing, so many flavours, always hot and beautifully presented. If your looking for an authentic taste of Thai food you can't go wrong here. Fantastic value for money and we also notice lots of GF dishes and great vegetarian/vegan options available. Help this business out by paying cash as card transaction fees are killing small business owners.

I've only just discovered this place and I wish I'd found it sooner! One of the only takeaway places round here where the food doesn't taste greasy and soggy. Had 2 orders in the last week and they've been on time, hot, really delicious and good quality!

We were excited to come here after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our visit. The restaurant was fairly quiet. It had an open kitchen which we liked and the decor was nice. My wife ordered the Chicken Enchiladas, and I ordered the Meatballs in the "Red hot sauce". We ordered Mexican rice with the meals, but was then told that they had ran out of this and we accepted chips instead. (This was 7pm on a Saturday night in a relatively quiet restaurant. Not too sure how you could run out of rice). My wife's food arrived in a reasonable time (about 10 mins), but disappointingly, my meatballs didn't arrive for another 5 - 10 mins which was quite poor. When the meatballs did eventually arrive, I was quite dismayed as to what I got for the £14 or so that was charged. There was just 4 small meatballs in a sauce with a bit of cheese on it and accompanied by a relatively small portion of chips. The sauce had no real heat and certainly didn't match the description of "Red Hot". When we finished our meals, the chef did visit our table which we thought was nice and we did explain our disappointment to him in the poor value for the meatballs and the lack of heat in the sauce. We also said that the Enchiladas were fine. He said he could make the sauce hotter next time, but to be fair if it's advertised as "Red Hot" it should be. The bigger disappointment was the quantity. 4 small meatballs for £14 was just shocking. (Photo attached) I think if the chef invited us back to give the place another try as this could be a one off, we may have took him up on this and give the place the benefit of doubt, but no offer to make amends was made. I would have liked to have raved about this place as I like to support local restaurants and indeed, there are some great reviews, but alas for us, it just didn't happen. Lots of room for improvement.

Drove past here many a time , but read a review in the M.E.N. on line over the weekend & decided to try here instead of our normal place on our Thursday shopping day. Walked thro the shop & saw the nice buchery counter into the cafe at the rear. It was a little cold but got a table near the heater, chairs a bit hard was only other note ( outside seats have cushions on then) Ordered the full English for me & fruit toast for my wife ( £10.90 & £3.00) plus a cappuchino & soya latte thats £22.89 lady says , thought that sounded high but sat down. It was then my wife pointed out that they had charged 99p for soya milk!!!!! Coffees arrived quickly & thought they were small cups when the charge is £4 cup , but to then stick 99p on for soya. If you have a daury intollerance as my wife has then soya is the go to, some places add 50p which I think is steep , but 99p. Its not like a lifestyle choice like Almond or Coconut etc. Food came & was good, just the coffee prices for size of cups & the soya rip off took the shine off it. Looked at lunch menu on way out & prices looked good , but dont get excited ref the drinks.
