Great friendly cafe 🍰🍥 still very good

Lovely traditional bakery and cheap. I couldn't believe I got a selection of 4 pies for just £6 odd.

First visit today and I will definitely be back. The cinnamon roll was the best I’ve ever tasted and coffee was fab too. The staff are so welcoming and prices really fair. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

No 16 is a welcoming, spotlessly clean cafe in Penwortham. The breakfast menu is extensive and great value. The eggs are always perfectly poached and the sausages are so tasty. Service is friendly and prompt and the Americano delicious. I can’t recommend this café enough for breakfast.

I visited with my friend today for the first time and I ordered the GF margherita. I never do reviews but this deserved it as it was the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had! Absolutely unreal and great service. The Parmesan mayo is 🤤🤤

Great little place for cocktails & real ale, reasonably priced too.

The most expensive Indian takeaway I’ve ever come across so was hoping for good things. Sadly very disappointed having paid just over £30 for a mere 2 main courses, 2 popadoms and chutneys and 1 Nan bread (I did question the price upon paying thinking they’d given me a wrong order but was abruptly told it was correct with no offer to double check they’d done the correct additions). Both main curry dishes were totally lacking any flavour or seasoning whatsoever. No acknowledgement neither from a single staff member upon entering to collect my order which I find rude beyond belief especially given I was first in line at the counter and waited a good few minutes before anyone made eye contact or attempted to speak. First and last visit without question sadly

Great food and excellent service

With being 78years old I find the cost of Coffee x food is to dear as I can get drinks x cakes much cheaper so I will have to cut back x it's a shame as I love my Costa x they have cut back on staff x they can get jobs anywhere x waiting time is to long also some shops are run down x toilets need maintained x dirty it's a shame

Been here 4 times now as my wife loves their curries, but personally out of the Madras, Jal frezi, Jal Masala and Rogan Josh that I have tried, not one has impressed. None have been the colour I have expected from multiple other curries over the years, and this is because they don't taste like what you would expect from any of those big-named curries, and I'm really not sure how you get that wrong... Food is ready in good time and always hot, breads and naans are good, front house service is always decent, but I am consistently disappointed with the main fare unfortunately.

The food is excellent we had the chorizo hash and dolly special both were fantastic! Children had sandwiches which were all eaten too! Then we shared the waffle and my god it was also very very good!! It cafe is really nice which great facilities, we will definitely be back soon!

I use this place a lot, always 10 out of 10, tonight considering it being new year they get 12, the food was amazing I would highly recommend, open kitchen thank you very much you are all top class
