Gin Jar Ale in South Ribble

The Aperol Spritz was the worst I've ever had, and the other cocktails tasted absolutely terrible. This is a place I will avoid from now on.

Great little place for cocktails & real ale, reasonably priced too.

Nice little friendly pub with great outside seating

A relaxed bar with a good variety of beer from NEIPA to your standard lagers through to real ale options. Seating could be a bit more comfortable but that's a minor gripe. A great addition to the Penny strip.

Gin Jar is a gem. Great and friendly service, fantastic choice of ales, lagers, spirits and cocktails. If you're in the area Gin Jar Ale is a must visit.

Very busy nice and chilled place, more for cocktails and spirits drinking, not to many beers, but pretty nice.

Good selection of beers in a relaxing enviroment

Tried the Indian tapas last night.we had the butter bean dhal and the chip butty. We have found our local mowgli restaurant. It was so good.

Great little pub in penwortham. Normally has really good bitters but this weekends were not great..so I had Moretti and my current wife had Hendricks and slimline tonic. Dog friendly to which is always a bonus.

Very friendly staff, fantastic beer, the tapas are to die for. Makes you feel like your abroad ,you wont be disappointed

Popped in yesterday for a cheeky beer and ended up sampling the Potato and Spinach curry, what can I say, fantastic. Highly recommended.

As a lover of real ale I can confirm, beyond doubt, Gin Jar Ale serves the best kept pint in Penwortham. Superbly kept beer & well worth a try.

A jewel in the increasingly large crown of Penwortham. Quieter than the rest and better for it.
