A fabulous resturant, the cosy atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food quality. The wines are a fantastic selection, this is a must if you are serious about enjoying good food and drink. We were there for the first time with family last night, it will not be our last visit.
Lovely pub in a great location, always worth a visit. Our meals today were very disappointing, warmed up dry pie. We have had nicer meals in the past. The specials appear to be more freshly cooked though. Drinks are very expensive. Nice cosy bar and the fires are always lit.

Great find in Windermere. Food was freshly cooked and plentiful.service was as requested wirh a little break and a nivmce little corner spot for the pup.
Recommend the pie and the burger, but the bread basket and olive oil went back empty too !
The food was superb. Beautifully cooked. Front of house was attentive without being intrusive. We had a lovely dinner and thought it was reasonably priced for the quality & presentation.
Stumbled across this little Italian restaurant after searching on trip advisor for somewhere to eat in Bowness and it didn’t disappoint.
On a cold evening it was so cosy and warm. The staff were so welcoming and the food was just amazing.
We will definitely return.
I first ate at this excellent restaurant in 2002 and have eaten there whenever I have been in the area since.
Starter consisted of meat samosas with a side salad which were excellent.
The main course was Lamb Madras, pilau rice, plain paratha and an onion chutney. I have eaten Lamb Madras all over Britain and the Lamb Madras here is the best I have ever eaten.
The price was reasonable for a restaurant in a tourist area.
I would certainly eat here again and would highly recommend this restaurant.
Recommended by a local, we booked this restaurant for my birthday.
It did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, lovely staff including the owner Francine.
The food was absolutely delicious from the complementary canapes right through to amazing puddings.
Flavours all delicious. Highly recommend.
Excellent service. Booking was very professional and helpful. Service was excellent from all the staff. Food was wonderful. We had Sunday lunch, beef, chicken and lamb. All cooked to perfection. The Yorkshire puddings were better than ‘my nans 🤣’.
Great location for train and bus services. Easy to walk around Windermere.
Will definitely be back.
Went here for something to eat and a coffee ..I ordered a cheese n tomatoes sandwich husband ordered a cheese n ham toastie waited ages for someone to actually come to counter and serve in all it was over £22 for 2 drinks and 2 sandwichs which both went in bin bread stale cheese tasteless best thing was the drinks black coffee n a smoothie
We ate in Fellini's twice during our visit to the Lakes. The food is simply superb - beautifully presented, creative, colourful gourmet dishes - vegetarian food at its finest. We chose different dishes at each visit so sampled quite a range and it was all delightful. Add to that friendly and attentive staff, very pleasant background music and tranquil décor - and you get a fine dining experience. Highly recommended.
Amazing atmosphere and a HUGE range of whiskeys! Was greated by the baa( no pun intended) owner on our 1st visit and was warmly welcomed! Great staff and lots of look at when you are sat down!
3rd visit... and again outstanding service and quality of food.... atmosphere good.... looked after us again ...... fillet steak and deep fried camembert to start. lovely ... see you again
We ate here on a Tuesday evening in March so it was very quiet but I have been before in summer and it can get very busy so would recommend booking.
It has been a few years since I ate here but it was as good as I remembered.
Food is bistro style which is perfect, tasty and some dishes with a twist.
Service is friendly and well run. If you are in Grasmere this is a must to eat.
