Picked the only day with wind and rain and it was actually really nice that the café was warm when it opened. Nice ambience. Really friendly staff. We had breakfast baps, a little dry perhaps but the mushrooms were tasty. Sensible prices. Dog friendly.

Great coffee and excellent service from the amazing Ashley.....Etudes appears like an oasis after a good walk and does not disappoint

We came for the pottery wheel class and it was great fun. Great having one one one help from Sarah as we had never done it before and we ended up both being able to make something to take home in the future :)

Popped in after a long walk down Formby beach. Staff were very warm and welcoming, great selection of ales and the place was full of well behaved dogos...had a great time! Hopefully will have the time to pop in again next time I go down to Formby 🙂

Very expensive for what you get, bacon was over cooked for my taste, tea bags in a diffuser teapot doesn't work, friendly service.

Finding Emily's in Formby proved to be a bit of an adventure, thanks to the building's verdant camouflage! But let me tell you, discovering this place was absolutely worth it. The interior décor is stunning – from the moment you step into the bar area, you're greeted by a stylish and inviting ambiance. We visited mid-week, and despite it being a weekday, the place was buzzing! This popularity is a testament to the quality of the food and service. After much deliberation (brought on by the parade of mouth-watering dishes delivered to other tables), I opted for the Breakfast Burger. It was a fantastic choice – perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. Everything about our experience at Emily's was top-notch. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was exceptional. It's no wonder this place is so popular! Just a heads up – finding parking might be a bit tricky due to the location. If you're not familiar with the area, I'd recommend checking out some parking options online beforehand. Overall, I highly recommend Emily's. It's a fantastic spot for a delicious brunch in a stylish setting. Just be sure to make a reservation, especially if you're planning a visit on the weekend.

1st time I’ve been (I’m not local) as I used the Park and Ride Merseyrail. Decided to try it when I got off the train. Wow, absolutely fantastic, beautifully cooked and excellent value. (Fish and chips). Thank you.

pretty inside great food if you go ask for Kate to be your waitress the loveliest girl so kind and thoughtful never had a better experience with a waitress/waiter.

Had an absolutely delicious 2 course meal as part of the early bird menu. It was slightly cold in there as we were first there but the food more than made up for it. Would definitely visit again maybe wearing something a bit warmer.

Having walked nearly 10 miles along the beach, the dunes and through the pinewoods, Kitty’s Tea Rooms were a very welcome sight! I only wanted a cup of tea but couldn’t resist the coffee walnut cake (YUM) and a very tasty Club Sandwich. Very friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Perfect.

Arrived here at 12pm ordered a latte a tea and 2 omelets We waited 30 minutes for drinks after checking they were in the way and we waited 1 hour and 15 mins for the omelets being told they were in the oven! Mine came and was undercooked sent back and it came back still undercooked! So waste of time! You pay before you get your food otherwise I wouldn’t have paid it’s a shame as it’s local but my friends and I will not be going back

Visited earlier on today. Lovely atmosphere. Great place to meet up with friends. Food was fantastic, I recommend the full English breakfast with sourdough.

Food was actually alright but would never return the man who works there is rude and needs learn keep his opinions to himself absolutely ridiculing me for being a young mum. Won’t be back and I’d suggest other people don’t either
