Delish in Sefton

Picked the only day with wind and rain and it was actually really nice that the café was warm when it opened. Nice ambience. Really friendly staff. We had breakfast baps, a little dry perhaps but the mushrooms were tasty. Sensible prices. Dog friendly.

Today i visited Delish in formby. Went with my friends for a catch up which ended in a terrible way. We ordered 3 waffles which came freezing and under cooked. i’m not normally a person to complain about things but it was unedible. i sent it back & the staff kindly made me a new one however it wasn’t much better. The staff have no clue what there doing and need some serious training. Will not be returning.

Love the venue always go in with my daughter. Get the cheesecake as it’s the best around. Also the iced latte are really nice

Came here today Weds 5th May for late breakfast with my wife whilst visiting Formby. I had a full English breakfast, which was excellent. Full plate of food which took a while to cook which was a good sign that everything was cooked to order. Butchers quality sausages, and black pudding. Very tasty mushrooms cooked in butter. My wife had a sausage barm which she said was great. An Americano and a Latte and a total bill of £19.40. Served by a very friendly and professional lady. The premises and toilet were spotless. I highly recommend this place.

Walked past this place saw people eating outside. Food looked amazing. Had a walk around and decided to eat there. Ordered inside. Jackets potatoes with homemade chilli and creme fresh. Told no creme fresh... not a problem. Should've been told only 1 portion of chilli left and I'd have ordered an alternative dish. Food came tiny tablespoon of chilli at most in each potato which was sadly really cold and absolutely nothing like the "Delish' ones we'd seen served an hour earlier. Sent them back. Staff really apologetic. One a plus side immaculately clean toilet and lovely staff. Service extremely slow though.

People lovely but not very organised. Forgot to bring some items to the table and drinks came at random times instead of all together, needs better organising but good price and nice food/drinks

First time here and will certainly be back! Excellent panini, sandwich, hot choc and homemade soup. Only thing, not enough staff, only 2 on and tables were getting full up of cups and plates ,

Great for a quick brunch. Not a huge menu but a good selection of tasty stuff. I had a waffle with marshmallows and white choc sauce. Very sweet but nice. Wifelet had some kind of tuna ciabatta which she said was excellent. Normal coffee etc was normal.

It was quiet apart from staff when we got there which sometimes can mean it's not popular but as soon as we sat down others started to come in,food was lovely bagel with pesto mozzarella and chicken pannini,nice drinks,service quick,nice assortment of ice creams,thankyou.

Good coffees Americano and flat white, lovely cherry bake well and raspberry brownie. Good service and bright, modern decor.

I had to very quickly arrange a tea for the residents of of a sheltered senior residence and Katherine could not have been more helpful. Delish put together a wonderful assortment of sandwiches, mini sausage rolls and small scones ready to eat with jam and cream that were heavenly. The food was delivered and carefully packaged - excellent. Do try their scones, to die for! Anne

A hidden gem, Delish easily serves the best café food in Formby Village, particularly the sandwiches. I will definitely be returning.

Friendly staff and great service. Great selection of drinks and snacks in a modern and clean environment. Defiantly would return again.

This was my first visit here and I wasn’t disappointed. I was meeting up with some old school friends for Sunday breakfast and as I have coeliac disease, I’m always worried about eating in new places. Our server was fabulous- she went and checked with the kitchen that the Small English Breakfast could be made gluten free and that the bread could be toasted separately to normal bread. I felt reassured and the breakfast was delicious. One of my friends was vegetarian and the vegan breakfast was adjusted to suit her needs without a problem. We stayed a lot longer than we planned and we didn’t feel pressured to leave when we’d finished eating. Thank you Delish - I’ll definitely be back to try more of your gluten free menu.

Came here on a very rainy Friday! Greeted by friendly staff and sat at our seats. Staff all wearing facemasks and the restaurant lovely and clean with tables and chairs easy to wipe down. They were clearly well prepared for all the Covid restrictions and we felt very comfortable being there. We ordered our lunch and hot drinks, I had a tough time choosing as it all sounded so good! I opted for the Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese Bagel and my husband had the Chicken Pesto Panini. The food came quickly and was well presented. They were both served with crisps, coleslaw, salad and we also ordered a side of fries each which was all very yummy. A lovely place to go in Formby village and we said we will definitely make more lunchtime trips now restrictions have eased. If you haven't been I would highly recommend.

a really good choice of breakfast with home made porridge, fresh fruit and lovely coffee and avocado with bacon or whatever you want. We felt very safe in their Covid free cafe with lovely staff.

Absolutely fantastic! A gift bought for my mum and me. Non vegans and vegans catered for with fantastic sandwiches, cakes and other tasty food delights. Highly recommend.

Illy coffee, Bates dairy full fat milk, a great barista = the capuccino of dreams. Also my sister said the hot choc was delish. Cool decor and really well spaced for covid. Cakes look great and quite a few homemade. Will be back to sample the ample options of sweet treats.

Amazing array of ice creams, with selection of cones and pots, sauces and sprinkles. Lots of hot drinks too. Seating outside is lovely when it's sunny, and you can watch people go by on the highstreet. We had to remind them a few times about bringing us some water to drink, but they served us the icecreams really promptly, and I liked being able to pay by card at the ice cream station itself, so didn't even have to go further into shop, which is good for reducing COVID risk. If you're diabetic, this is NOT for you, I'm afraid! Delicious but naughty!
