Great little micro pub beer always spot on 👍

A very busy micropub within a litteral stone's throw from the station. The ale was OK, drinkable, but not up to the standard of our previous visit. Still worth calling in for a pint. The bartender's knowledge of the hops and malt used in the beers they were serving was limited.

Lovely beer, nice ambiance with a cozy interior. Would highly recommend.

Had a great time here, on my trip to Formby. The staff were friendly and happy to chat and there's a good selection of locally brewed beer, both on draft and in the fridge. Highly recommended!

Small, but good atmosphere and decent ales

It’s like someone installed a pub in you front room but it’s great! They had live music outside and we all just had a nice pint by the station. They also have some interesting options I’ve never seen anywhere else

Always a friendly welcome with a nice beer selection.

We like to try different beers so Beerstation is ideal. We can break a train journey from Southport or call in on a walk. Local brews including their own. They even grow their own hops. Strangers all talk with you because you're all there for the same reason. Great drinks at realistic prices. Just wish there weren't so many dogs.

Always try and pop into here after going for a local walk to the pinewoods. Always great service , reasonably priced and good atmosphere. If it's busy inside there's seating available outside. Thanks Beer Station

Friendly establishment, good beer and own brewery

This little Gem is very reasonably priced and serves great beer with brilliant staff.Across the road from Freshfield Train Station it's perfectly placed so you can leave the car at home.Absolutely love it.

Everything you'd expect from a micro bar. Smashing beer, staff and conversation. I live 30 miles away but I'll be back!

Poor customer service and flat beer. Went in with a mate while we were on a bike ride a few weeks ago. Even though that we said Hi, and asked/paid for our drinks with a please and thanks - the 2 blokes behind the bar didn't even open their mouths. The beer was pretty insipid and flat too. Maybe it was an off day, I'll try again some other time but if it's still as bad we won't be back

Great little bar. The Staff are fantastic. The punters are a good crowd, a real eclectic bunch of people & friendly. Dog friendly. Also has seating outside. The one thing that should be mentioned as a micro-brewer they produce some absolutely fabulous Beers, of a very high quality. All at a very fair price. There is also a good collection of bottles in the fridge. So well worth calling in and having a couple. Then the Beer Station shall not let you down. It shall also leave you wanting to make a return journey.

I Love The Beer Station, particularly nice a destination after a walk around the pinewoods.Always an interesting selection of beers and regularly sells 'Rock The Boat' Brewery beers.

Best pint of 4.0 lager I've had in a while, even my partner said it was the best rioja she'd ever had in Formby,and it was reasonable price, would highly recommend to all and you people who get off at freshfeild station every day,big thumbs up from two locals👍

Stumbled upon the Beer Station during an afternoon exploring on the train. Conveniently located close to the station which is also the only local parking. Small location but making good use of the space for social distancing. Warm, friendly welcome from the staff and willing to answer questions and offer advice on the available beers. Would recommend a visit.

Nice little gaff, only popped in for a quick pint. Friendly place with a small selection of cask, keg and bottled beer. The stout I had was very good, and in excellent condition. I'll definitely try to spend a bit longer in there next time I'm in Formby!

Cosy, friendly micropub by Freshfield Station. Excellent selection of real ales. And with Merseyrsil trains running every 15 minutes, you can always make time for another pint!

Small, good beer great old fashioned atmosphere...and right by the railway station too.

Grand one room proper bar. They even brew their own ale which is fantastic. Great staff. Right outside Freshfield Station I wrote the above about 4mnths ago, they continue to produce grand beer served by great people. Did I mention that they also allow doggies in. All in all a great atmosphere with nice punters, well, excluding me, obvs.

Great little place, cool atmosphere!! Nice people! All are inviting and warm- welcoming, the beer is fresh and the taps are cleaned whenever a cask is replaced, had a lovely rye red ale that was simply magnificent and still in my mind from time to time, ohh, and if you fancy a haircut, threre's a hair saloon just next door and its realy close to the train station!
