I love these place to have a great sandwich, toastie or a wrap. They have other options, good hot drinks and a very good price.

Modern, bright, spotlessly clean cafe with very friendly staff. The varied menu meant that even as a vegetarian I was really spoilt for choice, but I opted for the vegetarian ploughman’s lunch which featured three varieties of cheese, a veggie sausage roll and a large cheese scone, accompanied by coleslaw, pickled red cabbage, chutney, and salad. Everything was fresh, homemade and tasted delicious. The others with me had thickly-filled sandwiches made with white fluffy bread and a side order of chips. We will be returning on our next trip to Whalley to try the fantastic looking cakes.

Recently moved to the area and often walk the dogs at Spring Wood. Went today in this glorious weather and after the walk had lunch courtesy of the fantastic "What the fork" food van. After battling over the choices on the menu we both settled for the Donner Wrap...... A strange choice you may assume give. We weren't full of 8 pints of wobbly juice before hand but please ....trust me. The Donner Wrap was absolutely fantastic! Easily the best "takeaway/ streetfood" I have had in a looooong time. REAL Turkish beef and chicken dinner crammed & served in a burrito style toasted wrap with a beautifully refreshing diced salsa with tomato, pomegranate, onion, which acted as flavour enhancement rather than the usual "filler" from most places. The service was fantastic and had great conversation with friendly, normal people.....which makes a change from the normal entitled business people that usually undertake these sorts of businesses. Clearly passionate about what they do and care about given a customer good food. There is so much potential for this place ...I can imagine lights up in summer evenings and holding BBQ styles evenings ...or taster evenings, could be incredible. Anyway enough of my rambling, needless to say I was impressed and will be back at least weekly. All the best Guys you have a hit. PS Maverick and Rooster say the sausages are spectacular.

We arrived with friends that had recommended The Whalley Wine Bar (and Wine shop). We started with visiting the wine shop, after browsing the wines through the store we got chatting to a few, very knowledgeable chaps that really knew their stuff. Lots of recommendations to sample different wines. We earmarked a few wines, but then left to get a bite to eat next door in the wine bar, to then return and make our purchases. The wine bar, on a Saturday was extremely busy (no surprise), however we were made to feel welcome and although we hadn't reserved a table, the waitress managed to make us some space with a 30 minute limit, she then managed to move bookings around, giving us a lot longer (a nice touch). From here we ordered some delicious bites to go with the wine, (Mine being a Chablis and Pate). The atmosphere was truly amazing and the service very good. We then returned to the wine shop to purchase our wines, which again, really made to feel welcome even though the shop at this point was a lot busier. All in all, a very lovely experience from both sides of this business. We live over an hour away but we're already planning our return, trust me, it's worth the drive.

Very limited gluten free options unfortunately, on arrival instead on going through what l could eat they just put a full allergens menu infront of me that l had to go through myself, when I went to order the man said 'everything is done in the same fryer but that will be ok won't it?' Unfortunately anyone with coeliac disease or an tolerance to gluten will know that is not ok so l just had goats cheese on toast starter as my meal, would not recommend unfortunately, I felt discriminated and felt embarrassed infront of my group of friends.

Dirty dancing bottomless brunch. Brill entertainment, super quick with the drinks, but the food is poor but this didn't put us off as you're kinda paying paying for the drink

As a local living near Edisford Bridge pub firstly perhaps the owner/manager should change his opening times. Over the past couple of weeks this pub has been shut several times in the evening after work maybe 6pm. Doors always seem to be open in peak season when walkers and campers frequent the premises at extortionate beer prices! This will be another pub soon to close☹️
