Fantastic tapas 47 for lunch. It’s a while since we dined here and what a mistake that’s been. The food, atmosphere and service was just amazing . We had a great selection of dishes a really good Spanish beer and-desserts to die for. Give it a go it won’t disappoint..

Finally got round to visiting Tapas47 yesterday. We had high hopes and were not disappointed. We are great fans of Spanish food and I can say that the tapas were very authentic and delicious and some of the best we have had. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. We ordered 2 nibbles dishes and 4 tapas including the large patatas bravas which was more than enough for 2 people. The gambas were plump and had a lovely kick and the patatas where nice and crispy with a delicious tomato sauce again with a good kick. All in all a great evening and we will be back soon.

We just had Sunday roast it was delicious, it was their first time serving the Sunday roast and it went so well. It was a lovely atmosphere, the service was brilliant and the food was served to standard. We will definitely be back again for both tapas and the Sunday roast.

Fantastic restaurant. The staff go out their way to please and are always very polite and helpful. This is my 7 year old son's favourite place to eat and they always make sure he enjoys his visit. Thank you to all the staff

Amazing service, regularly visit here with friends and family. Food is always to the best quality, piping hot and great portion sizes. Staff are extremely accommodating due to allergies/intolerances and always go above and beyond to offer alternatives. Definitely recommend!

Just had a roast dinner and it was up there with one of the best I’ve had!😍 The meat was cooked perfectly and all the sides were so good too! Service was amazing and staff are always lovely every time we come❤️

Food was lovely, rather small and gets warm so keep that in mind. Great service but we had to be out at 10pm due to licence? Not sure on laws but if your not being served drinks it would be nice to feel you can linger and finish your drinks rather than being slightly rushed !

Had a lovely meal for our anniversary. The dishes were quite big for tapas and plenty of choice to choose from, the charcuterie board was particularly nice. Drinks were very nice can highly recommend the cocktails. Our second time visiting and we will definitely return for more.

Great night out at Tapas 47, food good atmosphere good staff helpful and friendly. I think we over ordered a bit but everyone had plenty to eat. The gambas pil pil always goes down a treat as do the meatballs and chicken skewers. A bit of bread on the table would have been a nice extra. But I suppose we could have ordered. Nice to have an extra specials menu I had the lamb skewers which were small but tasty and only 3 so if you are sharing it would have been nice for 4. Will go again as I really en joyed it.

We had a lovely evening at Tapas 47. The food was really lovely, very fresh, tasty and lots of choice. The wine we chose on recommendation, was also very nice. Very friendly and helpful service by all members of the team. I was served a complimentary dessert (with a candle) because the owner had overheard my husband mention that it was my birthday. Such a lovely and thoughtful touch! We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend Tapas 47!

We’re very lucky that Tapas 47 is pretty much on our doorstep and have visited every couple of months or so, since they opened. It’s such a welcoming atmosphere with the friendliest staff. Now to the food….its amazing! Really good varied selection of tapas and incredibly authentic. My daughter loves the calamari and one portion is never enough; in fact we always end up over ordering as we are so eager to have a bit of everything! The olives are like nothing I’ve tasted before - even in Spain. The portions are generous and very reasonably priced. I can’t speak highly enough of this place - we love it and any opportunity to go out for food - this is usually top of the list. It’s a must visit if you are in the area and if you live in the area and haven’t been…you need to go.

Excellent lunch in Whalley.. This was our first visit to Tapas 47 in Whalley. Both of our sons and partners have been on numerous occasions and rave about it. Now we know why. The food is varied well cooked and well presented. Service was first class as was the restaurant decor. Would certainly recommend a visit and it won’t be our last. Excellent !!!

Tonight was our second visit to Tapas 47 and it won't be our last. The food, the atmosphere, the staff are fab. It is a true Tapas restaurant. The food choice is great, be warned the portions are generous. The choice is great and the drink menu is extensive. Ellie gave great customer service on both our visits. Lovely to sit in a booth tonight (usually for larger groups) but we were early so lucky to get one. We highly recommend Tapas 47 if Tapas is your bag. Can't wait until our next visit.

Unauthentic Spanish tapas, patatas bravas looked and tasted like frozen chips and a bland tomato sauce on top. Anemic calamari with next to no batter, soggy and flavourless. Awful atmosphere and staff were not attentive

Visited here recently with my husband. We had high hopes and were not disappointed. The service and food were incredible! Personal favourites were the croquettes and almond tart.

Treated to a Mothers day Brunch which was excellent. Warm and cosy atmosphere. Well worth a visit

This is a hidden gem had brunch with my daughter and grandson they were so accommodating the food was fabulous staff superb not in your face, we will be back very soon cannot recommend enough x

We stopped here to eat after a local walk. Wow! What a little gem. We received a very friendly welcome from the staff and were seated immediately, even though they were catering for a large party. We chose 4 dishes which were a selection of fish, chicken, veggie etc. All were piping hot, served promptly and were absolutely delicious. Washed down with a pint of the lager (I can’t remember the name but it was superb). I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back next time we are in town. If you haven’t been, go next time you are in Whalley, you won’t be disappointed. 11/10

Visited with friends as Tapas 47 has vegan options. The food and service throughout our visit was excellent. The front of house team especially the young waitress with blonde hair (didn't get her name) was brilliant. We had various meat/fish tapas for our friends and my vegan husband and I had vegan croquetas served with vegan mayo, chickpea and spinach stew, garlic mushrooms and patatas bravas. Will definitely revisit and hope they introduce more vegan options.

Came here for brunch and it did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly, we were seen to very quickly too. The food was really good. I got the black pudding and chorizo hash with a poached egg. It's basically a breakfast patatas bravas! Very nice 👌 I will be back soon 😄

Had 5 dishes across the menu, all of which where very under-wellming, without question the poorest tapas I have had. The worst part of the experience was the lack of extraction in the kitchen, we ended up sticking of grease after sitting in the restaurant for less than 1 hour. Such a shame I was desperate for this place to be good.

Food was awful, not sure you can call this Spanish food. it is an insult to Spain. I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone that has taste buds as all food tastes like it's come out of the freezers at Iceland.

We arrived Thursday lunch, 4 oldsters, aged 291 in total. Getting settled & staying comfy was a bit of a challenge - replacement hips (1 each on average!) & bellies didn’t help. The welcome was great, a younger local woman & an older Mallorcan Spaniard....

A fabulous addition to whally. Portions are large and very tasty, some interesting sounding specials to try. Attentive staff, a quality establishment. I will be back to sample more when next in the area.

The best Spanish restaurant I have been to in England, I have lived in England for 5 years and I have never found a decent restaurant to eat Spanish food and we have finally found one with a Spanish cook too. Being celiac it is also difficult for me to eat in many restaurants, but in this restaurant almost the entire menu was gluten-free, so I was very surprised for the better. The food was super good, we finished it all. In addition, there were Spanish people working who took care of us and treated us very well. We will definitely be back very soon.

Since opening of this place in WhAlley we’ve been waiting for long to book a table and had high expectations. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectation. Although food was enjoyable but did not have the wow factor. We ordered ; calamari, meatball, varied croquets, garlic mushroom, and stuffed peppers. Calamari and meatball didn’t taste fresh- we could tell it was cooked from frozen. The garlic mushroom was bland and watery. Croquets was beautiful. Stuffed pepper was lovely. We felt that this restaurant got a lot of potential and expectation based on reviews but to maintain the high standard would need some improvement.

The food here is amazing. Everything we had was top quality. We had olives, calamari, s&p wings, chicken breast with paprika, garlic mushrooms and patatas bravas. Washed down with a lovely bottle of rioja white wine. I will definitely return. Keep up the good work, you deserve success.
