Thought we'd try here on the way back after a day out, on Bank Holiday Monday. First time we've ever been here, but we'll definitely be back. The staff were absolutely lovely & helpful. The lady that served us was really cheerful and welcoming. We got sauage, chips & curry sauce x2 and a sausage & chips to take out. It was so tasty, hot, fresh, brilliantly cooked and great portion sizes. The chips were really nice and the curry sauce a great flavour. The lady who served us told us there's 2 levels of spice available for the curry and also that it has little bits (not fruit) in it, making sure we were happy with what we were ordering. I have definitely found my favourite chippy in Preston and will definitely eat here again.
We were looking to find a good Indian takeaway due to our local one closing . We thought this would be the one we were disappointed……..
They forgot part of our order for delivery so we rang to let them know they said they would send it out so I asked to add to the order but to my frustration they said there would be an additional delivery charge even though they were coming back out to us with part of the forgotten order……
Wow so much for customer service obviously they don’t value their customers and don’t wish to keep them either !
I said don’t bother to add to the order . We ate our meal with half of it being cold due to waiting for the missing item .
The food was bland the sauce was tasteless and the potion of sauce was tiny more veg then sauce .
I understand that the price of food and cooking oil has increased but the quality of food should be maintained .
We will not be ordering from here again . They have lost the custom of someone who would have ordered each week .
So again we search for a suitable curry takeaway that offers good food and delivers good customer service the search continues ……..
I visited this morning the hotel to deliver something to one of the hotel guest where I received an excellent guest or stakeholder services by the reception member called Paul and one girl ambassador or receptionist at the hotel reception.
They helped me out of the box which is very admirable.
I found an impresive atmosphere and friendly communication between team members which indicates they have received a satisfactory training by the seniors.
Hope to see you again one day
Thanks

This café has kept up its standards of good, reasonably priced fare. Unfortunately, since Covid it has only operated as a 'takeaway' and is closed at the beginning of the week. Things will get back to normal sometime, in the meantime call in whilst out walking on Beacon Fell.
Enjoyed a coffee and a scone in the sunshine.
We arrived early but were seated straightaway. We were offered drinks and the menu.
We ate from the 2 courses menu for £26. Starters were crab donuts (a little fishy tasting if you know what I mean) and brisket croquettes were quite tasty.
Mains was steak and frittes and sea bream with crushed potatoes and park
Choi. However the pak choi was very over cooked and limp and not drained properly so spoilt the goats cheese veloute , making it very watery.
Deserts were strawberry crème brûlée - highlight of the meal and passion fruit tart.
All dishes beautifully presented and service very good.
ordered my food, not only did it turn up 2 hrs late when they said it would be 30 mins, cold and missing item! f**cking disgusting every time i order always disgusting! will never order again. also ordered cookie dough, cold rock solid and minimum chocolate and strawberries 🍓
Whenever I visit Preston this is my no 1 for fish & chips . Consistent quality food at reasonable prices .
Very friendly and good old fashioned service with a smile they appreciate your business .
Guild Hall Lancaster Road 2-6 The GuildHall, Preston PR1 1HT England, England
Been several times, as a couple, a family and as a large group.
Each time the food has never been anything other than exceptional. So tasty and fresh. Between us we have been through the menu nearly and none of us can fault anything on the menu. It is so good for Preston to have such a high standard Chinesse restaurant rather than the normal pile it high sell it cheap Chinesse buffet.
The service is normally very good, the ring a bell push a button from your table is also a very good idea.
Can’t wait to return again.
Thank you Mr Lams.
Went here as part of a large coach party, they were very organised and provided waiter service. There was a choice of three starters/mains & puddings all of which looked lovely and my choices and those of my party were lovely.
Good service all over.
