We arrived to our hotel in Liverpool around 5pm. After a long day travelling we decided to eat at this restaurant close by. So pleased we did, as it was a wonderful experience. Beautifully decorated. Excellent choice of dishes to try, friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended. Pity we cannot visit again as we live in Spain

Last minute booking for one night. Peter the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Received an upgrad to a quiet room with a street view on the 4th floor rather than overlooking the platform. Great location if arriving to Lime Street rail station and for walking to the major sights of Liverpool. Didn't take advantage of the 20% food and drink discount.

I had a really bad experience at this hotel as as I arrived, my room was not ready and the big guy in reception made me feel very threatened as he came across very aggressive and had a frightening look on his face. When I arrived to my room. One bed was not made The manager was very helpful, but the big guy was honestly scary to even look at. He should be sacked from this job as has know hospitality I don’t really leave Reviews or like to put a place down, but I had to put this up as the experience was that bad. I never experienced this experience in any other Premier in your as I am a truck driver and I stay in Premier Inn a lot, but this was the worst so far.

This is the best place to eat in Liverpool if you are looking for great food and amazing service. They have the best steak and the food is served in large portions. The staff is super friendly, specially Omar who is always very kind to us. I definitely recommend Toro’s.

Went for afternoon tea on sat 5/10/24 as a group of 5adults 2children. We had been 2 yrs earlier and it was amazing with food served on little picnic benches. However: to my disappointment, this time - the sandwiches (ham and mustard which tasted spoiled, cheese and onion tasted mediocre, curry wrap very bland and capers on bruscetta which never have I ever been served at afternoon tea??? was vile) were curling a little as if they had been prepped the day before and not stored correctly. The cakes were standard if not basic. Due to this we ordered 2 sets of fries and later on asked for 2 more portions which were not delivered but which wrre added to the bill (which we asked for removal of). Onto the service...the staff were very friendly but considering we had unlimited tea... we had to ask twice for refills and were the only guests in the restaurant for an hour so unsure why staff were not more prompt to offer refill. The atmosphere made it as considering we were alone, they had a DJ and brazilian dancers on and the dancers welcomed my 4 yr old and were happy to chat to her and have photos taken. Unfortunately would not be going back as not worth £20 a head.
