Amazing food and great atmosphere, friendly staff

I was visiting Liverpool for the first time and wanted to have brunch while exploring the city. Where I came across this gem. My family and I had brunch. It was wonderful our waiter made us feel at home. He chatted with us and gave suggestions on what activities to do while we waited for our food. I got desi sizzling steak special and a strawberry daiquiri. It filled me just enough to continue my adventure of discovering Liverpool. I would 100% recommend this place and I will be coming here before I leave Liverpool.

The food is amazing and perfectly priced, the steaks are too notch and don’t be fooled by the design and the menu that focuses on steak, the breakfast is to die for as well. Love it and the people who work here.

Had a lovely time at Toros, the food was delicious, service prompt and friendly, and it was an overall great experience. Just be aware the portion sizes are huge and i always struggle to finish if I get both appetisers and a main, which is not a problem for me as they happily gave me a box to pack away what I couldn't finish. Food is halal which is wonderful and I'd happily come here again

Honestly. The best takeaway we have had in a long time. Find that most takeaways are over priced for what they are. Toros is not the cheapest place, but it is definitely worth every penny. We will be reordering.

I ordered a steak, cooked medium. Paper thin ribeye arrived cooked well done. I wasn't given cutlery and the waiter seemed totally lost. Really bad service at a time when the restaurant wasn't full. They were generous with the side serving of vegetables though. I would definitely not recommend.

Came here for lunch. Nice interior design with plenty of seats. Comfortable environment with soft music. Tastes were amazing, portions exceed the expectation. Price worths all. Friendly staffs.

Brilliant juicy steaks..yummy food and desserts all under one roof..

I don’t have a bad word to say about this place. Service was so respectful. They even gave little touches like an extra plate without us asking which shows they know how to provide a good service. Food was so good and fast. Music was not too loud and not too quiet. I just can’t recommend this place enough. Id definitely come here again.

First time visiting Toro's tonight. Food was amazing and portions are very large.( I should've gone for the kids menu) Steak was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. We will definitely be visiting again when we are back here in Liverpool. Thankyou so much for the great service, see you again soon.

The worst dining experience I have had in a long time. I ordered a rare Rib eye, I’m not sure what cut it was, maybe topside or rump but it was as tough as leather. The starter of frozen calamari arrived after the main. No wine or beers here. I’m a non drinker but my wife like a beer. Service was average. Coleslaw was bad, tartare sauce was bad. The only nice thing was the rustic chips. The veg was hard too. Honestly I would never ever return even for free. The food is awful. The atmosphere is dull too.

Nice place with nice narrow ambiance. The restaurant located on very busy street. Service is quick staff is very polite and friendly. But their serving skills are very unprofessional they been serving on our table over the partition just passing the plates in hands. Another thing its just common on any Toro’s to serve steak ok sizzlers. Well i had T-bone on the sizzler first time ever, my personal opinion that you don’t serve steaks on sizzlers thats not very continental way of dining.

Visited Toro’s over the weekend with my son and brother, service was amazing was seated right away, food came out quick and portion sizes are excellent not to mention quality was amazing too! Very pleased with my visit to Toro’s bold street, would definitely recommend. We all got the toros special 👌 staff was pleasant especially the manager I think he said was Moroccan didn’t catch his name very helpful and welcoming chap

Excellent food and excellent staff (very warm and friendly)… the atmosphere was lovely with families in the restaurant and vibrant chatter… lots of people having a great time. Not pretentious as other places can be…. We will definitely go again and again if we need our steak itch to be scratched when in Liverpool.

This is the best place to eat in Liverpool if you are looking for great food and amazing service. They have the best steak and the food is served in large portions. The staff is super friendly, specially Omar who is always very kind to us. I definitely recommend Toro’s.

Steak and veg was really nice. service and facilities were bad. We waited far too long, felt like we were forgotten about, and then the food came an our sideplates were forgotten about and we had to ask for them. Thats slow, whatever, but then some customers come and sit to our right and clearly know the staff. They get VIP treatment, staff shouting over customers cracking jokes. Their drinks and food come immediately, they've finished eating before our drinks come. Just makes you feel like you're in the wrong place. Toilets were gross. Staff seemed unprofessional. Steak was great. Wont be going again.

The food is good but not exceptionnal and we waited way too long to get our food (almost an hour wait). The service is at bare minimum. I've asked to change seats because of the cold (door keeps being open cause of people coming in), but they didn't want to pretending there wasn't any available place while cleary there was. There are many good restaurants around on this street, I don't think it worth eating there for that price and for that wait.

I have been a few times now since the store has re-opened. The first time the service and the food was excellent. However the most recent time the service was not as good, we asked for food to come altogether and it didn’t, one of our dishes came out late. The pasta only comes with one small piece of garlic bread too, in comparison to the portion size. Overall, the atmosphere and the food is great. Would recommend the chicken skewers and the steak sandwich. 😋

Everything always top notch. Steak always perfect. Chicken mandi also very very good. Desserts need a tad more work but rest is perfect ⭐️

Chicken wings were really bad and old

Staff were very unhelpful with our order. Food took over an hour to arrive and people who arrived after us had received food before. Had to ask 2 different staff members what was going on with the order and we weren’t told anything. Found the service to be overall disappointing.

We visited on a weekday for a quick dinner and were not disappointed. Restaurant is nicely laid out, and staff were very friendly. We got seated immediately and shown to our table. Food arrived on time, all seasoned nicely and cooked to perfection. The food portions are massive and prices were reasonable. All in all, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend Toro's Steakhouse in Liverpool

The atmosphere at Toro’s Steakhouse in Liverpool is nice. The 48-day matured steak was good, but it was cooked on a gas grill. I would have preferred a charcoal grill for better flavor. The sides with the steak were tasty. The staff is friendly, which made the visit pleasant.

My boyfriend was craving a steak and I was craving some calamari, went to this place and it genuinely is one of the best restaurants. I do not usually eat steak but here it was amazing. The cookie desert was delicious and the staff were so friendly. Definitely recommend!!

We came for a quick dinner.. The place felt really cold and there was no atmosphere whatsoever. No music-just a chef listening to some tunes then switching it to a football match.. 😂 That was bizzare in my opinion that no one told him to even turn it down? Everyone just worked as it wasn't happening? 🙄We got recommendations for this place so we were expecting the best meal ever... Very average steak quality for £24.. We ordered rib eye one medium and one medium rare.. So we got one completely raw - blue and one almost well done. 😅 Nobody came to check back if we were happy with everything so we didn't even have a chance to let them know.. Anyway we tried to eat as much as possible and just stood up, paid and left.. What a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend nor would I come back here.

By far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had! My husband, baby, and I were visiting Liverpool for the first time, and we decided to try Toro’s restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a terrible mistake that completely ruined our evening. The service was beyond disappointing. I ordered the surf and turf with chicken, but to my surprise, I was charged the price of a sirloin steak because, according to the staff, “that’s just how it comes as standard.” It felt like a blatant way to overcharge customers, especially since I hadn’t even ordered steak. To make things worse, the prawns that came with my meal were raw in the middle. When I pointed this out to the waiter, instead of offering to cook a new batch, he took them away and brought them back completely burnt on the outside, yet still raw on the inside. After telling him once again that the prawns were still undercooked, I was completely put off from eating them. No further attempt was made to rectify the situation. At the end of it all, I was left paying £38 – and that was with a 10% discount – for what amounted to nothing but chips, a small portion of mash, and some burnt onions. Everything was practically inedible. The chicken itself was vile, tasting like it had been mixed with something unpleasant that ruined the flavour completely. Despite the issues with the food, they refused to offer any proper compensation beyond the small discount. My birthday was completely ruined, and I left feeling utterly disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Avoid it at all costs!

Attended Toro’s on Tuesday evening past for the first time with my wife and daughter. We were over from Ireland for a few days. Felt obligated to write a review as our meals (ordered the sirloin specials) were excellent. The staff very pleasant and professional. We will be visiting Liverpool soon again and Toro’s will be on our menu .

Awesome experience in this steakhouse. (Saw somebody ordered the porterhouse.. woohoo ! Next time!) Manager and staff are all friendly. Portion is wow! Food is good. To top it all, a dedicated place for me to perform my prayers in the restaurant. Well done!

I have been to Toros many times and each time I have absolutely loved it. The food, the staff, the atmosphere is always amazing. I will always recommend this restaurant to anyone in Liverpool. A special thank you to Omar, who as always, gave us great service tonight :)

Staff here are lovely, Omar the manager was very hands on and cares about the customers receiving a good service. The portions are very generous and my Toros steak special was excellent, lovely combination on the sizzling skillet with two sides and a sauce included in the price. My husband had the chicken Mandi which was full of flavor and tasted delicious slow cooked, derived with two dips, salad and rice. My daughter had the halloumi skillet which was again very tasty and great value for money with chips, coleslaw, mushroom sauce and skillet veg. We also tried the sharing chocolate and icecream skillet dessert which was beautiful and filled any spare space we had in our dessert stomachs. Would recommend for all to try this restaurant, there is something on the menu for everyone. The starters also looked delicious but sadly we knew we wouldn’t have room for this course as the portion sizes are so generous. All in all lovely restaurant in a vibrant area of the city, thanks to the staff and Omar.

I ordered steak and I am a huge steak lover and in my opinion this was not a piece of steak I don't know what meat this was but will never try this ever again.

The food was cold when it came, Our drinks took ages to come, Not worth the money. Got 2 wrong meals, no offer if discount for their mistakes. Won't be going or recommending again.

I have had my lunch with my friend this evening in Toro’s steakhouse, i had chicken fillet it was delicious just like what i wanted. I was served by Mohammed, he is very friendly and attentive, thank you Mohammed for making my experience enjoyable:)

The moment I entered the restaurant, I was warmly greeted by their waiter. The restaurant was cozy and clean. Food portion was massive, enough for two to be kept full. The Lamb Mandi was one of the flavourful ones ive ever tried.

T-Bone steak was fantastic and juicy and chewy.

My wife went with my son for his 11th Birthday and absolutely loves steak! She asked for a plain steak for him but when it came it was covered in a garlic sauce and some other kind of herbs which even my wife didn’t like👎🏻 she asked nicely for a refund as it wasn’t what she ordered and all they said was it all comes pre coated 😱 I mean come on a steak house that can’t even do there own steaks🤦🏼 she requested a refund again but to no avail 😡 Apparently the manager was very rude and dismissive of the situation so very disappointing! I never leave bad reviews at all but because it was my son’s Birthday and the fact that my wife never complains I am. What ever happened to the customer is always right and she was! Never going to this chain ever again 👎🏻 stay away if you like a plain steak!!!!

There is an Arab restaurant in service called Omar. It is wonderful and I recommend it. The steak and meat burger are delicious. They have a wonderful sauce that is worth trying and it is worth the price. A steak dish with potatoes is amazing.

Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough! My first time visiting with my cousin, I’m not a big steak person but was advised by staff of options and have extremely enjoyed it!! Omar and Sahir were absolutely amazing; as someone who also works on bold street in hospitality I think they’re an absolute asset to the business!!!!

The second time here went for daughters 18th ,last time was about 5-6 years ago , better this time than last time good service and very friendly staff Food was good just a couple food items could have been done better Lamb chops were cold and barely cooked otherwise would probably be given 5 stars Nice decor worth a vist

Regulars at this restaurant only because the food seldom disappoints. Only this time, although the burger was great, the chicken madeira was mediocre and cold. Asked for NHS discount, but they don’t do that here. Just a little miscommunication with the lovely lady taking our order - I was told she was new and hence did not know much so ended up bringing a wrong order - (hence we also paid more) which is why giving three stars. It’s sad we used to love this restaurant. Unfortunately, this place is deteriorating.

The food was excellent the service as well, i really liked the hospitality of moroccan stuff especially Omar, if you are in Liverpool and you wanna eat Halal, delicious food , i highly recommend it.

Shocking service!!!! Don't even know where to start. Staff is completely untrained, unattentive, and ignorant. Had to prompt a server with bored expression to take our order to which she asked another server to take it... Drinks served without glasses and none offered, other customers were asking for them constantly. Food arrived after reasonable wait but my friend dish had a hair sitting right on top of it that nobody has noticed. We we send dish back to the kitchen it has clearly been replated not replaced which is utterly disgusting, no interest from the manager and nothing offered as apology and not even apology offered. Absolute disgrace!!!!! Table of 4 sitting next to us got food served at different times and was laughing at the experience... When we paid the bill (full amount) another table was sending food back.... Will not be back ever again and will advise everyone to avoid. I work in hospitality for over 20 years and never seen such ridiculous standards anywhere!!! Even McDonalds have better customer service.....

Had a weekend in Liverpool and found this amazing restaurant . Food is ‘ banging ‘ , honestly one of the best meals we have had in years ( we live in London and like to dine out ) . Staff are lovely , really friendly and warm . My only criticism , I use that word lightly , is service is a tiny bit slow .. but honestly guys it is worth the wait .. ❤️

Writing this review on behalf of our party of nine tonight. Absolutely amazing service from all the staff, they were bubbly, kind and willing to help us with any requests. The food was unbelievably tasty!!! We were delighted to try all the new options on the new menu and glad we did☺️ big shoutout to Omar and Ibraheem who looked after us the most tonight. We will be back again.

Ordered the sizzler, and the steak was lovely. The two sides were horrendous 11 chips and a tablespoon of coleslaw with a few shreds of so called onions on the bottom with four, inch long green bean and one, yes one piece of broccoli and that was miniscule I kid you not. Not happy and not going back...

Had an awful experience here, which is really sad because I loved this place before hand. The menu clearly states Coke and Diet Coke, instead we were served off brand karma Cola which we would have been okay with, if we had known what we were ordering. It felt like deception. The steak I got wasn't the right cut of meat and was bland and metallic on the palette. The staff were all stood round talking to one another, ignoring customers and eating behind the counter. The redesign makes the entire place lose its charm and feels very "Quick Service." The only redeeming quality was, after waiting 10 minutes for the servers to notice us, that they didn't charge us for the near untouched food or drink. Sadly, won't be returning unless some serious changes are made.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Toro's Steakhouse in Liverpool! The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, exactly as ordered.

It’s closed now. I visited yesterday as been to Manchester branch and loved their food and services but unfortunately was closed.

Place is closed for refurbishment! Why negative people on here giving 1 star because it’s closed need to give their head a wobble ! CAN’T WAIT TILL IT REOPENS !!!
