What an amazing gem of a place. Stopped here for lunch this afternoon and boy we were in for a treat. The waiter was brilliant, very helpful and made great recommendations on what to try. We had some halumi which was gorgeous. My donner wrap was to die for, the rice was soo tasty and the flatbreads were just beautiful. The whole experience was fantastic and the Turkish coffee was well appreciated. Great service with even better amazing food, what more could you ask for

Fabulous veggie and vegan cafe in the centre of Lancaster. Excellent choice of food and drinks, fab range of salads, a warm friendly welcome and good playlist!

Stunning! Chef knows what people want and itâs served well and with quality ingredients. Dirty fries are amazing, burgers are stunning and the âfusionâ of favourite flavours compliment all the dishes...... If you havenât tried the Sunday Roast, youâre missing a trick.....BEST IN LANCASHIRE!!!!!!

I definite must visit when in Lancaster. The wine, charcuterie & cheese were all fantastic and enjoyed in wonderfully chilled surroundings. Weâll be back next time weâre in the area!

Do yourself a favour and put this place on your list of places to visit! Had the Avocado on toast with sweet chilli jam and roasted vegetables. Topped with hemp seeds, sesame seeds and sprouts. Have eaten this a lot in various places but this was absolutely incredible and the best Iâve had anywhere. Coffee was with oat milk and robust but incredibly smooth. We know Iâm not easily pleased with coffee but this was extremely good. Sadly this place isnât round the corner for me but I will 100% be back on my next visit! Need an option to give 10 starts.

We were told this pub was the roughest in Lancaster. So of course it was a 'must try' for us. Let me tell you, this pub is a bit dated, but it's a great little pub. The landlady was very chatty and made us feel extremely welcome. The locals were friendly and it had a nice atmosphere. So don't judge this pub based on others views, we really liked it and will definitely back on our next visit.

Had a fantastic lunch here. The menu is interesting but not too big to be overwhelming. Really great choice of vegetarian options, each of us had a different veggie dish and every meal was tasty, well balanced, full of flavour and obviously not out of a packet. Portions were a good size, big enough to be generous and value for money but not so big as to be heavy. The service was friendly but not in your face and we felt like valued customers. There is a lot of choice in Lancaster for lunch but this is certainly one of the best we have tried. The Assembly Rooms suffers a bit from being just out of the passing trade of the town centre but this cafe is a hidden gem so don't miss out!

What a fantastic little cafe, a welcome addition to the Assembly Rooms Emporium, which occupies a lovely 18th century Grade II listed heritage building. Such a nice menu. All home made food. I had a lovely steaming bowl of Turkish bean soup, a tasty, freshly-made sandwich, and a pot of tea. I could not resist the cabinet full of gorgeous cakes, scones and tray bakes. The Lavender Cake was delicious. Very friendly service. I hope to return. (You can takeaway/ take home, and also pre-order sweet treats for special occasions).
