Really nice little place. It's not a huge cafe so seating is limited. The food is really well cooked, have been a couple of times and ordered different things and haven't been disappointed. You can also create your own breakfast plate (that i had to do for my toddler) and there was no fuss or issues doing so. The cakes are always nice there and a good selection and the coffees are lovely. Never had any issues with staff theyre always friendly and helpful.

£20 for a Sunday Roast which is good value for money, however the meal wasn’t great, everything luke warm, carrot and swede mash was good just a touch cold, roast potatoes EXCELLENT, Gravy again just warm, cauliflower ok again warm, beef was cooked pink which was lovely but a bit tasteless :( service was very good indeed - I will try this again in the future and hope that the meal is a touch better.

Eaten here so may times, but tonight ordered a take away to collect. Food was ready at the time of arrival and was still piping hot by the time I got home. Food was delicious as always and at £8 for a pasta dish (on offer), amazing value. Definitely recommend to eat in or take away 💯

Lovely little cafe near Rivvy Pike, very pretty gardens in woodland setting. Went in hoping for a light lunch, but was told food had sold out due to unexpected peak in business on a lovely sunny day (food being served to other prior visitors did look tasty!). Happy to order coffee and cake which were brought outside to us. Cakes were very tasty and staff were friendly and attentive. Thought the cost of £18+ for 2 cakes, a coffee and a Coke was on the expensive side, but otherwise a nice change from the usual cafes we stop by.

We ordered Two eggs Benedict and a Birkacre breakfast The menu stated served with crispy bacon for the Benedict the bacon in question was full of undercooked bacon fat very inedible and unappetising and the hollandaise sauce was very bland and acidic tasting would not order this again the Birkacre breakfast was very good though and the lady who served us was absolutely wonderful so will return but just not for the eggs Benedict

Only around the corner from us, not saying it's my local, but do like a couple of scoops in here, plus can take my dogs in, right next to canal so perfect for ramblers, outside area too. Apparently they have karaoke too, which is good for me, recently changed hands, and all seems very good, love the decor in the open area, nicely broken up, will be frequented more as I love to support local businesses in Adlington.

Ordered a takeaway from here this evening on my son's recommendation, as he is a more regular customer. Between four of us we had Mixed starter for two, King Prawn Fried Rice, Vegetable Curry, Sweet & Sour, Chow Mein and Chips. All of the food was delicious. Well cooked, freshly prepared and tasty. Staff were friendly and efficient. Due to the location this takeaway doesn't get the recognition it deserves and not many people know this takeaway is in this location. If I were to say anything about the place, it would be that the waiting area had no heating and being winter, it is COLD ! The second is that there is no debit card machine. It is CASH ONLY or there is an option to pay by BANK TRANSFER before leaving with your order. I would order from here again and RECOMMEND to others to give them a try.

We got a voucher for a 3 course meal for 2 with processco. When we arrived we were seated quickly, drinks order taken and menu provided. We were told about the extra supplements for 1 starter, 2 of the mains and 1 dessert! Drinks came quickly and we had barely touched them before being offered more. Eventually the order was taken. We ordered all three courses at once. It was very slow but the food was lovely. The goats cheese tart to start was delicious. We both had suppliment mains (steak and duck) but they were really nice and the sticky toffee pudding was out of this world. Somewhere that actually gives you enough toffee sauce! Amazing. We enjoyed it, with drinks (2 diets cokes and 2 alcholic) and the supplements it nearly doubled the cost of the voucher but we enjoyed it.
