Called again to the sea view due to the food and service is really good but it maybe our last due to once again dogs barking in the eating areas such a shame

So cozy. The service was extremely good. It felt like home. We loved it so much that we ended up going every day, up to two times a day, during our stay in Chorley to try as many dishes as possible.

Great local pub. Good food and freindly atmosphere. Regular weekend events and live music.

Quite a while since we visited so can't remember service and attitude but certainly remember thinking we'll visit again if nearby.

Came with my family for lunch. We all had fish and chips which were wonderful and love that they do a smaller portion for lunch. The staff and owner fantastic as always. It’s my go to place!

Great Pub! Good old-fashioned food in a comfortable, friendly environment. Three real ales on tap. Close to a bus stop served by a frequent service.

We came again on the Sunday 29th (Not booked)But luckily Rachael managed to find us a table. Then she moved us to a better table.Excellent food & service.We will be visiting Twice a month on Sundays in the future. The next time I will phone & book. Regards Tony,Lesley & Ziggy.

Great first experience. We visited yesterday for a friend’s birthday and was really impressed with the service and food. The staff were really friendly, we enjoyed it that much, we have booked for November.

First time and unfortunately likely last time we will visit. Took 20 minutes to take our drinks order after being seated at a make shift table despite being very quiet. Perhaps we were just unlucky.

We weren't sure how accessible the Sea View would be with a wheelchair but we needn't have worried. A very kind gentleman came outside & put a ramp down for us to get inside. The food was lovely (home made chicken pie/peri chicken burger) and service unbeatable. Decor is quite old fashioned which is just fine by us! Couldn't beat the helpful staff and nice food. Definitely one to visit!

Offers a good varied menu, food is very good and has a fresh home cooked taste to it . Sunday roasts one of the best we’ve had and good value. Staff friendly and welcoming.

I went to the Sea View for the first time a few days ago, and I loved it! Everything was perfect - the food, the atmosphere and the friendly staff who made us so welcome. I'll be back!

The beer festivals and firework displays are not to be missed. A decent local pub with good food. We left it late this evening to attend the fireworks only to find it sold out and we couldn't enter. You could still get served at the bar, so not at a loss and the firework display was good, although maybe not as good as last year (a little more sporadic this year, maybe we couldn't see the lower level fireworks from where we were positioned on the carpark?) We'll be back again before Christmas. Just wish the pub was nearer...

Great staff & food , last minute booking for a Sunday lunch no trouble at all for them to fit us in, log fire is a plus on a cold Sunday after a walk.

We have dined here before and it has always been good and our recent visit was no exception. Service was friendly and prompt. The food was good, not portions that were too big to finish but certainly enough. The atmosphere was friendly and clearly there were a number of regulars - always a good sign.

We came here shortly after shopping next door. We received a very warm welcome. The atmosphere was brilliant and the food was fantastic. The lovely lady also took our new born baby for a stroll around the pub as she started to cry so as we could eat our lunch. I would highly recommend The Sea View.

Nice and relaxed atmosphere in the TV room watching the footy with a chicken, leek and ham pie and a pint! The food is consistently good at the Sea View.

We had the peri peri chicken burger, the honest burger and kid chicken nuggets and chips. Everything was spot on! Very fresh and extremely tasty!

This is a lovely traditional family run pub, staff are always super friendly and food and drink are great.

The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was very warmly. The customer service was fantastic. Our newborn was crying and the lady kindly took her for a stroll around the pub whilst we ate our lunch. We can’t speak highly enough of the sea view. We are looking forward to returning very soon.

Lovely old building, food nice, puddings beautiful, obviously the chef's speciality is desserts. The staff were very welcoming, very professional and hard working. But we came out for a relaxing lunch for my partners birthday,we weren't even going to try here, and we really shouldn't have. What ruined it was listening the manager/owner swearing at the staff. I've lost track of the amount of times he's said the f word. I don't mind bad language but aggressively said to your young employees is bullying. And wouldn't be acceptable in any other work environment. If my children would have been with us I would have walked out without paying the bill. This guy needs to give himself a good shake, and put his business and staff first instead of his own ego. We most definitely will never return. £90 not well spent.

The Sea View has been with the same family for many years. No wonder it continues to maintain such an excellent reputation. Food made on the premises and it shows with the high quality. Never had an individual meat pie quite like the ones served yesterday. Top notch! Lee Thompson heads up a great team with nothing left to chance when it comes to service. Always willing to discuss, agree, and implement any special arrangements. Only downside we found was that when requesting water for the table, it was served in plastic cups/glasses. Just didn't fit in with everything else which was impeccable.

Food and Service to a high standard, but the prices, a good bit more than other local pubs, this said, I had an expensive sweet, but it was superb.

Lee and the team looked after us during the run up to the celebration and throughout checking we had everything we needed. The function room was perfect for the occasion and looked beautiful with the decorations we were allowed to put up. Vegetarian and vegan friendly. People highly recommended the meat dishes as well … especially the pies. Thank you very much for providing a perfect afternoon.

Dreadful food we were entertaining visitors from abroad & took them to The Sea View it was a very bad experience. Staff not very attentive food was dreadful will not visit again.

Thank you once again to the staff at Seaview for a lovely lunch. We used the function room for a get together for friends who all used to work together. The food was all brought out at the same time, was hot and very good. Everyone really enjoyed it and we had a great afternoon.

Splendid "local" excellent chef. Friendly efficient staff good food freshly cooked. NoTV except in room set aside for it! And then only for sports.
