Cosmopolitan in Chorley

Just off the high street in a quiet area of Chorley is this impressive fully utilised bar and restaurant. Outdoor seating with two floors inside gives good space and seating for diners, drinkers alike. Varied dining and menu or cocktails and drinks served by smartly dressed and attentive staff. Thoroughly enjoyable food and drinks.

Me and my friends came in for a few cocktails and the music was great, drinks were so nice and Josh was very helpful, friendly and polite. Will definitely be coming again 😁

Perfect evening....ambience sooo relaxing....lovely food and excellent service....this whole experience would have been treble the cost in Manchester....just such a nice place with real authentic dedication

We enjoyed a lovely meal here last night. We didn't have a reservation but were seated promptly and offered drinks whilst we looked at the menu. The service was excellent and the food delicious - I can highly recommend the mushroom ravioli and my husband enjoyed the chicken Sunday special; we both had the mandarin posset with shortbread which was light with a great punch of citrus. We had a really lovely evening and will certainly be returning in the weeks to come. Thank you to the team for a fab experience!

Visitedfrom Australia to see family.went to the Cosmopolitan for Sunday lunch.I could not have booked a better place, The staff there were attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu.we had a traditional English Sunday roast of roast beef and it was all cooked to perfection. Lovely food and delicious cocktails in a nice relaxing atmosphere

Recommended by friends, they weren't wrong. What a fantastic place to eat, the menu was varied with a good choice. The food itself, lamb meatballs with tomato sauce and calamari for starters, followed by paella and Sirloin Steak (served with the biggest steak knife I have ever seen) all 4 dishes were cooked to perfection, tasted fantastic and could not be faulted. The staff were very attentive without being overbearing, service was ideally spaced between the courses. Great meal, thank you

Popped for lunch as a couple. Service was brilliant. Food was tasty hot and fresh! The chicken strips are to die for. The menu has a great variety of options. The restaurant has recently been added to the taste card too so a cheeky 25% off the bill. Bonus! We Will definitely come back to try the bottomless brunch!

Came for my daughters 18th birthday meal and woe it's was fabulous. The service was fast and efficient. We felt welcome from the moment we walked through the door. The food was amazing and the hospitality was just spectacular. We will 100% be back soon, we loved every minute.

Visited for dinner before going to open mic night and so happy we did! We were served by Elmas and Reg who are the best front of house persons we have encountered for a while, I had the seabass which was gorgeous and my husband had the Paella which he says the best he has had! Elmas knowledge of the wine to pair with our dishes were very impressive and the overall ambience, service and food was an absolute delight, surprisingly all at a very reasonable cost! We ordered the starter to take out to give to the host of the open mic night and they even wrote a little not for him... "Bon Appetit" he too was blown away with the food! We told everyone we spoke to in the pub and they told us they had all heard brilliant reviews too! Our first visit was fabulous and will definitely not be our last! Interesting indoor and outdoor vibe going on. We called on Saturday around 9 and it seemed to be winding down although could have been a post dining lull. Wide variety of drinks.we didn't eat. Staff were friendly and helpful, very noisy upstairs. Worth a visit.

We'd booked a table online for 2 people, we arrived on time but had to wait for a table (not sure why as there were lots of empty tables). When were seated a drinks order was promptly taken. We both had a starter and main. The portion size is lacking, however, the food was tasty. We'd go again but possibly not our first choice.

10 of us had a fantastic meal tonight to celebrate my daughter and her fiancé’s engagement. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic value on the early bird menu. We all really enjoyed our meals. A nice choice in all three courses. One minor thing is that Becks blue was the only alcohol free beer option. It’s nice to have a couple to chose from please. We all had a great time and will definitely return. Thanks.

i'm really sorry for the low star review but it will make sense. We booked for 7 people to finalise my wedding details on an upcoming cruise. We arrived early so we could ask them to hold on to some presents we brought for the females in our family. The staff was friendly on arrival. we expected to stay here for about 5 hours but was asked to leave by 4.14pm as another table was coming in, that's never good asking a table of 7 to leave so we had to punish them by not spending after that. This is the frst time in a very long time that i'v enot tipped and do you know what, i don't even feel guilty about it. a red haired woman came over at 3.45pm and said you have the table until 4.15, then the staff came along with dessert menus we all declined due to being asked to leave but 2 wanted them do that was fine. They ran out of wine that i like and thought i could just drink anything, listen,...... when you have money we have the choice to be fussy. i was going to go on large bacardi and cokes but after being asked to leave, we just didn't buy any more. We had starters and steaks, the food was nice, no complaints there. We left at 4.17pm because we are above the law and went to the shed and the garden, we couldnt talk about wedding stuff there so we went to the local Wetherspoons called the sir Henry Tate, we had desserts, a crap load of wine and other drinks and we only left there at about 9pm, With a bill at The Cosmpolitan of £195 and they over charged us on our bill sp PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL, no one likes a thief. , Our bill at the Wetherspoons was £268 and the manager was very pleased we came along, and gave us some free treats. Why didn't we just go there in the first place. If you choose the Cosmopolitan i hope you have a nice time, but they'll never see us again.

This is the second time we have been for the bottomless brunch and both times one of the reasons we have come back is the service from Max I felt for him putting up with a big group as there was 10 of us and we drink fast but he really did well and made sure we always had drinks in hand and nothing was too much trouble the food was so lovely as well :)

Come here for the best steak of your life!! I'm not kidding it's fab. I am in love with their jumbo zombie cocktails too and have probably purchased this drink more than any other person has, but who cares its DELICIOUS! highly recommend. Staff are super friendly and manager also takes time to come chat with you! I was excited to hear him say they also cater for weddings, I've started to sway towards this idea!! We love the sharing camembert too very very tasty. FANTASTIC range of gluten free we will definitely keep returning :)

Only popped in for the first time for a quick bite for lunch midweek, so was quiet. But the manager on duty was so polite and friendly. The cosmopolitan in Chorley serves delicious food and has the best cocktails in Lancashire. The establishment is run by Regie who makes the whole experience very special.

An amazing meal along with great service and a friendly atmosphere! We opted for the steak deal - available on a Thursday - which consists of two steaks and a bottle of wine for £35. Other mains are available on the deal. The steak melted in your mouth and was cooked to perfection. We also opted for sticky toffee pudding for dessert and its probably the best sticky toffee pudding we've ever tasted. Thankyou.

Went to the Cosmopolitan yesterday for a first date. Was greeted by a lovely waitress and immediately loved the place. It’s so warm and cozy. Feels like a little tucked away piece of heaven. Food is delicious and the cocktails are even more so. Will definitely be going here again!

Had an amazing night here. Initially booked a reservation for 5:30 for a date which turned out to be a lot longer than expected. Food was great quality and cooked perfectly, however the real draw had to be the cocktails and the service.
