Cosmopolitan in Chorley

From the minute we walked in we were put at ease. We were offered two different areas of the restaurant a quiet one and a slightly rounder one where there were some bottomless brunch going on . Opted for the more atmospheric side and they picked us a perfect table . The evening we were served by Matthew, Max and Alesia. I’m a pretty fussy eater, but no matter what we asked for a little tweets here and there to the menu everything was done without a fuss. The food was lovely, and I can’t wait to go back. Our first visit and it won’t be our last. The manager was lovely also . We had gammon and carbonara with a garlic tomato and cheese bread to Start . All was perfect .

Had a lovely meal and staff really friendly and helpful. Great gluten free options and even had gluten free seeded bun. Recommend.

Aiesha was our main server who was brilliant and kept us topped up on our bottomless brunch. Great value for what we had and included a wide variety of drinks

Been a few times, and the food is excellent. Been with a few different groups and they all enjoyed it too. I have to give a shout out to a beautiful waitress who was clearly busy and took time out for a chat and a laugh, probably just humouring us but she was lovely.

An absolutely fantastic restaurant owned by Recep and family, we worked together on the famous QE2 , and Recep has brought many Cunard standards to his business, plus, fab menu and quality food at very reasonable price, as for the cocktails they are second to none, you must experience this restaurant if ever in Chorley, you won't be disappointed Dave T

We came for my birthday meal last night and we ate from the steak night menu, mainly because the seabass I wanted wasn't available on the main menu. Everything was fantastic, lovely food and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We definitely recommend this place.

I was very disappointed, the flat breads with cheese and tomato were like cardboard, they snapped apart. I just had a Cosmopoltian Burger that was very dry and the cheese had gone hard on top, like it had been under the heaters far to long. I didn't complain as everyone else seemed to enjoy their mains. The sweet though, was very good.

We had a group booking for bottomless brunch. There were 15 of us. The venue is so beautiful. The staff are so lovely and friendly. We are seated away from the main bar in a lovely corner of the building. Our food arrived quickly and was tasty. The portions were huge, service of drinks was slow but this was understandable as it was very busy we waited almost 25 mins in between drinks so we often had finished our drinks as some options are in small glasses. Our server changed to a make member of staff who got quite flustered taking the whole group order as some of the girls had asked to order 2 drinks as we were waiting a while in between, he got a bit narky and started the whole order again which wasted about 10 mins. We spoke to our original server, and she was very apologetic and sorted us all out. I would definitely go back again ❤️

Outstanding. Saw it by chance whilst parking and it looked good. We were even more impressed when we went for lunch. A really nice place, the consistency of the decor gives it a Mediterranean feel. We found a wide choice on the menu and settled on three tapas and a grilled sea bass. The service was friendly and helpful. When the food arrived it was all excellent with really well balanced flavors. Through out the meal and most of the day we discussed who we would like to take with us next time we visit.

Went for a girls late afternoon tea yesterday and a fab choice of menus. My sister and daughter opted for rhe steaks which came with chips grilled tomato and field mushroom plus a choice of sauce accompanied with a bottle of house wine. I plumped for fhe sea bass which was accompanied with crispy potatoes chorizo and spinach. Beautifully cooked and fabulous service.

We attended the bottlemless brunch. Service was amazing, the choice of drinks was the best I've been too. Aaron our server was super friendly, and was there as soon as we needed. We will be back again.

Love love love cosmopolitan for bottomless brunch. I've been a few times. The staff go above and beyond on service and ensuring our glasses are never empty. This afternoon we had Arron as our waiter and he went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed both food and drinks. He could do to work on his jokes a little haha, but seriously made our ladies afternoon out a good one. A little loud and hard to have a conversation but i suppose thats part of the atmosphere. I had bottomless brunch at Cosmopolitan on a Saturday afternoon; the food was outstanding, the service was amazing (despite us being on the brunch, the staff couldn't get us enough). Cocktail's were disgustingly moreish! Aaron was our main server and he went above and beyond. We would be back again in a heartbeat!

Me and my boyfriend went for bottomless brunch on the 1st of June 2024 for the first time was served by Aaron who was a fantastic waitress really friendly and was fast with the drinks highly recommend all The waitresses are really helpful including Shaun the new lad who was really helpful also

Lovely bottomless brunch for a friends 50th ! 90 mins of cocktails and great mocktails served with delicious food. £35 per person. Chicken squewers were amazing! Service was great made us feel welcome and couldn’t do enough for us.

Just off the high street in a quiet area of Chorley is this impressive fully utilised bar and restaurant. Outdoor seating with two floors inside gives good space and seating for diners, drinkers alike. Varied dining and menu or cocktails and drinks served by smartly dressed and attentive staff. Thoroughly enjoyable food and drinks.

Me and my friends came in for a few cocktails and the music was great, drinks were so nice and Josh was very helpful, friendly and polite. Will definitely be coming again 😁

We enjoyed a lovely meal here last night. We didn't have a reservation but were seated promptly and offered drinks whilst we looked at the menu. The service was excellent and the food delicious - I can highly recommend the mushroom ravioli and my husband enjoyed the chicken Sunday special; we both had the mandarin posset with shortbread which was light with a great punch of citrus. We had a really lovely evening and will certainly be returning in the weeks to come. Thank you to the team for a fab experience!

Visitedfrom Australia to see family.went to the Cosmopolitan for Sunday lunch.I could not have booked a better place, The staff there were attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu.we had a traditional English Sunday roast of roast beef and it was all cooked to perfection. Will definitely visit there on my next trip from Australia next year'

Fabulous steaks, both cooked to perfection, one blue, one medium rare, we will be back and we highly recommend to everyone.

Lovely food and delicious cocktails in a nice relaxing atmosphere

Recommended by friends, they weren't wrong. What a fantastic place to eat, the menu was varied with a good choice. The food itself, lamb meatballs with tomato sauce and calamari for starters, followed by paella and Sirloin Steak (served with the biggest steak knife I have ever seen) all 4 dishes were cooked to perfection, tasted fantastic and could not be faulted. The staff were very attentive without being overbearing, service was ideally spaced between the courses. Great meal, thank you

Popped for lunch as a couple. Service was brilliant. Food was tasty hot and fresh! The chicken strips are to die for. The menu has a great variety of options. The restaurant has recently been added to the taste card too so a cheeky 25% off the bill. Bonus! We Will definitely come back to try the bottomless brunch!

Came for my daughters 18th birthday meal and woe it's was fabulous. The service was fast and efficient. We felt welcome from the moment we walked through the door. The food was amazing and the hospitality was just spectacular. We will 100% be back soon, we loved every minute.

Visited for dinner before going to open mic night and so happy we did! We were served by Elmas and Reg who are the best front of house persons we have encountered for a while, I had the seabass which was gorgeous and my husband had the Paella which he says the best he has had! Elmas knowledge of the wine to pair with our dishes were very impressive and the overall ambience, service and food was an absolute delight, surprisingly all at a very reasonable cost! We ordered the starter to take out to give to the host of the open mic night and they even wrote a little not for him... "Bon Appetit" he too was blown away with the food! We told everyone we spoke to in the pub and they told us they had all heard brilliant reviews too! Our first visit was fabulous and will definitely not be our last! Interesting indoor and outdoor vibe going on. We called on Saturday around 9 and it seemed to be winding down although could have been a post dining lull. Wide variety of drinks.we didn't eat. Staff were friendly and helpful, very noisy upstairs. Worth a visit.

We'd booked a table online for 2 people, we arrived on time but had to wait for a table (not sure why as there were lots of empty tables). When were seated a drinks order was promptly taken. We both had a starter and main. The portion size is lacking, however, the food was tasty. We'd go again but possibly not our first choice.

10 of us had a fantastic meal tonight to celebrate my daughter and her fiancé’s engagement. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic value on the early bird menu. We all really enjoyed our meals. A nice choice in all three courses. One minor thing is that Becks blue was the only alcohol free beer option. It’s nice to have a couple to chose from please. We all had a great time and will definitely return. Thanks.

i'm really sorry for the low star review but it will make sense. We booked for 7 people to finalise my wedding details on an upcoming cruise. We arrived early so we could ask them to hold on to some presents we brought for the females in our family. The staff was friendly on arrival. we expected to stay here for about 5 hours but was asked to leave by 4.14pm as another table was coming in, that's never good asking a table of 7 to leave so we had to punish them by not spending after that. This is the frst time in a very long time that i'v enot tipped and do you know what, i don't even feel guilty about it. a red haired woman came over at 3.45pm and said you have the table until 4.15, then the staff came along with dessert menus we all declined due to being asked to leave but 2 wanted them do that was fine. They ran out of wine that i like and thought i could just drink anything, listen,...... when you have money we have the choice to be fussy. i was going to go on large bacardi and cokes but after being asked to leave, we just didn't buy any more. We had starters and steaks, the food was nice, no complaints there. We left at 4.17pm because we are above the law and went to the shed and the garden, we couldnt talk about wedding stuff there so we went to the local Wetherspoons called the sir Henry Tate, we had desserts, a crap load of wine and other drinks and we only left there at about 9pm, With a bill at The Cosmpolitan of £195 and they over charged us on our bill sp PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL, no one likes a thief. , Our bill at the Wetherspoons was £268 and the manager was very pleased we came along, and gave us some free treats. Why didn't we just go there in the first place. If you choose the Cosmopolitan i hope you have a nice time, but they'll never see us again.

This is the second time we have been for the bottomless brunch and both times one of the reasons we have come back is the service from Max I felt for him putting up with a big group as there was 10 of us and we drink fast but he really did well and made sure we always had drinks in hand and nothing was too much trouble the food was so lovely as well :)

Come here for the best steak of your life!! I'm not kidding it's fab. I am in love with their jumbo zombie cocktails too and have probably purchased this drink more than any other person has, but who cares its DELICIOUS! highly recommend. Staff are super friendly and manager also takes time to come chat with you! I was excited to hear him say they also cater for weddings, I've started to sway towards this idea!! We love the sharing camembert too very very tasty. FANTASTIC range of gluten free we will definitely keep returning :)
