Didn't have food so I cannot comment but the coffee were great and the venue itself and staff are second to none

One of my favourite places to eat. Lovely staff, relaxing atmosphere, and delicious food. I love to pop in here for a quick bite.

Lovely food, i had the harissa chicken flatbread with the best chips I've ever had. 1 moan, the chicken flatbread was quite cold.

Beautiful meal 😋 really enjoyed it but service was slow as it was packed! Staff worked really hard but we waited too long for drinks, won't put us off going again tho!

Came here for food and a drinks with a friend, food was subpar drinks were served but no cutlery provided had to go ask then they couldn't find any knives. Food was not good at all. Wouldn't return.

Disappointing palaver trying to make a group booking for Saturday 20th. Tried to book in advance but the website was faulty (not letting me select a time) so I emailed 17th. I was told the group could walk in as it wasn't over 8. I was aware it was chorley live & an extra person wanted to join, so I tried booking online anyway on the 18th & put the time as a comment as it wasn't an option. Got an email the next day saying they couldn't proceed with the booking & to ring up. I rang up. They couldn't fit me in at the time I'd booked for but could do 5PM. It was agreed they'd book it in & I agreed to ring to confirm or cancel. I rang back to confirm...to be told only 4:30 was free. I explained I'd just had to spend my lunch break chasing 7 people around to move rhem to the 5PM booking, as I'd been told I had the slot. I was then told someone had booked before me (unsure how as the 5PM was free when I booked 🙃). In the end I cancelled and we're going to Cosmopolitan, which was really easy to book & I think the company should take note! I apologise as I was so frustrated I just said "just cancel the whole thing" & hung up. However, having spent my day accommodating the restaurant & 2 days prior trying to book,I was very frustrated. Especially when I subsequently booked a table in minutes for Cosmopolitan online. It was just a bit shambolic. Not the staffs fault but the booking system obviously needs a lot of work! Their loss is another local businesses, as we generally spend a lot & tip generously.

Cracking location with a variety of great food, teas, coffee and alcohol. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great for a catch up with friends, a couples meal or a larger group. They also cater for a variety of dietary requirements. Also dog friendly.

Good food, reasonable prices, good service, retro decor brings back memories, jolly atmosphere.

Eaten here a few times, good selection catering for mainstream, intolerances and veg. Staff are friendly and a good vibe. Easy access for wheels. Just a generally nice place to eat out in Chorley.

The food was very dry and chewy and took nearly an hour to arrive.

Visit Calico Lounge frequently and am never disappointed. Staff are always friendly whether it's busy or quiet and nice to have a few words with them. It's always nice to call in after a walk for a brew and cake being so relaxed. When we have had a meal, food is always excellent, and service is as expected. All in all, it's a really nice place to go.

Regularly dine at the Calico lounge, great atmosphere and decor. Staff are friendly and attentive. The food options are variable but always something new to try. Great quality food and drinks to keep you coming back for more. Order hassle free at your table via the QR code or via the bar. Orders arrive fairly quickly at the table but in enough time to socialise with your friends and family. I would highly recommend trying out this venue, I'm sure you will love it as much as I do. Also located next to the cinema should you fancy a few drinks before your film.

No change and we continue to really like it here, a nice relaxed bar serving good beers and always great food and as an added bonus it's also dog friendly. Good access from the street and it's all on one floor so great for people with physical disabilities. We've tended to use the App to order good and drinks which in this instance seems the better option although normally I prefer to order direct. The App though is easy to use and service is really quick and the menu caters for a wide range of dietary needs.

What fantastic food, drink, warm and very friendly atmosphere and megga friendly staff.

Visited a couple of times during my stay in Chorley food was excellent and fresh.Staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout including the Head Chef who I got talking to on one occasion.Would definately visit again when I'm back in the area.Thanks.

Food wasn't great service is hit and miss, it's quite loud so hard to converse with those you are out with. Have been twice and my experience seems to be the norm

Price is good but the food just ok. I had the goat curry and the bottom was flooded with water from the rice but the curry itself was nice. The garlic flatbread was rock solid. We'll come back to try it again as it's in a good location when going to the cinema.

Fabulous venue, service and atmosphere

A great place to eat and drink. Plenty of different things to eat and drink on the menu and they also have a large range of gluten free meals too. Nice and chilled with good service also.

Been here for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner and each time was fantastic!! The atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious and I love the interior design! The only downside is that I was kinda disappointed with the arancini since they were tiny but they tasted absolutely delicious and I can't be too mad because they came with the rest of the tapas so I was still filled. I feel like it's the perfect place because you can literally go at any time of the day - for coffee, breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks - and you won't feel out of place and you won't be disappointed

Table was cleared but not wiped down. Food was good. Only meat on 1 half of my sandwich but still good. Needs a little more on the menu but would go again.

Wonderful place, meal was wonderful, all priced reasonable , atmosphere was great menu, will definitely be back, our new go to place , thank you to our server who got us alsat down within minutes even though we turned up as a party for 6 at 5.30pm:), thanks again xx. ps..great gluten free options too 😀

This place is lovely for a drink with friends. Really nice atmosphere and decor. I'm sorry to say the food was not good at all. They have a great menu on offer but what we got was so over salted it was unpalatable.

we travel from Manchester over to Chorley most weeks it's that good ,, the staff are the best we know and Jess is an amazing staff member so kind and sincere towards everyone and wouldn't be the same without the staff they got and the chief is the best around the food is spectacular thank you Chorley for the experience from the Tuesday crew x

My first visit to Calico Lounge. I was recommended to try the Triple Stacked Buttermilk Pancakes. I chose the berry version (I decided to get one of my five a day!), although they do have a version with bacon and maple syrup. The portion size was very good and averagely priced at £9.25. I also had a Mocha coffee, which, at £3.60, was averagely priced. The menu is extensive and changes on a monthly basis. I would come back again to try something savoury on the menu.

Nice looking restaurant. I was on a night out in Chorley with friends. We enjoyed our meals and drinks. Great place!

Came for lunch with my husband for the first time. The burger I ordered was very nice indeed! I understand the establishment is a dog friendly environment, unfortunately when we visited there was a dog barking during our lunch which put a slight dampner on us enjoying our lunch completely.

Always enjoy the food at Calico. The choice is great. My only issue is the poached egg and crushed avocado on only one slice of bread for £9. Something. Not sure about the value of that 🤔

I come to this place every now and then. Always a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. However, last time I was there I got a food poisoning after having a mexican bowl .... When I shared this with my friend, she told me her boyfriend had also had a food poisoning in there just a couple months earlier. Very disappointing... For the managers' attention, you've got so many people, especially children coming everyday. Please pay your attention to this and have it fixed.

Had a lovely family meal. Plenty if choice on the Menu, reasonably priced. Dog friendly too.

Overall a great experience. We have been a few times over the last month so decided it wasn't a one off great experience but every time has been superb. Ordering at the table without having to go to the bar makes it so much easier if there is a large group. Once the food arrives there is pure silence on our table as everyone enjoys it. I've been slowly working my way through the menu and would whole heatedly suggest the flat breads in the summer. Only down side is it can get quite busy and with that comes noise so it's hard to hear each other talk ... Which isn't a bad thing sometimes 😁

Been here a few times and it’s always good. Nice decor and it’s clean; staff are always nice; it’s easy to order on QR if that’s what you’re into; never a lengthy wait for food and the food is always decent. Menu is well labelled for vegan/GF.

Food was good, can't deny that, it's the only reason I give the place 1 star. The rest was either non-existant or just plain terrible. I was part of a party of people (I will not name the organisation as my views only represent my own feelings) from the moment we entered the service was absolutely abysmal, 1 waitress who I will not single out on here but she was horrendous, she didn't help us in the slightest and made me feel bad. I will never return to this venue and I will advise everyone I know of my terrible experience.

Cheapish and cheerful. If you're looking for a quick bite inbetween shopping, then it's decent for that.

Came as party of 7 to celebrate granddaughters 7th birthday. Food was excellent, as was the atmosphere. The staff were lovely and so helpful going above and beyond to make everything perfect including serving the birthday cake we brought. Well done Calico Lounge!

Lovely centre town bar/grill,always busy on a Saturday but its cosy and relaxing..We haven't eaten there but we usually pop in for a drink when we in Chorley.

Lovely food, extensive menu (plenty veggie and vegan options) and nice non alcoholic drinks. I got the tapas, which was lovely. I'd definitely go back to try other choices. Ordered and paid via the QR code at the table so didn't have much contact with staff, but they were pleasant and helpful when we did see them

Mediocre food... I had Mac n cheese, it was swimming in oil. My sister had eggs that wasn't great. Also the service was non existent. We sat next to the food hatch, I saw multiple occasions of food left on the top, while staff chatted and texted on their phones. The bizarre oversized lamp shades, hanging from the Celine were caked in dust. I felt for what we had it was overpriced. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. Very cramped and generally untidy with uncleaned tables.

Decent food at reasonable prices. You can order (& pay) at the table through the app or you order at the bar, we ordered at the bar. The food was tasty, lovely [piping hot] sweet potato fries and speedy service. Quirky decor and very spacious, plenty of room for prams and wheelchairs. However, they do allow dogs. Before I say any more, I love dogs but dogs do not always have manners and are not always clean. We personally find it off putting in a restaurant setting, we've had so many meals spoilt with other people's dogs aggressively trying to fight other dogs, barking, shaking their fur, coughing 🤢 & whimpering but we didn't realise until we were taken to our table and had two dogs at different tables next to us. One of the dogs kept wandering towards our table even though it was on a lead. Overall, nice food but the allowing dogs will put us off visiting again.

Called in for an evening meal. Service was very friendly. Food was average in general, burger was ok as was pork dish. Chicken pie was also average, All in all just average.

Great food good service and not expensive

A relaxed environment with friendly staff. You can order at bar or via QR code. Good food with a menu that caters for all. Hot drinks, coktails, beer, gin and ciders available. Breakfast and brunch on the menu. Monday & Tuesday deals available. Parking - nearest is flat iron car park which has disabled spaces and electric vehicle charging (currently free to use). Dogs welcomed.

Visited for brunch. 4 adults and 2 children. Seating not the best. The bench seat was very sunken along the seat. Ordered on line , a bit confusing when there are staff to hand. 3 breakfasts, 1 had cold bacon and waited quite a while for replacement bacon. Poached eggs were cooked nicely but, again, only just warm. The pancakes were good but the accompanying bacon was very salty and dry.The staff are very welcoming. Don't think we will make it a regular venue.

Great place for a family meal to celebrate my birthday. Staff are friendly, food is delicious and a particular shout-out for the gluten free menu which is not only plentiful but also uses good quality gluten free options (as opposed to just the cheapest). Would definitely eat here again!

We regularly visit Calico and as its dog friendly we usually take our dog along with us. Really good selection of food for breakfast, lunch or dinner and always good service

Called in midweek for the "Tuesday's Tapas (3 tapas and glass of house wine) food was excellent as was the ambiance to the place. Great cosy atmosphere and lovely polite staff will definitely use again over the coming dark months.

Food ok only. When asked if everything was ok with the food I commented on the tasteless tough chorizo sausage in the salad only to be told " so you'll know not to order it next time won't you " by the waitress. Quite rude.

Lovely atmosphere but unfortunately the last 2 times of visiting there has been a problem with our order. Some staff fine other look like they really don't want to be there. Used to he great food and service but has gone slightly downhill which is a shame.

Been today popped in to order some food the atmosphere there is outstanding you might feel as a part of a family and the community spirit can be felt in every corner ,the design is calming there is plenty of space for all ages ,couples and singles you can hardly feel lonely. The location is super duper 👌 close link to motorway, bus station and railway station 🚉 only attract to come here. The perfect location to stop off while driving far even up to Scotland The young lady who served us Abby was out of scale ⚖️ polite and professional right person in right place/time.
