Proper old school boozer! Big screens showing sport, Guinness £3.70 in July 2024, and everyone having a good time. Jukebox belting out all sorts and good craic from the locals. Love it!

Club Christmas meal for 20 people. Plenty of good food and reasonably priced. Friendly service.

Low quality food and drink. Had a turkey baguette, it was a sliced baguette with some turkey slices hanging out, a coffee cake which had a fudge like consistency and was unpleasantly sweet, like cheap sugar tasting. Dreadful coffee served in a glass. Will never go back. Would not recommend.

A couple of us went for a few games of pool and darts, and we had a really good laugh. The atmosphere and service were fantastic . I can't comment on the food. I haven't tried it yet, maybe next time we go.

Went here for a nice little coffee. Was served by a youngster called Dylan who dropped it all over the table. What a silly sausage. The cafe itself stunk, the surrounding houses smelled of sewage. The north of puddington smells worse than the south. It's really not worth the pain. Stay well away

Love it at craxton wood think this is our favourite choice when it comes to a spa day you can get some great deals of overnight stay with evening meal, breakfast full spa access and treatments and it is so reasonable the rooms are clean and comfortable the spa treatments are excellent and all the staff are really lovely and helpful always feel fresh and relaxed after a visit as a treat will definitely be booking again 🥰

Had the small fish dinner early evening, with gravy and husband had the curry with his small fish dinner Good tasting fish and hot.. Nice mushy peas too..

Went for dinner here with friends after a day out at Chester Zoo. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Menu was a little basic but food standards and presentation were very good. I had the gammon, which was juicy and flavorful and served with two lovely fried eggs, grilled tomato peas and chips followed by a quite large ice cream sundae. No complaints here

We visit here a couple of times each month for coffee and sometimes also take away scones. Quality is good and the young girls are friendly and helpful.

A friend took me for lunch at the cafe yesterday. We were both impressed by how welcoming it felt, how friendly and pleasant the staff were and the quality of the food. So I was surprised to see negative reviews and felt I should express my opinion. I wouldn't hesitate to return, especially to sample the scones and cakes.
