Despite the cold outside, the bus is a lovely, quirky place to eat out. We fely very welcome and the food was fabulous. There is plenty of parking and lovely garden area to outside to eat your food, when the weather permits you...

We hired the day boat for a friend's birthday and had the best day ever, couldn't recommend it more highly, Andy is so helpful and cheerful, & his instructions were very thorough. Lovely clean boat with all the tea, coffee & water needed. I was a nervous driver but the other girls got me through! Brilliant day all round!

Ordered take out for 730 pick up .. told a number of times almost ready .. waited 50 minutes and saw people come and go who had ordered for later times , never got food so just asked for refund .. terrible service .. yes they were busy but just inexcusable to have people waiting for that long and then have to leave with nothing .. not even an offer of a drink or any assurance it was being done .. used to go there very regularly .. what a shame

Rude staff. Business ran in an unusual, ineffective way. Very poor customer service skills. Called in on a whim to enquire about how long it would be to order some food. The woman behind the desk completely ignored me and my friend. When she finally came over she was rude, pointed at a sign that said we had to register or order via WhatsApp before a certain time in the afternoon. I understand if they don’t take any more orders but her tone was rude and frankly I’d rather drive to China than ever walk foot in there again.

On 2 occasions I’ve visited with in the opening hours and days stated, on both occasions it was closed. Not sure why you can’t open the hours you advertise, needless to say I won’t be back trying twice is more than enough for me.

We’ve been to this restaurant many times before, but after our experience on Valentine’s Day, we’re not sure we’ll be returning. The evening was completely disorganised from the start. When we arrived, the queue was nearly out of the door, and despite waiting patiently, no staff member acknowledged us or asked for our booking details. Instead, people were just standing around, confused about what to do. After waiting for a while, we asked a waitress for help, and she assured us she’d be back—but we never saw her again. Meanwhile, random customers were being seated with no clear system in place. Once people started realising there was no structure, they began forming a queue themselves to show who was next, yet even then, staff continued to take people out of order. By the time we were finally seated—40 minutes after our booking time—it only happened because other customers were kind enough to point out that we had arrived before them. The waiter’s excuse was that he “recognised” them, which made no sense. At no point did anyone apologise for the delay or attempt to communicate what was happening. To make matters worse, we were unaware there was a set menu with very limited options. While the food itself was nice, the service was abysmal. They even tried to add a service charge, which we requested to be removed. For such a chaotic experience, you’d expect at least a small goodwill gesture—perhaps a complimentary Prosecco—but there was nothing. People were visibly frustrated, walking out and complaining, and it was clear the restaurant had overbooked and couldn’t manage the demand. We used to live this restaurant but after this disaster of an evening, we’re seriously reconsidering whether we’ll return.
