Fantastic little club, with a great course and even better food. A warm welcome at the little gem. Green keepers clearly know what they are doing as the course is in great condition. And to top it off the food quality is a real treat thanks to the fabulous chef 👍
Our first visit to Rathlin Island and of course we availed of The Hungry Seal! The food was absolutely amazing, we were in chippy heaven. The chips are probably the best I've ever had and the battered sausages to die for! The other half had the haddock supper and claimed it was the best he's ever had. Decent portions, the price is up there but not much different than your average chippy to be fair. The girls were lovely and had the food ready in good time. We would take a trip back to the island just for another feed at the Hungry Seal lol 10/10 for us!

Excellent coffee at a reasonable price out of the back of a van in a great location. Owner was very friendly and helpful so no hesitation in recommending.
We ordered a hot chcolate and a mill shake. Both were top draw! And served by a really great friendly gentleman. A real gem, and utterly unpretentious. Wish we had found it sooner.
Walking through the upper Fitz park, we came a cross a delightful oasis, namely HNW. The small but well appointed stop is ideal for the walker wanntinng a light snack and a drink. The pleasant staff are eager to please, and the fayre on offer is pleasing and well priced.
PASSED THIS PLACE MANY TIMES AND ONLY RECENTLY WAS IT RECOMENDED SO WE GAVE IT A TRY AND THE ITALIAN MELT AND PERI PERI LEBANESE WRAP WERE VERY TASTY, FRIENDLY STAFF AND A LOVELY SET UP, WILL RETURN
Have eaten here several times now. Woodlands really is a hidden gem. Daryl really is an excellent chef and his food is outstanding. Whenever we stay locally, we try to visit. Give them a go and you won’t be disappointed!!
Relaxing micro pub with a a pleasantly idiosyncratic vibe as well as a perfectly kept selection of beers and plenty of pub games to keep you amused whilst imbibing their wares, food is available at certain times but we were informed that takeaways are allowed too.

Excelentes productos: alimentos especiales como el salmón, la caballa y las sardinas rillettes y el curry casero su = auces mad en el barrio indio de Bradford
I stumbled across Scran after recently moving to Wigton, and I'm honestly so glad I did! Not only did the cater brilliantly for my vegetarian girlfriend, but the food and service we got was brilliant from start to finish. Furthermore, the fact that they emphasise all the ingredients come from the local area makes it an even better experience. Ultimately, it means you get lovely food, while at the same time supporting local businesses!
The Killie Club is the previous Sports Bar at Rugby Park and is located in the Frank Beattie (main) stand. It’s recently been refurbished with lovely new decor dedicated to numerous Killie legends. I’ve visited several times post-lockdown, mostly at weekends but also for a few early dinners after work and I can’t rate the place highly enough! Scrumptious food, great value and excellent friendly service.
The girls work so hard and all Covid measures are immaculately adhered to. To book just drop them a message on Facebook (under ‘KillieFC Hospitality’). You can sit inside or out in the beer garden on a sunny day and if you’re lucky enough you might even spot a few Killie players! I highly recommend their loaded fries, sweet potato fries, soup and nachos (which they often have on as a special) and of course the world famous Varani Forum ice creams! They also do lovely toasties and have a brilliant value kids menu so ideal for all the family (they are open from 12pm-9pm most days with food served until 5:45 - just be aware that on home match days behind closed doors just now they aren’t allowed to open those days due to SPFL Covid rules).
They have a special curry night coming up this week so it would be great to see more theme nights in future e.g. Mexican, Italian etc. They often do fantastic drinks specials such as a bucket of 10 beers for £20 and cater well for vegans with special falafel balls and vegan ice-cream (would be brilliant if they could do gluten free bread too). All in all I can totally recommend a visit to the Killie Club - if you’re looking for a safe, friendly and great value place for some food or just a round of drinks then head over the Rugby Park...you won’t be disappointed!

Reasonably priced and amazing food. The waffles and cookie dough or the best I’ve ever had! Without doubt the best dessert bar/cafe I have ever come across.
