We visited this morning at the end of our mini break in Silloth. We were heading home and a friend local to Wigton recommended it. We both got a breakfast wrap with different items in each. They were reasonably priced and we were stuffed after, there was a full Cumberland ring on each one, loved it! Excuse the half eaten wraps on the pictures!

We ordered the wood fired takeaway pizza as staying at Wallace Farm. As a family we sampled 4 different pizzas and they were all beautiful. Not even crumbs left in the box. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

I cannot rate this place highly enough! Superb food always at the freshest and highest quality. As a celiac it's reassuring to know that they serve a delicious gluten free option on a daily basis. The service is above and beyond with the team remembering everyone's name and order off the top of their heads, even down to their favourite sauce! Where can you find that these days?! Their pizzas are exceptional and their deli boxes are also tremendous. A must visit if in the area!

The deli station is a rare gem, rare for anywhere but especially Cumbria. So whether you're a first time local or passing holiday maker, looking for a tasty meal to take away with you, I 100% recommend a visit to the Deli Station. Open from early morning to the mid afternoon through the week and Saturdays this place serves without doubt the best coffee's you can find, with a range of options (all the classics such as flat white, cappuccino etc) as well as options like flavoured syrups or milk alternatives (I always opt for the oat milk these days). Early morning they offer all the classic breakfast items served just as you want them, as a breakfast or (my favourite) in one of there amazing breakfast rolls. They also serve a range of healthy shakes and other breakfast options (though to be honest I can never get past the bacon rolls!). Later on it gets really exciting, every day they offer a range of exciting deli staples for lunch, with a range of salads, pies, pastries, quiches etc, every day is different, so you know it's all freshly made. They also offer a daily special. I've had a range of really exciting lunches from there, including tasty meat and meat free options, from Japanese noodle boxes, to incredible mexican food through to some amazing burgers. But if your extra hungry and want to try the best lunch ever, ask for one of their famous rice bowls, it comes served in a box, with rice, your choice of salads and sides, sauces and a meat or meat free topping. I had a portabello mushroom once (i think in Teriyaki sauce) that was incredible. And to top it all off the ladies who own it and work there are just the nicest people, always a fun and relaxed atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble, so what are you waiting for, give it a go!

... indeed they do! Imagine taking a rare 300+ mile journey to revisit your childhood memories, including that of the pub that you were born in. Imagine turning up at the said establishment, full of excitement and anticipation only to be shouted at "You can't park here, I'm expecting people for Sunday Lunch" - maybe the Landlord was psychic and knew we weren't his intended visitors, or he only serves his local clientele with charm? Imagine then trying to hold a conversation with said Landlord about the past, who clearly wasn't interested, simply citing "things change". Indeed they do... just not always for the better... as evidenced at The Bush (previous name, from back in (much) better times.

Our first visit to Rathlin Island and of course we availed of The Hungry Seal! The food was absolutely amazing, we were in chippy heaven. The chips are probably the best I've ever had and the battered sausages to die for! The other half had the haddock supper and claimed it was the best he's ever had. Decent portions, the price is up there but not much different than your average chippy to be fair. The girls were lovely and had the food ready in good time. We would take a trip back to the island just for another feed at the Hungry Seal lol 10/10 for us! (Not my picture, found in Google search)

Absolutely loved the bakery! Extremely friendly shop owner, and even had a gluten free option which was much appreciated! I would highly recommend this bakery, and will definitely be revisiting next time I visit Keswick!

Situated on the edge of Keswick near the lake, but only 5 minutes from the town centre. Very welcoming and staff friendly and helpful. Varied menu with quirky food. The waiter was beyond accommodating when I wasn’t sure about the pickle on the hash and he arranged for the chef to put it as a side dish. Food of exceptional quality served in lovely surroundings. It was very busy and booking is recommended although walk ins were being accommodated. Had the orange ginger cake sweet, this topped off an extremely high quality evening. Premises dog friendly. Would highly recommend a visit.
