Great little micro pub, great atmosphere and nice to chat to the locals. We wandered in here after a visit to the Taggy Man for pies! A lovely selection of craft beers, ciders and ales await and the staff and locals are a great bunch - all super friendly. Many thanks!

Had a very good Saturday night here. Very friendly place. We cooked meat & vegetables on hot stones which was very tasty. Thank you.

Can't comment on any food but the real ale was top class, great little new bar with a real fire, renavated to a high standard, definately give this a go for a beer, dog friendly too (even if our dog wasn't!)

A great new micropub, which is a welcome addition to life in this increasingly lively market town at the the foot of the Pennines. Renovations to the characterful building at the north end of the main street much disrupted by COVID so great to find it now offering a range of craft beers and real ale as well as fine coffee. They also run film nights and will offer simple food.

A great spot for high quality pub grub. Try the salt and chilli fries they are excellent! Best fish and chips I've had in a pub. Very relaxed and pleasant service. 10 out of 10.

Called in for drinks on Saturday night, sign outside for live music but went in ordered drinks looked more like a sports bar with TV on every wall showing sports, asked the bartender about music who replied they don’t show up! No atmosphere, no service and definitely no welcome! Go to McDonalds, Boyds or the Harbour Bar much more welcoming for tourists.
