I was working in the area today so popped in on the recommendation of a local colleague. I chose a choc orange brownie, a Malteser slice and a plum and almond tart. All had generous amounts of filling/topping and were a good size for the price. My family enjoyed them all and I will definitely be returning!

Sunday lunch terrible service waited an hour for main meals other people came in after and got served before us and left then to top off woman sat on next table came in restraint with dog, bad enough to be feeding dog from plate but most staff came over and petted dog then served food prob not best practise claimed to have washed hands but again I doubt that

The food was absolutely outstanding and they even had a GF Yorkshire pudding! Staff were lovely as always bloody love this pub/restaurant!

We go here every time we have a family occasion and it never disappoints, staff are friendly and will do anything for you and the food is top notch , would highly recommend this place to anyone , 24 people at our party and not a single error in food or mistake, we will 100 percent be back again

Second visit as had enjoyed a previous visit with a friend. However this was meant to be bit special as friends birthday. Negatives balloon I had taken earlier to be on table was not there had to ask, had to move a chair as we were squashed on table for 4 and was 5 of us, ordered one type of lager on arrival was different one entirely, meal took nearly 1 hour to arrive, and 2 of them were tasteless the Gyros, meat ws dry lacked the tzasiki dressing had to ask for more, what made it worse was one of the gyros was for Birthday girl, We did voice our disappointment but other than apology that was it. Positives My meal and 3 other diners once arrived were lovely, the male member of staff assigned to our table was lovely and friendly could not do enough for us even saying manager would come over re poor meals but it never happened. They did all sing Happy Birthday to birthday girl which was nice. Overall I think far too many people in for kitchen to cope with orders sadly...

Absolutely incredible service from start to finish, in particular want to thank Franco for his exceptional customer service so friendly, polite and ever so helpful and informative an absolute asset to the place. Food was delicious highly recommend the chicken lemonado incredible.

Have been to the tearoom on a number of occasions. Food lovely but service today not so good. We were asked if we wanted our drinks with our food which we agreed to. Food arrived but no drinks. We had to ask for them at least 15 mins after we finished our Food. We had intended to order cheesecake after asking if this was available. By the time our drinks arrived we decided not to bother. Latte was lukewarm when it arrived. Maybe more staff required!

Hoy tuvimos suerte y nos sentamos enseguida, pero notamos que el aire estaba lleno de olores a cocina. La comida que tuvimos fue excelente y las porciones muy grandes. La variedad de pasteles y tartas caseras es deliciosa. Para mí la única desventaja, y un poco fuera de lugar, fue cuando salimos y salimos, el olor de la comida frita / cocina se había pegado a nuestra ropa / cabello y era muy fuerte. Eat here very often. Tonight was a different lady some one mentioned she was manager. From walking in with our children to getting us seated she had a i cba attitude. My little girl attemted to speak numerous times she continued to ignore her. Kay came over and got her the colourings she was asking for.. also referring to our newborn baby as an it. Just wasnt famiky friendly at all almost like an atmosphere. The usual girls kay and sharon are lovely so friendly. I then ordered food from the thrifty tues ( 2 course ) for 12.95 x 2 meals, And a kids roast 6.95 and a adults roast 8.95. Food come it was tastless the lasagne smelled awful what is usually lovely. An iceland microwave meal wipes the floor with tonights. The pastry on the steak pie was powdery tasting. The roasts were exactly the same size. The lady didnt even no which was which. Very let down. Then i paid and the same lady charges me full price. I asked her how it was so.. to which she replied she didnt no i ordered from the thrifty tursday and the portions are different nothing she could do. I will not be returning in any hurry

Realmente decepcionante visita esta tarde en lo que se suponía que iba a ser un regalo de celebración para nuestra hija. Tuvimos que perseguir nuestra orden varias veces que llegó cada vez que el personal tenía ganas y cada vez que nos atrevíamos a perseguir esto su respuesta no era lo que se podría / debería esperar. Hemos estado aquí un par de veces, nunca realmente impresionado en comparación con el lugar de roker que creemos que es mucho mejor. Lamentablemente, hoy será la última visita.

I ordered the beef pathia, when it came it had no taste very bland, whereas a pathia should be hot and spicy! will not be ordering again.

He estado aquí varias veces ahora con la familia, nunca tuvo una mala comida. Probé varias comidas del menú, todo bien. El personal es siempre servicial y amable.
