The decor is lovely, the staff are friendly and the meal was excellent. I highly recommend your afternoon teas here. Will definitely be coming back

Stunning! We visited The Sun recently, everything about the place was superb..the steaks, the Guinness and the service from the staff were an example to others, oh, the chips!! They were unreal, and loads of them too!

10 of us to cope with and everyone absolutely over the moon with the quality of the food and the service , plus great value for money !!!! 10/10 !!!! Well done Amalfi 😋 👍🏼

We ordered a takeaway via JustEast and were honestly a little underwhelmed by it all. We went with the steak and chicken mixed kebab, which literally only had a couple of pieces of the meat we ordered and then was for some reason bulked out with doner kebab. The meat was okay, but not great and the side salad pretty limp and drenched in vinegar. We also had sides of chips and halloumi, which again were only okay. I think at £30 it was really overpriced for what we got, not sure I would be in a hurry to order from here in the future.

Best fish and chip shop ,fish excellent and chips done to perfection not greasy at all ,we have had a few lunches here and I would definitely recommend that you try it ,other fish shops take notice and learn ! Ps the staff are polite and very pleasant as well.

We have visited this restaurant in the past and the choice for vegans was great. We went for tea yesterday and I couldn't have chips or onion bhaji (as said they both contained egg!) last time we ate here these food items were apparently fine. Wouldn't go back now as I'm not sure what to believe now and I don't think they really understood what options were available for me to eat, even though I rang ahead and advised them of the dietary requirements.

Always a favourite spot if we're over this way. The food is always lovely, but what makes this place is the staff. They are fantastic, work so hard and polite.

Order was on time, didn’t hear me door and the app kept saying my order was delayed, called the restaurant twice was advised they were sending new one, didn’t turn up would like a refund

Ordered here many times and always been nice. However they say we ordered one thing but sent something else. When challenged it was no you ordered this if you want something else. Not ordering from them again. When I have family orders are large very disappointed

I've bought a couple of curry's from alos recently ,the curry sauce is like water, they have put prices up considerably, but are making the poorest curry sauce possible, used to be a really good takeaway, now it seems profit is more important than quality, very disappointed, Andy.

I had a beef curry from here and wouldn't order it again. The beef was so chewy I left most of it. The rice and chips were hot and ok but I will avoid beef in the future
