We use this place (or did) for some time… Got a jacket potato with cheese and beans which came uncooked and a big ball of mess inside tin foil. Rang to speak to staff and was over spoken and told it was fine and she didn’t care if I didn’t like it!!! When I said I would unlikely order again she said “good” and put the phone down!!!! Never again …..

Im not supprised this place is always empty the attitude of these 2 people who run this shop is disgusting. The food hasnt got much to go by either.Avoid this shop like the Plague unless your up for a arguement. The price of the food in this shop is so over priced i will never step foot here again. Cheaper to go else where .

Following our normal local takeaway being closed we decided to give castle a try,the large kebab complete with 2 pita breads and super fresh salad with the best garlic mayo ever. This proved to be the best move ever,the kebab meat was freshly carved and was nice and spicy and moist,the pita were fresh and well toasted and the salad was excellent, and to make it all perfect the thick garlic mayo rounded it all off perfect Served by a very nice couple. 👍🤗👏.

Never tried this pizza shop before and I can safely say we had the best pizza we've had in a long time. Wife loved the vegetarian pizza ... definitely returning. Perfect 5

The 🍕 at pizza castle are the most tasty best quality and best value for money we have ever had at a takeaway or restaurant and the most important thing is that the quality never changes doesn't matter how busy the shop is. Also the staff and owner are super friendly. Give pizza castle a try you won't be disappointed:)

Always use Pizza Castle. Pizza's always nice. Friendly lady when you ring up. Delivery always on time. Used them recently. Still taking cash but have to put it in envelope or money bag and leave it on step. Delivery guy really friendly too. No complaints

The food from this pizza shop is always lovely no matter when you order. I wouldn’t use any other pizza takeaway in houghton now. Chicken wraps & kebab’s are beautiful along with the pizzas.

Food is absolutely perfect. Is the best pizza shop around! Chicken kebab’s are beautiful. Chips are perfect. It’s very clean inside and the staff are always friendly. They once got the order wrong but replaced it ASAP!!!

This is our regular takeaway I'd never go anywhere else. It's always hot. Its fresh. Tasty. And the staff are always friendly.

As the title of this review states, succulent chicken pieces char grilled, salad or chips and sauces..garlic/chilli. Have a go. You won't be disappointed 😉

Pizza castle sell the best pizza in the area, and the staff are always very friendly and can't do enough for you. One of oh favourites for a takeaway.

Been going here for sometime now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Food is always spot and and customer Service is second to none. Try the Parmo Inferno - it's amazing.

Nice food but we've had to experience their awful customer service on more than one occasion so I no longer order from there.

I uses this pizza shop all the time and the last 2 times my order has been wrong and it doesn't matter when I order 9x10 I get the same thing

Ordered at 21.10 told would come at 22.05 turned up at 22.30 I ordered the spaghetti carbonara it didn't even taste like carbonara I think it's changed hands this used to be a lovely take away they've lost a customer tonight

When we phoned to place an order we ordered a 10" inferno and a 8" garlic bread to be delivered and were quoted £8.40 then when the food arrived my partner told the guy there must have been a mistake as both were 10" and we were being charged £11.40 instead of the quoted amount.. We then proceeded to contact the shop and the absolute whoppa on the other end of the phone gave nothing but cheek and told us they did not do 10". I would never go back again regardless of what the food tastes like and will be doing my best to ensure none of my friends are stupid enough to use this "business", absolute disgrace.

Although the food is nice, 3 of the 4 orders we placed for both dilevery and collection over a period of a few weeks have been wrong in some way. After ringing and being promised our complete order plus a complimentary drink we were left waiting after it never arrived despite being told we would be called if there were any problems finding us. Sorry but it's just not worth the gamble.

The Pizza shop is extremely clean, the staff are lovely and the Pizzas are amazing. I love extremely spicy food so I always order Green Chillies, Peppers, Onions and Fresh Tomatoes on my Pizza. They never get it wrong unlike many other Pizza shops I have been to who add Pepperoni to my side of the Pizza (Half and Half) even though I clearly state what I want. Not that this matters as this Pizza shop is my favourite and I will continue to only go here. The Pizzas are better than Domino's and Pizza Hut AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

The food is great quality and the establishment is immaculately clean highly recommend for food . The food is cooked to perfection and the service is always excellent

I only went here because Domino's was closed and I have never been back to Domino's since. This pizza shop sells the nicest, freshest pizzas ever and at a decent price. What more can I say, nom nom!

Having tried the new to Houghton's range of yummy pizzas, & perusing their bill of fayre I note they do no less than THREE varieties of seafood pizza! :-) But, I decided tonight to try one of their Donner Kebabs...... The texture and taste of the meat was exquisite! Very well cooked all the way through the spicy layers of thinly sliced mutton, which is how 'I' prefer it personally, as if cut too thick, the meat can be rubbery in consistency from some takeaway restaurants :-) The meat was medium dry, without excess fat ooze, and the accompanying chili sauce was medium hot ~ Not too hot as to take your breath away! ;-) Looking through their range of pizzas, they have such a banquet of styles on offer ~ You should really take a look!Disabled parking is provided opposite, with two spaces in what is on an evening a quiet small town main street, although to be truly honest, I've not ever known of anyone getting a parking ticket in Houghton after 6.30pm :-)May God above us in the heavenly paradise of Sion Bless the lovely staff (and patrons!) of Pizza Castle in Houghton le Spring :-):-):-)xCyrusMCMLXVII D226474D Rob x
