A real gem of a place. Fantastic food, good portions and excellent friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money.

Let’s be honest, the food is what matters, and in this case it’s beautiful. However, as a reviewer, I need to paint the whole picture. The restaurant is a small, shabby eatery with no proper bar and it’s quite run down. The toilet is directly off the dining room so not ideal. The service is good and the food is tasty and well priced, but if you’re going for a special occasion like a birthday, I’d have to recommend you go somewhere more upmarket. This was a curry place for years and they haven’t spent money on it since. I hope they do well, and I’ll continue to go, but it feels like half a job. Dining out is a treat for most of us and we want the entire experience.

I always love the breakfasts from here! I order for delivery and although it always takes a while to come, the breakfasts are spot on! I will order the large and ask for specific items not to be included, which is always honoured. The drivers are friendly and staff are lovely on the phone. Recommended!

This is not you usual Greggs Bakery. It is your discount Greggs store selling unsold stock from Greggs shops. You get two pasties in a pack. They also often have pies, sausage rolls and vegan rolls. They also do reduced price sandwiches and sweet treats, bread and buns. They have a coffee machine too. The caramel shortbread offcuts are great at 60p a bag. Staff friendly. Just a little shop so it can get busy. Stock available depends on what they get delivered. The prices are very good.

Fabulous takeaway from here. The loaded fries are a favourite of ours and also tried the new madras platter which my son said was amazing. The food here is lovely. We ordered in advance and the food arrived dead on time. One of the best take aways on shields. And if you want to eat in go to the Dehli 6 Lounge at Westoe.

Gallo Nero is firmly on our treat nights list and has been for a while. Penne Bolognese and a meat feast pizza with skinny chips. Delivery was quick and food hot. Enough for two meals and money off, win win.

This place is disgusting.. We thought we would chance it again after my partners dad found a screw in the curry, yes a screw, that was a few years back . So ordered a meal tonight only because of the cheep deals they have on and found a long woman's hair in the chips not a happy experience. I would avoid unless you want a nice suprise in your food. I called them and they offered me a free bag of chips next time I order

Wife and I visiting the area and dropped in for a beer and a sandwich. Very welcoming and clean pub, food and drink fine. Would definitely use again if back in the area.

First impressions always count they say and when you enter you are met with huge mouth watering sandwiches and pies in the display cabinet. As you walk through the premises, it then seems you've entered the doctors Tardis, with rooms either side of the main room. Decor is fab and you'd thought you were in a plush restaurant rather than a cafe, so well done to the decor team. The cafe wasn't busy with I'd say 4 tables taken. One waitress was providing all the services. Two things disappointed our first time at the cafe. One was the table to our right that had finished plates left with food scattered from the baby which stayed uncleared throughout the majority of our time there. Not something you want to see to be honest. Second was the fish finger sandwich we ordered. The meal arrived and instantly was hit with a very odd smell. Kept smelling the sandwich to ascertain what it was and could only conclude that the fish fingers had been deep fried using oil that had been used for other breakfast items....that's where I had a real issue as my partner is a pescatarian and usually has to follow a vegan dietary requirement when out. All I could think of was this fingers had been cooked in oil where sausages had been cooked also. Didn't enjoy the meal what so ever. Purchased 2 Aberdeen Angus steak and ale pies, where upon returning home cut into them to find it packed full of meat so thumbs up on that one. Dogs enjoyed there pie, will have the other at weekend. So I'm questioning the hygiene between food dietary requirements. Sure you'll come back and say that different oils are used and not mixed, but the smell wasn't pleasant. Don't get that when I cook fish fingers at home!! Will be back with the dogs but will be more careful what I order next time.
