Beautiful Italian food at reasonable prices ......the wine is also a decent price.....staff are welcoming....always warm and cozy...best I've found in South Tyneside

Cafe is lovely, had giant Yorkshire pud with mince, peas and mash. Portion looked small, but that was deceiving, struggled to eat it all. Very tasty food, staff lovely, Definitely return.

Great place, great food pleasant atmosphere, and brilliant staff

Genuinely such a brilliant experience. Restaurant was absolutely packed (and rightly so!) but we arrived without a reservation and were more than happy to wait while a table was sorted for us, but I think we got lucky as one opened up fairly quickly and staff were friendly and chatty while we waited. Staff are busy but service never felt slow. Food was incredible. Prices were surprisingly very, very reasonable! The menu had loads of options and something for everyone (assuming seafood is your thing!). There’s a great kids menu available for our toddler too. Really cannot recommend Colman’s enough - definitely a must visit in South Shields. Special thanks to Lana, who was so kind as friendly and really went out of her way to make it a great experience. Will 100% be back asap!

Great food lovely staff. It did take a long time for food service so don't be in a hurry but it was great.
