Tino’s Italian Restaurant in South Tyneside

Been dining here for years. Tonight was exceptional though. World class service from Grace & the chefs were on their A-Game! 10/10 Thank you for looking after us (as always).

fabulous food and service, Tinos is a little hidden treasure! you will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of food! tomato garlic bread can not be beaten! a regular for us!

We went for my Dad’s 60th Birthday. The food was delicious and service fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyable, good food and atmosphere all spot on. Can’t wait for our next visit. A little gem of a restaurant! Recommend to everyone :)

Best Sunday Dinner in the whole of South Tyneside in my experience. I have been to alot of pubs in South Tyneside for a Sunday Dinner and this place is the best I have been to, to date. Beef dinner comes with what i can only call numerous Beef Doorstops which are massive and perfectly cooked. The rest of the plate is just right for someone who really likes their food - Mash, roasties, veg and an absolute fabulous gravy. The restaurant feels cosy and intimate, so for couples is great. Likewise I saw larger families there with tables together to facilitate the party. There are no TV's with loud music / football etc (I love my football, but for me and my wife, I like the quiet intimate feel whilst eating), so if you want a lovely cosy restaurant for a couple (or families) with an amazing Sunday Dinner, then you cannot go wrong with Tinos.

Absolutely best roast dinner I have had. Roast beef was so tasty and tender. Husband had chicken kiev with homemade chips. Looking forward to returning.

Lovely relaxing night with family and friends. good service, Friendly helpful staff. Really enjoyed meal. steak which was cooked to perfection and sticky, toffee pudding was delicious. looking forward to visiting again.

Foods nice for th price but av been twice now and come out stinking of fryer food, they gotta invest in extracta cause if you got to somewhere like bar blue or mambos for same price roughly ya don't smell like that

The worst dining experience we’ve ever had. 90 minutes for the food to be served and the wrong orders brought out. Waitress dropped food on us as we’re clearing up. Absolutely clueless and had zero sympathy. A complete and utter shambles

Tinos is one of our favourite places to eat staff are lovely, great environment, the food is unreal and the prices are great we eat here once a month and always look forward to visiting.

Stumbled across this place by chance. Exceptionally good value for money. I had mozzarella to start, risotto and a chocolate fudge cake for dessert. All excellent. Really friendly waiting staff too. Very attentive. All of us were agreed

We were a group of 24 all ordering different meals each and every one of those meals was cooked to perfection and exactly as ordered, I have been eating in top restaurants all my adult life, in restaurants around the world and tonight i had the most amazing steak and chips to die for, so a big thank you to an Italian family run restaurant, there was nothing anyone of our party could fault so a big pat on thr back to all of the staff.
