The best restaurants in Redcar and Cleveland North East

Binned the lot. Was just awful. Bland. Spring rolls soggy wet. Curry bland. Chow mein bland. Chicken balls like scraps.

Ordered two meals, lamb madras and chicken tikka masala meals. I've never seen so little actual meat in a portion from anywhere, ever, in both meals. The sauce was actually very nice....but that's practically all it was. At lest 90% of each tub was just sauce and the bits of meat were tiny pieces, like they'd run out or were just using the last dregs. Ordered here before without this issue but won't be using Ruchi again, sadly :( Response to the shops review response that I should've called them and they'd have fixed it.....I shouldn't have to!

Staff were lovely, it was spotless, the food (bacon/sausage bun) was very good with a latte cheaper than Greggs and easy parking!!!

Had a fast food delivery, the food was packed with flavour piping hot and arrived as stated. Delivery driver was polite and professional. I had a hot shot Parmo, which was delicious, although it is huge, you don’t need the chips. Excellent recommendation as it is well deserved.

Nice chips but very greasy unpleasant cod. The batter was soggy and dripping with oil, the fish was like no other cod I have had, tasteless, thin, un-cod like. Shame, maybe I just bought at a bad time.

They seem unable to grasp that their chips are soggy and need cooking for longer. You can squeeze the oil out of them.

What a lovely place, the food was amazing and plenty of choice. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had 3 courses each, and plenty of beer which was also very good. And the bill came to less than £120. We also stayed overnight in the motorhome, a very peaceful night it was. Highly recommended

Old favourite with locals. Nice seating area outside when we have nice weather. Been a few re-decs over the years but fundamentally the se pub it was 30 years ago.

The best food place to order I like it so good

A pleasant cafe with great drinks and something for everyone on the menu. I got the nourish bowl. It was nice enough! The tofu was a little bit flavourless, and I don’t think white rice went with the dish (quinoa or other grains would have gone better I think). But I enjoyed it and I appreciate a healthy vegan option on the menu! Outdoor seating are also great in warm weather ☺️

Great pub rustic old world bar service a bit slow food very good and quick a bit pricey you pay for the ambiance car parking a bit tight if you spend over £10 you get it free for 2hrs

i decided to try the parmo, one of the best parmo's I've ever had, I ordered the meat feast but asked to have olives added on which they did for me, it was piping hot and all good quality ingredients, big fresh chunky chips and nice fresh salad, it was gorgeous, my partner had the mixed shwarma plate and said the same thing, piping hot and all good ingredients, this is our third time using this place over the last few weeks and will be ordering from here more often , thanks it was lovely 😀

lovely place for a pint and a meal, food very good at a really reasonable price

Visited Seaview multiple times and each time, every time, it is superb. Be prepared to queue as we did on our last visit but the wait is never long and well worth it. The views out over the beach and sea are awesome-inspiring and the restaurant is always clean, friendly and welcoming. There’s bags of options for the kids and I usually enjoy their Saltburn Crab Brioche - which is a combination of white & brown crab, crayfish tails, celeriac remoulade, pickled cucumber & radish, skinny fries and lemon mayonnaise - gorgeous. Will return ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
