horrendous is probably an understatement the kebab was rock hard chips were cold and hard and overly salty… parmo the chicken was extremely dry safe to say i wouldn’t get from here again

We have used Taste of China for years always excellent. However, a month ago we had a very poor meal, chow mein bulked out with disproportionate amounts of carrot and swede, OK ribs that were at best chewy at worst tough. So we have given them a miss for a while. Tonight we decided to try them again and give them the benefit of doubt, so we ordered our meal through the very friendly and efficient lady on the phone, stipulating 20 30 hrs for delivery, she advised it may be later and we were happy. 20 minutes after placing order and an hour early 1930 it was delivered, we refused it. Not good and its a shame!!

Ordered special chow mein no meat or sea food in the meal rang up to complain. They were not interested and hung up

Truthfully I didn't eat....but a fabulous evening...songs ...alcohol...and a lovely crowd.

I have ordered from ying can cook many times now and the food is alway gorgeous but tonight I’m really disappointed with the way the service was. My noodles were missing from my order so I rang to let them know, the lady came on the phone and said she packed them with the fried rice I explained that they weren’t there she went off the phone and started speaking to someone else then said it again that she packed them as if I was lying I said it doesn’t matter I’m not going to lie over some noodles and she hung up on me. It’s a shame because the food is gorgeous but has put me off ordering from here again, not good customer service at all

I must say the pizzas are really good but the parmo's are not the best I had one and it was white cheese and the bechamel sauce tasted like it was from a packet,I'm from Middlesbrough and I can make better ones me self but over all nice food apart from the parmo's

Went in at 920 ordered chips x3 cheese garlic donner and two special starters simple not curry or anything that would take massive effort, ,was asked if i had ordered I said no as I know your open till ten got looked at and huffed at by the three members of staff. order cost 28,50 took 40 mins to do. No one In shop felt like I’d put them out and when I finally got order left and got home chips were missing i won’t be rushing back and I normally order twice weekly

Staff were lovely, it was spotless, the food (bacon/sausage bun) was very good with a latte cheaper than Greggs and easy parking!!!

They seem unable to grasp that their chips are soggy and need cooking for longer. You can squeeze the oil out of them.

Excellent place for lunch, unusual options, plenty of vegan choices, dog friendly - perfect! I couldn't finish my lunch and I'm greedy, a top notch feed! Kind and friendly staff, will definitely go again very soon.

Called for an early dinner around 17.00. I was pleasantly surprised that they have a discount up to 17.30. Food was good. Service excellent. I will call again.
