Ordered from here recently not only did my food take 1 and a half hours to come the chips were rock solid and cold. I also ordered from the appetisers on food hub where it said honey and chillie chicken wings did not state at all that it was going to come with onions all over it baring in mind i have an intolerance to them. So i rang up and the lady on the phone basically said i was wrong and its chow mein they all have veg on everything but it wasnt chow mein i ordered it was an appetiser of chicken wings. Why not state that on the menu that it comes with them. Also asked for my sauce to be separate from the chips low and behold they were bathed in it. At least the prawn crackers were nice

I order from here all the time the food is the best but lately everything I've ordered for delivery has been wrong, I ordered a king prawn dish the other day but got chicken and tonight wanted beef strip in sweet chilly sauce but they came dry. Other than that it is best around here.

You'd be far pressed to find better Chinese food than here. All the way from Leeds and delivered fresh/hot to our door in Staithes .. absolutely amazing service and the food was just brilliant !! Bravo and best wishes to the team (whoever you are) at Taste of China

Recently moved to the area and was recommended this restaurant by a neighbour, it was very busy when I got there, the lady on the desk was great, super friendly and helpful. Food was piping hot , tasty and good value for money in terms of portion size. Only slight niggle was that it was later than the selected pick up time... but again it was busy and it was only an extra 10 minutes so really not a big issue. Will definitely be going back and would recommend.

Good is tasty and always piping hot with great portions. I've tried several dishes and they have all been spot on. Highly recommend for a lovely take away. Delivery staff always lovely too

On a weekend break for my wife's birthday from Hull. Ordered at 715 picked up 735. Great service on the phone, lovely lady greeted me and the food was fantastic. We the tandoori last time we were here and paid £35 and hardly got anything for our money. Paid the same for Chinese today, and we had plenty left over. Wouldn't hesitate to go back, how this place gets bad reviews is beyond me

First time ordering from here. Never again. Food 40 minutes late. No apology given. Food was tasteless and swimming in grease. Absolutely vile. Would highly recommend NEVER eating from here.

Ordered online without much fuss. We were staying at a camp site not too far away so we called to tell them and it wasn't an issue. The delivery driver showed up about half an hour later after ringing us to find out where we were. So that was good service. The food was OK, it wasn't bad but also wasn't amazing. I'm leaving 3 stars as it's in the middle.

Order earlier tonight special curry and fried rice only to find it's boiled rice.DISSAPOINTED.

Bought a couple of meals from here after reading the glowing reviews and we were really disappointed.. The girl at reception was great but that didn't make up for the frankly horrible food. The chicken dish was tasteless and featured slimy lumps of chicken that were really unpleasant. The beef dish was slightly better taste wise but again the beef was slimy and both dishes were overloaded with large pieces of onion. The egg fried rice tasted stale as though it had come out of a packet and was not nice either. It's a shame as we were really looking forward to our first Take a Way in years.

Looks really delicious! Looks fresh and enticing! Excellent delivery and presentation. Mixed starters are superb. Yum yum! and for £8 absolutely spot on! However the Chow Mein, my favourite, the House Special, tastes so boring and bland. Disappointing to say the least. We had to drown it in soy sauce and that just didn't help, tbf. Haven't tried the chicken chop suey yet, (tomorrow). Fingers crossed it's going to be lovely, 🤞

Order from hear fairly frequently and the food is allways beautiful 👌 ... there allways more than accommodating for ridiculous fussy eaters like myself , and the salt and pepper chips are full of flavour seasoning and allways big plentiful , perfect take away 👌 allways arrives piping hot and in good time

As you are no doubt aware it is now mandatory for anyone entering a pub to wear some sort of face covering and either sign in or use the QR scanner to register that they have been on the premises. One of your delivery drivers came to our premises tonight (The Hollywell View) to deliver some food to a customer and refused to wear a face covering even when asked politely by both bar staff and the Landlady stating that he didn't have to! Please ensure your staff are aware of the rules which are not a request but a legal requirement or they will no longer be allowed in our premises. I find it incredible that anyone who purports to suffer from an illness which makes him exempt from wearing a face covering does not carry the required exemption card and can be so rude to staff and owners who are doing their best to ensure the law is being followed for the good of all of our staff and customers.

Yesterday I ordered 3x special chow mein it is not the first time as my family like it. Delivered within 20min of ordering great ! However, was very disappointed at the lack of taste and lack of meat in the chow mein...tiny bits of meats very much surprised there was some polony inside too... After the anticipation of having a good taste of China chow mein I must admit I was disappointed so is my family:(

Chicken chow mein had,delicious

Delivery service has been 1st class everytime saltnchilli king prawns are very good quite big and served with the best bed that I have had them on and actually eat. Girlfriend has lemon chicken and seems to get a huge portion. Onion rings and prawn toast awesome but needs rolling in kitchen roll to mop up excess fat. Very friendly reception everytime.I cant give 5 stars but think they should be above 4.2 average rating if there other food is as good. oh and mushrooms are great too.
