The best restaurants in Redcar and Cleveland North East

Visited recently with friends for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent as was the service. Plenty of staff. The only downside is the price of drinks. Very expensive. Cannot fault the food or service. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely Horrible, Ordered Wrap , But it was Tasteless & a mass of slop , because sauce was inside wrap & it was rolled so tight , The wrap itself was soggy dough, Far too much sauce on for inside wrap , Will Not be ordering from here again , It was A Total Tasteless Sloppy mess I did Not eat it , Only ate chips as they were in their own separate box , Horrible 🤨🤨🤨

The pizza was amazing me and my family thoroughly enjoyed the food The customer service was also great My sons got a burger and chips and he said the chips were perfectly cooked

Been coming here for a few years now and had no complaints. But the last twice we have called it was the worst fish and chips we have ever had . They had just fried some fresh chips but they were hard and scrappy . The fish or lack of fish was very rubbery and there was more chewy batter than fish . Will not be calling there for a while . Don’t know what has happened as we always recommend this fish shop .

a great place to go we go every week after our walk and are meet with very friendly staff and great tea and pies and cakes, always make you fell welcome

We sat outside on a nice sunny lunchtime. After a short wait we ordered two portions of quiche with salad and coleslaw and drinks. We both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.

I called in to purchase an item which I’d seen many months ago. I asked the lady, who I imagine was a senior member of staff, what would be the death on the price of the items I was interested in. She looked at the ticket, which read £159, and said £159! No wiggle room I asked? No she said, but if you buy it at full price we will send you a voucher for your next purchase! Highly unlikely as I don’t visit Saltburn that often. She just let me walk out of the store! All I wanted was to give the local shops business, but a little discount would’ve been nice. Needless to say I didn’t buy the item, and managed to find exactly the same item online from a store in the south for £112! I rest my case.

Always a friendly greeting at the Voyager. Staff always attentive, pleasant and helpful. It was quite busy yesterday but waiting times for food were at a minimum. Great service!

Visited easter Monday for a carvery wish I never roast potato's where as black as Cole it's beyond belief they where even aloud to be out for consumption turkey was the most driest ever not sure how to upload picture on here unless it let's me after this step I actually left the full of my carvery cabbage was under cooked pigs in blankets turkey and roasties well over cooked staff didn't care less after telling them I was told food is boud to dry out sitting under the heat lamps after being a regular here for approx 2 years fair to say my custom will not continue worst experience I've ever had eating out. I'll be reviewing on all platforms and hopefully can attach pics too never again will I even consider eating here especially for carvery menu food is totally fine I'd of been happy being offered another meal as staff could see nothing was eaten on plate but no plate was just simply taken away no apology or anything once they have ur money customer service is non existent

Amazing service, we were a large party of 14, food was hot and served all the same time! Prices amazing also! Such an amazing family friendly pub! Will most definitely be returning soon
