Wow what a hidden gem ! This place is fab .. Specials menu excellent value, and food was superb . Chicken Kiev one of the best I’ve had , vegetables cooked to perfection . Starters and deserts lovely . Easy parking . Lovely family run restaurant excellent service .. We will be back for sure !

Never had a poor meal here, service spot on and food quality top drawer. Family have also tried with same results. Enough for next day. Recommend a visit or you can get delivered

We used Frydays for the first time today and couldn't fault a thing. Everything was cooked perfectly and fish was very good quality. Lovely friendly staff and a great menu. Highly recommend 🏅

Kitchen was closed but no issue, nice pub nice pints all good

Food was great and excellent portion sizes. This is the first time we have been in since change of ownership. The new owners are making a difference, we'll done we will be back I'm sure.

placed an order on their website. money taken. order never fulfilled and when i rang the resteraunt they just said “website problem today website problem you cancel cancel plz” and i said i cannot cancel it because the order has been placed and the payment taken so there is no option on the website to cancel. to which he just replied “website problem, you cancel” so i told him again its not for me to cancel, if they cannot fulfill the order they need to cancel it and refund me. he just put the phone down on me. i rang back and said they had taken my payment and he just put the phone down. please please do not place an order with these guys. they will happily rip you off and assume zero responsibility!

The absolute best ice cream that has ever existed. Every time I’m back in Newcastle I have to go get this ice cream because it is just so delicious. Got there as the shop was about to close and the lovely lady behind the till let us get served which I really appreciated. 10/10 shop.

Normally spot on but really disappointed with tonight's order, parmo was just chicken with a bit cheese on top and smelt weird couldn't eat it and my son said the chicken in his hungry box was soggy and horrible!

Food has decreased over the years while price has increased. Tried once more, but the place rejected our order despite being open for another 45 minutes. Pizza and kebab isn’t a hard order. Kids enjoy the garlic bread. Place is a joke. Can’t provide for anyone.

I have ordered here on a few occasions before. And on more than one occasion the food is over an hour late with no explanation or apology. To make matters worse when i rang to ask where it was and then speak to the manager he was very rude and abrupt with me. him saying what did I want him to do! I said that as a customer it shouldn’t be me doing that he should be the manager explaining the problem and ultimately apologising for it. I can’t imagine if you were in a restaurant that a manager would come over and say that. I ordered food at 5:15 and I’ve juat been told now at 6:20 it will be another 15-20 mins late . This is definitely the Last time I order food from this place!
