First time trying will defo return food was lovely

Great food although one meal I wasn't keen on which I normally love was their egg fu yung, nothing wrong with it but done differently to what I'm used too, they have great single meal deals too which is great value and great for me as I'm single and hate wasting huge portions

Had to share my happiness with you ! The barbecue sauce was lovely! Spicy curry amazing and the shredded chicken was delicious! Been looking for months for a lovely barbecue sauce and got one here !! Recommend 100% and I’ll be back soon !

Have been trying to find a decent Chinese since moving to Seghill and we've found it! Service is first class and the food has always been delicious! Would not hesitate to recommend!!

Best Chinese in the area. We use them most Friday's. Staff are so friendly, food always amazing. Wouldn't go anywhere else

I've taken away food from here since I arrived in this area. The lass on reception/cash desk is always pleasant, although very busy, taking phone orders. They have a delivery service, if needs be. Meals are decent enough, albeit not perfect, and delivered in a bearable time. I'd never not go back. It's one of the decent local Chinese takeaways in the immediate area.

so me and my boyfriend got a munchie box from here on Thursday 30th November 2023. We will never be back in the future. 20/ 30 mins after eating my belly started cramping up. So went in the bath to see if that would help. It did not. Started vomiting profusely. Then the diarrhea started. My boyfriend was fine because he did not eat any of the rice or chicken balls. Would not recommended unless you want to be bed bound for 2 days. Today is the first day I’ve been able to actually get up out of bed and feel some what okay in my self. Might have been a 1 off but definitely will not be back.

Never had a bad meal from here. Salt and pepper chips are amazing. Customer service is excellent too.

Ordered 2house special curry’s and both cartons were only half filled, hardly anything in

I ordered king prawns in chilli sauce I got shredded chicken I am now on my way to hospital with my friend who can’t eat chicken person on phone tried to say we don’t do shredded chicken do why is it on menu and sorry but anyone can tell difference between prawns and chicken and to hang up on a custom is digressful won’t waste my time coming back and u need to learn customer service here is three for u number 1 don’t hang up on customer 2 accept when u are wrong and correct it 3. Learn wot food is wot and sever it

Food is good but not worth the extrotionate prices

Our new favourite local, we're very picky and don't tend to use the same takeaway twice but used these a few times now and it's great! Lass on the phone is really nice and helpful too. Attached a menu since we couldn't find one online

Set meal for 2 feeds 4 .... amazing food

Can’t add up. Leaflet price chop suey £7.50 fried rice £2.70 chips £2.10 curry sauce £2.00 = £14.30. I got charged over £16 . Did not realise until I got home and read price leaflet. Did not get free prawn crackers as advertised on leaflet for orders over .£16. 🤔Meal bland!! Not going back

The chicken cashew I had from there wasn't nice smelled funny and tasted funny Anything else I've ever had from there has been lovely

Excellent quality of food and choice on the menu. Value for money is beyond doubt. One of the best local Chinese take away only in the area.

Had sweet and sour pork it was chewy it was disgusting and the chips tasted like they had been reheated . First time I have been here now it will be the last would not recommend this takeaway .

Great food would get a full 5 stars for that but they don't take card and the nearest cash machine charges 99p for a withdrawal. These days many people don't regularly carry any cash and one day the machine was out of order so I had to drive to annitsford to use the cash machine there.

Quick, friendly service, great food

Ordered special curry and chips with sweet and sour king prawns with rice. Absolutely disgusting!! Chips were black and cold, king prawns were soggy and chewy. Also the special curry was tasteless and cold. Will not be ordering again!!! Awful food

9-08-20 Started going back here about 4weeks ago, called in every Saturday night since, a great improvement to the food. If you used to get your takeaway here but stopped, it's time to give it another try.

Lovely meal for 1 great value and delicious

Called in for sweet and sour chicken and rice , it had absolutely no taste , the chicken were very small bits over done , the veg was raw , awful , won't be back yuck

Lovely food and staff are really friendly makes a change from what they had in the past

Curry not bad generous portions however not as good as the former owners Wing Yip, Chuen Lee is Seaton Delaval is better in my opinion

Really nice food and prices are fair

Had been using this takeaway for years and always enjoyed good quality at reasonable prices, but since the change of ownership it's become a bog standard takeaway and prices have gone up. As others have mentioned the woman on the desk/phone needs to go to charm school. I've heard her take orders and bark down the phone as well as argue with her over what I'd ordered even though I was quite clear what I asked for ! There are better choices nearby.

Woman on the counter is extremely rude, her attitude and customer service tonight was horrendous. I went to collect my wife's order under our surname, and she shouted at me..."if you don't know what you ordered how can I give you your order"? I said it was ordered under our surname to which she again shouted "we don't take the name down, you should know what you ordered". Absolute idiot. Trying to blame me for her incompetence and in front of other customers / witnesses that were mortified at her behaviour. Safe to say I won't be back. Well done for that. One good customer lost.

I love this takeaway been using it for years and my dad sometimes has a special curry that he says is always good, prices have gone ipba bit but its good food for me waiting time usual for a takeaway so can't complain really.

Was gorgeous when the wing yip but since changed owners and now the golden dragon food has taken a major major slide.... won't be going back, bit gutted cos the chefs when it was wing yip were amazing, now...... well try for your self if your not sure but I can assure you ya won't try for a second time

The food is really good, it is a bit pricey though, the set meals aren't very good value.

Foods nice however the distance from jarrow to hebburn is 7.7 miles apparently so I can't get any food which is pathetic.(It's not 7.7 miles btw).
