Tuvimos una reserva de la tarde en Nochevieja y toda la experiencia fue excelente. El lugar nos dijo por adelantado que necesitábamos tener nuestro pedido de comida en 14 . 30 porque tenían mucho que hacer para su banquete completo. Teníamos pre-reservado nuestro perro, así que estábamos en la sección de bares, pero esto estaba absolutamente bien y tan bueno como su restaurante principal (supongo). Nuestra mesa nos estaba esperando cuando llegamos tarde (problemas de taxi! ) pero estaban felices de tomar nuestros pedidos de comida por teléfono, así que todo estaba bien para los 14. 30 deadline. El menú no era extenso pero nuestra fiesta no tuvo problemas en seleccionar los champiñones salteados, haggis (brillante) , sopa y cóctel de gambas y salmón (increíble) . La mayoría de nuestro partido tenía hamburguesas para principal, pero también teníamos una salchicha y puré, así como lubina. Vino y Prosecco eran geniales, así como un Martini expreso. Gran, atento, servicio personal. Bien hecho.

Disfrutamos de una comida fabulosa en un entorno encantador. El personal era genial y la comida era muy sabrosa. Los postres también eran fabulosos con una buena selección en oferta.

I visited last week. The shop had good reviews and was fairly close to where I was staying. I bought haddock and chips. The main problem was a soggy, greasy batter. This had soaked through to the meat of the fish so it no longer retained its beautiful whiteness. The chips were mostly small and hard. One of the worst fish suppers I've ever had. I'm from the North East of Scotland and am used to excellently cooked fish and chips.

I know Happy chef are closing down soon but that's no reason to never answer the phone for delivery orders. The food is nice and reasonably priced but after being a regular customer for some time you'd expect them to carry on as normal until they do close. If they no longer want to deliver then I'll just have to order elsewhere.

Can't comment on Atmosphere, but the food was tasty and plenty of it. (In fact, we were both defeated by the portions.) More importantly, my wife, who can not eat some foods, enjoyed her lamb kebab. "Just off the BBQ," she said. Thank you.

Reservado a última hora con un 30% de la red, que era una ventaja. El personal es muy amable y la comida deliciosa. Niño con autismo y el personal de nuevo simplemente encantador con él a pesar de que estaban muy ocupados nada se precipitó. Definitivamente volveremos pronto y dijo que este fue su mejor almuerzo de domingo.

Excelente visita tan amable, incluyendo para los perros. El helado era delicioso, el servicio era genial. Se necesitará un viaje de regreso. Adecuado para familias gran parque

Great local Organic Farm Shop with a wide selection of fresh produce and its own Organic Butchers. Handy on-site Post Office service as well. Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable about the products and very welcoming. A great place to get your weekly supplies and have a coffee while you're there. Well worth a visit.

Absolute cracking pub, the view of the river out the back is lovely, can imagine it being a good sun trap! Only thing I wish it done was some pub grub food to accompany the beverages, doesn’t have to be fine dining but just some sort of food menu.

Food and staff are second to non. Practically family now Im in there that much. Unfortunately for me. Fantastic old school cooking as well as healthy and special options. The savouries are famous and so they should be, sometimes get a savoury with my meal. Your not from Darlo unless you’ve had a savoury in your life. The girls/lads all bully me and only reason I keep going back. Ultimate breakfast or the Roast dinner with extra fried roasties are the one. Simon needs to pull his socks up when Im in though. Thats my only fault is our Simon, he knows what I mean! ;-) thanks for always looking after me. Also opens at 8:30 which is good for someone up as early as I am and needs feeding properly!

Ordered a pizza, kids pizza and calzone at 4.13pm arrive 5.25pm and pizza was cold, heated it up and it cheese went disgusting so thrown in the bin. Very disappointed as ordered early so can’t imagine it was even really busy at this time. Now to find new food to eat after already paying for this. Absolutely gutted. First time ordering from here and will not order again.
